Funny enough I was looking at that exact watch. On december 24th my wife sent me for some last minute gifts for the kids, stores were quite empty so I stoped at the watch dealer (Longines, Hamilton, Seiko, Certina, Maurice Lacroix, Alpina etc .....) I went through everything they had and the only watch which really caught my attention was this one, the sale person told me to wait a few days to get better deals and I think I am going to buy it. It really does look like nothing else, except maybe a SmartWatch 😅
I fear my video just doesn't do it justice as it's a super cool model, as you know seeing it in the metal. If you get it let me know what you think of it Vincent
Indeed, those models were genuine ceramic. Many jewellers these days think of (cheap) ceramic bracelets as fragile, but Rado rightly boasted about how tough these models were. My favourite models had the black and gold bracelets and there's one of those they're still producing today. For me, those were the signature models and I don't understand the hype around the meh Captain Cook model, although it looks completely different.
I like both models but not the ceramic Captain's just the standard ones, did you know a new Rado ceramic bracelet costs £905 to replace as they do crack when dropped
The best thing of your reviews is the way you speak English. 😁 That accent is not the typical British accent I'm used to. (I'm not even a native English speaker, I'm from south America , but I live in the USA now) . But your accent is cool !
A brand that i struggle to get my head around 😅 but yeah the green and black here work really well together and think they could easily have made it a fraction larger 😎👍
I have the original jubile, which is timeless (no pun intended). This anniversary watch is very nice, but cannot compare with that one. Rado should have stayed away from the the anniversary marketing fad and just released it as a separate model.

I was 15, and I had my 1st ceramic RADO... coolest watch at that time, nobody was making ceramic watches... enough to say I was very popular 😂
