Sequel of Felony 11-79.
A bit messy game. At one point you get to choose which level you want, but it doesn't change the main story of the game. After I beat the game I played through them: 01:01:01 Missions 4 and 7. Also I couldn't find out how to reach mission 11 (According to one FAQ on GameFAQs, it doesn't exist). Also I got the mission 8 briefing after I beat that mission. Like I sadi - a mess. -

I remember this like yesterday. I never forgot about this game.. It was kinda surreal in a funny way.. I might have gotten like 40% completed like back some 2 decades back... never saw the ending.

@Christian Barrett Im from Italy - PAL and we always had the game called Felony 11-79 :D never knew they made a sequel... and honestly is not so good like the first :(
Who wrote the plot for this? I played this when I was 11 yo and I was like, "Dude, WTF just happened?" I thought that's just because my English wasn't good enough to understand the texts back then. Seventeen years later, my English is good enough to write UA-cam comments and this is still trippy af.
seems like a hard game with the really short amount of time they give you to finish missions

They can develop more content or smoother AI.
But I didn't find any kind of this genre nowadays.

@@ThatGingerCuntFromTerminator2 this game is less forgiving then Runabout 1! Especially the US Version, you can beat most requests with all the vehicles in the Japanese version, but the US Version has a reduced time limit meaning vehicles like the fire truck, tractor. Tank, etc… won’t be able to do almost any mission.
The US version was later released to PAL as a budget title by Midas Games in early 2003.

I wish all the good requests in this game lasted longer! Like the first part of the first Crystal Gate City request, the whole mission and many other of the good missions feel like just the start to a mission from Runabout 1, all three missions in that game took at least 3 minutes to complete with the Ram, and all three missions were absolute bangers! All the good missions in this game are too short! Taking like 1 minute to complete!
the in-game emails tell you how to get to mission 11, just run out of time in mission 9.

I played this in Japanese version. I have no clue whatsoever but I'm managed to finished it. Just remaining 5 missions that i didn't complete because i have no idea what i should do. Lol.
@Christian Barrett this is late but probably modded ps1 console is the reason, I know mine was like that haha, played so many different games from everywhere, never even knew region locking was a thing back then.
In short, the player hired by Foundation to destroy the ancient weapon that can eliminate all humanity.
I have no idea how to get all cars. Most of them I got to complete missions without damaging the environment.
There is a mission that you must destroy all food stands at Yen City, or play duration game.
Tips Instant Game Over: Drive a nuke truck and launch nuke.

thanks for inspiring me to finish the game as well. I've never played a game where the plot was so all over the place and it didn't even matter in a game like this where you drive from one point to another. they must have some very weird drugs over there in japan.
whatever happened to mission 13a? it was supposed to be unlocked when you finished mission13 with over 100seconds which you did

the devs who made this went on to make Super Runabout for Dreamcast and then Wreckfest for X-Box and PS2 right?
Some of the team responsible for Super Runabout (San Francisco Edition) for Dreamcast went on to develop *"Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions"* ( known as "Double S.T.E.A.L." in Japan) for the original Xbox launch. And a sequel called "Double S.T.E.A.L. The Second Clash" was released only in Japan in 2005. There were GameCube and PS2 ports of "Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions" but sadly they pale in comparison to the Xbox original.. But when playing "Wreckless" you can really feel the inspiration taken from the Runabout (Felony 11-79) games! Feels like a true Runabout sequel on Xbox, tbh!
I never heard about this game, but... Love Felony 1179. Original is much better and give more fun. Sequel is very boring, less dynamic and action.
