Why not go into the return? The clean channel colors the sound quite a bit. Especially since you're running a valeton , I assume you're using it for amp model.

I would love to see you try the new JHS hard drive. They say it gets really usable "modern distortion tones." I'm super curious if it can chug just by itself.
Since you took 32 seconds before realizing that the amp wasn’t on, and the final will it chug time was 2:09, the true will it chug time was about 1:37.
Tried these along Artist model and got Line 6 DT25 combo over them as it sounded better, just couldn't get Katana to sound they way DT25 does. Has the cut, but kinda lacks sound stage or resonance or just has odd sound signature curve as default.
I have the MKII. The contour, solo and some other new knobs are not physically present but I get them through the Boss Tone Studio. I'd love to be able to crank it at 50% without freaking out. It'd be interesting to know if they upgraded the speaker (that was already good).
I'd be interested to hear a closed back combo amp version. I know the head and cab version is closed back. Just curious if it's a little punchier or maybe had a little more low end. I always felt those qualities were important to the tone I seek.
tried the gen 2 i believe in a music shop with a humbucker strat. even on the brown channel it still has really low gain even with the gain knob maxed out and the booster effect on. tho the videos of the katana and the mini ola has made sounds freaking AMAZING.
Its weird cuz i try the same thing but 50 watt with cheap 200ish usd humbucker guitar at the same store and it sound brutal as f**k , even if i detuned the guitar to drop f which make the string extremely floppy
Picked up a mk2 combo last year, and I love that thing. It's ridicuously versatile... honestly I'm really lazy and have barely scratched the surface on how to use it (the app and pedal board in particular) 😅
I only hope the "pushed brown" joke doesn't go unnoticed/unappreciated
I mean, if you push it, it's probably going to be brown.

But where's the Chug-O-meter? :D
Glad the surgery went well, this amp chugs like a champ. i need twenty of them.
Was it a 100w model?
Its weird cuz i try the same thing but 50 watt with cheap 200ish usd humbucker guitar at the same store and it sound brutal as f**k , even if i detuned the guitar to drop f which make the string extremely floppy
Something in the presets probably caused that. The brown channel has definitely enough gain to make you push brown. Lol
Man that really chugs! Cool!
Picked up a mk2 combo last year, and I love that thing. It's ridicuously versatile... honestly I'm really lazy and have barely scratched the surface on how to use it (the app and pedal board in particular) 😅
Need to hear the Current Gen Peavey Vypyr X 3 against this. I'm guessing the Peavey will sounds better. But this does sound good.
Just got the artist mk2 I’m in love with it
2:16 wtf is going on with the timer 🤣 those are not seconds!!!
