Honestly really like this amp, and for 40 watts solid state, it sounds nice and loud but also very focused. Compared to my Randall 1503 which sounds massive but in a smaller room, it's abit overkill. This bridges the gap when it comes to getting that Dime sound at a more conservative volume for home and studio applications, and a mic to the cab will cover the live portion. Really cool looking also, compared to modern modelling units, this thing just seems more inviting and tactile like a real amp should.
Gotta say, more amplifier companies should do an amplifier with only one main distortion channel. No cleans or any bs, add a noise gate and maybe some reverb. Keep it under $1000, 50 watts, and keep the small form factor. I'd be all in..
The RG voicing of this amp combined with the Demon speakers (good stand in for the Randall Jaguars) badass playing and just an awesome look with the snakeskin tolex and glow in the dark logo makes this an easy sell. Can't wait for them to the unveil the big one!
