What I love about the movie is that there just isn’t a forgettable moment. Every moment feels like it was made just to be memorable and hit hard. Whether it was action, character development, jokes, any scene in the movie felt so memorable and just left you in a good mood
My favorite moment was when Mario and Donkey Kong got a super mushroom and a fire flower and they run and do it like the Mario levels I loved that moment it also had a lotta Easter eggs and references

My favorite part of the movie was definitely in the Mario Kart Rainbow Road scene, there’s a Blue Spiny Koopa Troopa and he’s better known as the Koopa General, and he does whatever he takes to go after Mario and stop him in his tracks. After Mario destroys his cart, he yelled the iconic line, “BLUE SHELL!” and he exploded of course! I was so happy they included it in the movie. A Blue Shell moment in that scene is certainly something I’ll always remember.
My Most Favorite Parts of *The Super Mario Bros. Movie* are Mario and Luigi Always Having Each Other's Backs, Peach Supporting Mario's Determination of Saving the Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser's Reign of Terror, The Mario Kart Reference Scene, Donkey Kong Grab the Fire Flower, and he becomes Fire Donkey Kong and Mario and Luigi Grabbing the Star Power Together and Defeated Bowser Together!
That's the only odd thing about the movie. At first, I was like, "This is so weird," but after a while, I can call it the winner for "Jack Black's Best Song"!
100 minutes would've made it better, but that's nothing to scoff over, as the visuals of the movie are beyond perfect! Not what we were thinking, but still great!

Mario will always have a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite character of all time! My favorite parts were bowser’s song and Mario and Luigi’s relationship you can tell that they truly love each other! My only complaint was the pacing and Dk! Dk got on my nerves 😟 😒 anyways I give it a 9.8/10!!!!!!!
You left out outside for the most important factor. The brotherly bond between Mario and Luigi. This focus is why the plot is actually pretty good and meaningful.

This movie became my new favorite movie ever! As a Mario fan, I confirmed it would be great, and it was more than great; it is AMAZING!! While the movie is amazing, there is one thing about it that I find pretty odd: Bowser’s musical number "Peaches" by Jack Black, his voice actor. I was divided on it at first, but after a while, it started growing on me, so much so that one time I got emotional and shed a tear or two. I don't really mind the song, as long as it doesn't get super catchy, but I gotta praise Jack Black for writing a song that's his best work yet! Aside from the ballad thing, everything about the Mario Movie is just amazing! (Edit) Maybe except for a few scenes here and there, such as Donkey Kong throwing a hissy fit in the eel; I have to take that with a grain of salt.

5:50 I thought the 80s music fit perfectly in the theme of the movie. The original Mario games were from the 1980s. Most of the characters of the series came from that decade. So to me it feels like they were making reference to the time when Mario was starting by giving the audience a generation of music to relate to. Of course a lot of the other themes like the Smash battle, Kart, and the 3D games came later, but the start all showed up in the 80s. Of course there's the Easter egg at the end that could make the sequel idea being brought from the 90s. Maybe if they make a 3rd movie after that one we'll see Rosalina in the 2000s
Thanks, well summed up. The critics who complain about the taste of audience are wrong about the audience. Just because the audience likes a light, funny and simple movie with a clear story like Super Mario Bros doesn't make the audience "tasteless fools who don't understand quality and good entertainment." Ever since I saw the movie the “peaches” song has been stuck in my head. I cannot get it out and I sometimes sting it because I don’t know what to do.

5:50 I thought the 80s music fit perfectly in the theme of the movie. The original Mario games were from the 1980s. Most of the characters of the series came from that decade. So to me it feels like they were making reference to the time when Mario was starting by giving the audience a generation of music to relate to. Of course a lot of the other themes like the Smash battle, Kart, and the 3D games came later, but the start all showed up in the 80s.
Of course there's the Easter egg at the end that could make the sequel idea being brought from the 90s. Maybe if they make a 3rd movie after that one we'll see Rosalina in the 2000s

Thanks, well summed up. The critics who complain about the taste of audience are wrong about the audience. Just because the audience likes a light, funny and simple movie with a clear story like Super Mario Bros doesn't make the audience "tasteless fools who don't understand quality and good entertainment." The Mario movie is fun, joyful, celebratory and very enjoyable.
I hope Tom Holkenborg (the composer of the Sonic Movies) can learn something from fellow composer Brian Tyler.

I love everything in the Super Mario bros movie. It's the best and a masterpiece that everything is so beautiful and bright and actors and actresses did wonderful for the voice of every Mario characters that it makes the Super Mario bros movie a number one movie in the illumination in my opinion that it makes the illumination even better that the super Mario bros movie for the illumination is wonderful and a masterpiece and sometime I would be hoping if they made a second one called the super Mario bros movie 2 for the illumination if they had more action, more setting, more location in the movie, more referents, and more characters for actors and actresses voicing of if they did that would be even more awesome and a masterpiece just like the first one if they can.

Anather plus about this movie is that it doesn't have a forgettable subplot about humans in the real world like with other live action cartoon and video-game movies, because the filmmakers of the movie are very aware that the main reason why people would want to see this movie was because of Mario, Luigi, Bowser and many other Mario characters nad some random human characters that we had never met before nor do wee care what would happen to them.
