Great video I Have the boost $15 a month plan. Not a lot of data but I make it work. Since I'm constantly around wifi.
May as well where I'm renting that there's free Wi-Fi and cluded so can't beat that 😀🎸
I've gone back to boost mobile. Last time i was with them was in 2014-2017. When they were owned by sprint, had metro but ehh..their LTE/5G speeds suck real bad. Boost mobile however, i've never had an issue with them. They gave me the long gone $40 unlimited talk, text, 35GB data, and 15GB hotspot plan. That plan is grandfathered in for me, and the speeds are insane!
Same for me i got 5g phone from metro worst experience of my life which is why I switched to boost especially with maybe 1 5g tower in my area that everyone who has 5g shares it is so bad videos constantly loading getting kicked off online games I paid for service I could barely use and they refused to reimburse me when i complained I didn't even want money just my phone to work.
I have been with boost mobile since November fifth of 2022 three months going on four. I have a galaxy with the fifty dollar plan so far I'm very happy. If you spin the wheel and watch ads you get discounts. Great company.
With boost, are you able to just switch sim cards from one device to another without having to register the device like metro PCs does
Dude, thank you for sharing this. Extremely helpful 🎉🎉🎉
You're welcome. I'm glad I could help.
Are you going all in. As your primary line of service? I have the same deal too. Been very solid in the Philadelphia area.
No, it's going to remain as my 2nd line. My main line is on Visible.
You are the MAN brothaaaa!!! 🤟😎🤟 📱👌
Thanks man I appreciate it. Thank you for watching 👍
Thanks for the great review. I got Verizon now (10 years) and mint mobile 1 year ago. I do doordash full time for work and their are dead spots for service with both of them. I'm hoping that Att with boost will be better in my area. I get completely stressed out when I can't complete a delivery due to no service
Thanks for this. Nice to know you can change phones easily.
You're welcome.
Yeah it's nice to change phones whenever I want, but sometimes the APN settings don't transfer, but that's easy to fill in.
I’m currently on metro and the service has been going downhill call quality has decreased greatly as well hopefully the switch to boost is great 💯
@@James_R369 I ended up switching to cricket and it has been great so far honestly
@@TheDonRMZ has cricket been better then metro looking to switch
My phone is unlocked but if I use boost will they lock my phone?
Do I need to call them if I want to change to new carrier?
Boost mobile will not lock your phone. It's only locked if you buy a phone from Boost mobile, but not if you bring an unlocked phone.
I used to like boost but I found out they been trying to scam me. My unlimited plan used to be only 60 something dollars a month and it jumped up to 120 something a month. I called them to see why and they wouldn't tell me. They just told me I have to pay the extra 40 plus dollars if I want my service be restored. I didn't bother paying so my phone shut off. I'm going back to metro. I thought boost was cheap? I guess not. I am not gonna pay 120 something a month for 1 line. That price is the same as almost getting a contact phone. They ripping me off. I called my bank to file a charge back because I felt like I paid 60 plus dollars for nothing.
I honestly think every cell phone company are scam artists because they literally lie about everything and consistently try to overcharge people consistently because my experience is that pretty much all the companies do this because they know that a lot of people won't catch it and they make their companies millions of dollars more per month based on people not catching it and having this as their normal business practice sadly!
This sounds like a made up story
I’ve had Boost Mobile for a week right now and is actually better than my T-Mobile was in my location for half the price. The only issue with Boost is that there is no support you don’t get any USA support it’s all over seas and they’re reading from cue cards, you can’t ask them any technical question because they don’t know what they’re doing, but for the service it’s been pretty good so just don’t have any issues with your phone and your fine
Yeah that's the biggest issue with most MVNO's is how bad the customer support is. I always said that about every carrier with the TracFone brand: As long as you never have to call customer service, you should be good to go lol.
You get USA support, what are you talking about? Boost customer service is excellent!
Hey RJ, what unlocked phones do you use on Boost Mobile? I'm switching to Boost Mobile. Thanks for the video.
I use a variety of phones. I use my Pixel devices, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, OnePlus devices. Also phones from Umidigi, NUU Mobile, Blu, and others.
Does this $25 plan has hotspot? If yes, how many GB of hotspot?
It doesn't have separate hotspot. If you use hotspot it comes off of the 30gb of high speed data.
I like the fact that we can use any phone brand on boost mobile like Xiaomi ect... I feel like samsung made some kind of deal to keep most other android companies/ real competition out of the U.S.... A lot of Xiaomi phones still have a i.r blaster & micro sd card support with good specs and they dont ask for you to give up a kidney to get one😂... This is coming from a samsung galaxy z fold owner. Thanks for the video man, it was very informative.👍
Lack of competition in the US is just terrible. 93% of carrier sales go to Apple and Samsung. Even like Motorola and OnePlus has had some China only releases in recent years. Really it's basically Samsung, pixel, OnePlus, moto, Sony.... But all of those are lucky to dent 1% market share.
I heard that Verizon just launched a free 30 day trial that includes 100GB of data.
I believe it's exclusive to iPhones only.
@@frank-bmtz I heard that it is exclusive to eSIM but is not iPhone exclusive so an Android with eSIM should work as well.
I have home internet so I stay on my own WiFi and don't even use my phone data.
Don't u go out tho?
To bad boost doesn’t have the boost up program anymore
Yeah that's been gone for quite a while now.
Thansk CV!!
If boost runs off of T-Mobile network & metro does how can you say metro is better or worse than boost makes no sense
While some of the older plans still work on T-Mobile. Most new plans on Boost Mobile are on the AT&T network, including the plan I'm on.
I can't personally say how Boost Mobile works on the T-Mobile network.
@@cvtechreview appreciate u, I was always confused. Thanks tbo
Might get a second line 😸
I hear ya. My service is excellent.
They get good and then they get bad I mean like they're $7 a month insurance plan sucks I remember when they were really good back when they were with Sprint they're getting good again now they're back with AT&t now I think but they gave me an iPhone 11 for free and when I pulled the sticker up it had scratches under it so I just switched to this I hope this one will turn out better but at least I got a hundred extra dollars in my pocket and you can always resell an iPhone boost Mobile good and not good I'm up and down with them PS but I live in the metropolitan area say you get more easier
The not taking my imei
Boost mobile used to use T mobile towers
Some plans still use T-Mobile I think, but Dish is trying to get everyone to switch to the AT&T plans.
They still do 🤮
It rides over the towers
Purchase speed test vpn
Always auto pay 😤
Boost one mobile app stinks
Why do you think it stinks?
