Girl, you never fail me. I subscribed to Boxwalla and got the Dragon’s blood cleanser. I LOVE IT. My maskne was bothering me and this cleanser is the answer to my prayers. I don’t need a second cleanse after it because it works so well. The smell, the blackheads that are coming out (finally) and the pure pampering is delightful. Thank you for your recommendation. I can honestly say, my dry, dehydrated skin has benefited from many of your recommendations but this one is by far, the best.
I love your videos and the products you introduce. On the days I don't use my retinaldehyde, I use the Ordinary's Buffet + Copper Peptide. I used to use the Niod's copper peptide, but the Ordinary's works just as well on my skin without the heavy price tag.

Another fabulous video! My skin, which is usually dry, has been surprisingly normal as well so I am LOVING these product recommendations. The Ordinary Amino Acids + B5 has been a godsend! It plumps up the fine lines under my eyes & just leaves my skin looking & feeling so happy! I started using Slurp Laboratories Hyaluid a few months ago & I absolutely adore it! It is a super potent hyaluronic acid based anti-aging serum formulated with a ton of Niacinamide & peptides (copper tripeptides, rh-ogliopeptides, etc. Pretty much all the good stuff tbh). It's super viscous but it sinks in completely & dries down to be 100% non sticky, leaving my skin looking very plump, fresh, calm, & deeply hydrated. I cannot recommend it enough! Plus you get almost 4 ounces of product in a beautiful clear glass bottle for around $60 but it's totally worth it since it's also an anti-aging serum so over time it works to permanently plump up fine lines & wrinkles. I'm halfway through my first bottle & my skin has noticeably improved (firmer, smoother, smaller pores, more toned, & my fine lines are virtually disappearing in front of my eyes!)

Renee, I was like you, always thinking that I need to do this that to improve or fix something. It turns out now we are under quarantine. My world has become so much smaller. It actually goes to show, when u r stuck, and there is nothing u can do. Life goes back to a kind of Simple form. Plus I m not a failure the whole world is in the same boat. So I have been going back to the basics with my skin routine. No make up, masks, sunblock insect repellent. staying home alot makes my skin dehydrated from the air conditioning. Renee, would love to know your opinion on kelloid scars and how to prevent them. I've had surgery almost 2 months ago in my abdomen, and I'm very prone to them. I've been applying granative retinoid2% (ordinary) and the great barrier relief (my holy grail), with no great outcome so far.
Please take this with a grain of salt coz I am no professional here (just my thoughts :D) We only need a maximum of 5% Niacinamide for us and I regretted buying The Ordinary 10% Niacinamide, its not that it has a bad result, but I am scared it might triggers sensitivity ( so I usually mix it with moisturiser) Plus, there is niacinamide in a lot of products nowadays. Its like a star ingredient already so I dont think you need extra niacinamide not to mention it is 100% in formulation The Ordinary has been going kinda crazy over this

I have settled down with my evening skincare just not the daytime routine especially now that we wear masks everywhere due to covid. I find out that my usual daytime routine increases my sebum production when topped up with heat of wearing mask, which causing some acne breakouts near my nose.

Hi Renee, Can you recommend skincare for hot humid tropical afternoon (I lives in Jakarta, Indonesia) please. I have settled down with my evening skincare just not the daytime routine especially now that we wear masks everywhere due to covid. I find out that my usual daytime routine increases my sebum production when topped up with heat of wearing mask, which causing some acne breakouts near my nose.

I just started watching your video and they are so helpful😍. I am 32 and have very dry skin (no acne). My skin gives no trouble other than light dark areas around nose and mouth. I only use moisturizer and Clinique night repair cream. For a beginner like me, if you have to suggest 3/4 product to build a routine, what would they be?

Hi :)) love the video! I know this is an evening skin care routine but you mentioned not mixing niacinamide with vit c so I was curious your thoughts on that. I am using the L’Oreal vit c on your recommendation mixed with the Ordinary niacinamide & zinc serum about 5 days a week in my morning
I mention what to and to not mix it with. Definitely not with the loreal vit C!!

Hello Renee, thanks for sharing your routine I'm flirting with the idea of a subscription with Boxwalla - because I don't have enough products (: I have a question about CAIS; a) do you use it in the same routine with acid toners? I thought CAIS is an introvert who always wants to be left alone in a routine and b) the liquid looks a bit darker than the one I have (I've used 2 bottles so far, it's a happy lotus blue)
