When you combine That 2.0L turbo 4 from VW with the ZF 8-speed automatic it’s always so perfect. Although the S4 of this generation with its 3.0L supercharged V6 is just as potent with the 7 speed DCT. I’ve always preferred the previous generation Audi design language inside and out. It’s so much more classy and elegant to me.
I'm planning to buy a 2012 audi a4 tfsi quattro 155k miles for £3k with 2 owners. Do you think I should buy it or not. Will the 2 litre consumes more fuel...thanks
Very impressive engine for its time. Even nowadays the ea888 is even more impressive. Test drive a 2019 a4 and from the seat dyno i felt like it had 290-300 hp a lot higher than the rated hp of 262.
@@DMCarReviews not quite. It takes shockingly long for it to hit full boost. It rips much harder off the line if you wait the full time. I belive you had people behind you so you didn’t have time to wait the full duration. But you got the launch control to activate as shown by the aggressive shifts.
The 2.0t 2012 Audi A4 vs 2.0T 2018 Honda Accord which one is faster and more reliable out of those 2, and also the newer Audi A4 i hear they aren’t that reliable and it cost alot to maintain, but im not sure i never owned one but they seem pretty reliable with regular maintenance
They are reliable! From a dig the A4 is faster (when launch is used), off idle the Accord is faster. If comparing to this A4, the Accord should be quicker from a roll, but not by too much.
It depends, if you’re comparing it to the 2018 accord 1.5T or 2.0T, the 2.0T is way quicker in every way than the 2009-2016 A4, the 2018+ A4 it is very close with the accord
@@DMCarReviews well a 2006 a4 base engine was about the same speed as a 2006 altima 4cy base engine and the. Even when they switched to the 2.0t back then it was hard to outrun a 2007 altima with a cvt. They have the same 0-60 time despite the naturally aspirated low tq and slow take off of the cvt. Back then the a4 had a cvt for the base fwd models lol. I believe my friend had a 6spd auto connected to the 1.8 Quattro and my altima was wayy faster than that. Maybe it was broken?
i HOPE you get famous and rich from these. Best driver reviews on the internet. Thanks.
Thank you very much! I appreciate that.

At that price, I'd buy it if it drives!
@DMCarReviews I plan to buy it hopefully next week. Thanks for your advice.

That's about right! I think it's ~290hp. It's a really good engine, especially when paired with the right transmission.
I’m about to buy it that’s the reason I’m here 😂
Nice!
Same hahaha
I found this model with a manual transmission, is it a good buy at 12K?
I'd aim for 7-8k
@@DMCarReviews That is helpful, thanks!
Audi a4 2012 quattro with 150k mileage with 2 owners. Is it worth buying high mileage car.
If it is in good condition and has the service records, go for it.
@DMCarReviews it's a ex police car 2L petrol quattro, with 2 owners. I'm worried criminals knows car
wat route are you driving here looks dope
Back roads of Stafford.
on these cars, when launch is fully engaged, the rpms will settle at 2850 after about 2 ish seconds. you didn't quite let it get to full boost
It was in full boost

Sure!

I'll be back in nova soon, may have u drive my 2017 340i m sport
Cool! I'd be down
Saw one yesterday on way to work lol that thing Flies fun car

The 2.0 got much quicker when it went to the 258 tq number.
It's been that way since 2009
@@DMCarReviews ik they use 2 b slow af
@@occckid123 I don't think they were ever slow. Back in the early 2000s, Camry's did 9-10 seconds, so they A4's were much quicker than that.
