And God bless Mexico for taking in these Veterans and helping them. Remember to always thank the hand that feeds and helps you. If it weren’t for the country taking them in and deciding to help them out of the kindness of their hearts, these US Veterans will still be in a dark place.

@@truegileadoil8215you mean Mexico’s government got nothing to do with it? Well how about Mexico’s government not making it illegal to treat people with that alternative and not chasing the owner of the clinic/house and putting him in jail for “illegal practice “? Maybe even putting users in jail as well, Mexico understands that living along side and keeping as much as traditions they could from their ancestors is key to balanced both cultures, something US government never understood and freely allowed.

@truegileadoil8215 I think you’re th le dumb and incorrect one. Lol. Look at VGA’s reply and you will get your answer. You need to start thinking more profoundly and critically on how things work lmao. Yes, let’s thank MEXICO for helping out the US VETERANS and ALLOWING AND PERMITTING this wonderful clinic to operate in THEIR country. Get it now? I know it stings finding out how that some good deeds and help came from a corrupt foreign country and not your own, but that’s how it always has kinda of been. People leave their country because they find out they were used and tossed away like toilet paper, no support from their Government. What is there left to do? Find help elsewhere. So yes, even though it STINGS you (Could be that you’re racist and you don’t like the idea of Mexico doing more for your veterans than your own country..), but we HAVE to thank Mexico for permitting and allowing this wonderful treatment to continue. Again, I know it stings your pride, but together we can overcome it.

@@wackytoons88Latin Americans see the continent as one. The North and South America being their continents is an invention of the U.S. to isolate themselves from the rest. When you ask the average person living in the US which countries are located in North America they’ll always say the U.S. and Canada forgetting that Mexico is also part of it. That was the whole point, of that rhetoric, make people believe people of color aren’t in the North; however, the rest of the continent believes and treats the whole continent as one. No north, no south, just one.
The people is the US argues that because of the tectonic plates, etc. it should be treated as two continents. Can you imagine if we did that? India seats in its own tectonic plate, are we going to call India a different continent now and take it away from Asia?
Also, with your North and South retórica, then, where does Central America lies? North or South?
Yeah, that’s right! Stop saying that are two continents within ONE continent. If you continue to do that, the Olympic flag should have more rings then on it. Each ring represents each continent in the world and there’s only 5. You don’t get your own continent, U.S,, you just DON’T!!!!

I experimented with psychedelics for the uplifting feelings. Childhood trauma, being a SA victim, parental abuse which I can never resolve since that parent is deceased… I have been diagnosed with clinical depression with melancholic features. I’m short to anger and long to calm down. When I microdose shrooms or LSD, the difference is considerable. My husband and our friends notice I’m so much more optimistic, I’m more sociable, i have wiser and happier anecdotes than normal.
I can release any and all anger within a second while also remaining rational and calm. The hardwired “fight or flight effect” is numbed to what I’d consider a normal level.

As a walking zombie who is medicating day and night for chronic depression, pain that doesn’t allow me to function and let me do my daily routines I can testify how horrific is to live in a nightmare that never ends and a treatment that saves lives and is not legal in united states of America but legal in United States of México and a very low number of people in needs can have access makes me cry out loud of sadness knowing that people who give their lives to protect us and who deserve to be now protected and be treated as heroes but instead they are packed with so many toxic medications when there is proof that they can have a reset in their lives and for their families, I will gladly offer my life to save one of them.

“ it feels like we’ve been abandoned once we took the uniform off” Funny how I’ve never been a soldier of any country and yet it’s like I can really familiarize with it. Do not join the army or any army. It’s not worth your values and the risk of not only putting your life but your mental health at risk of death.

I am so glad the vets have a resource. We all know that unless a pharmaceutical company can make money, a treatment will be deemed illegal or unproven.
Here is something interesting and perhaps related. I had OCD, depression and anxiety my entire life. After I took chemo (at age 50) for Multiple Myeloma, my OCD and anxiety went away Seriously, it is gone. The drugs must have altered my brain. It is a relief!

After disclosing their strategy to combat drug addiction to the League of Nations, Mexico decriminalized drugs in 1939. Now a public health crisis, clinics were opened with treatment. It was a success. Shortly after, USA pharmaceuticals forced Mexico to abandon the program or face medicine shortages thru sanctions.

The simple reason why these vets can't get this treatment here in America is because the American Medical Association lobby would never allow it to happen. "Alternative treatments" would erode confidence in conventional medical treatments and that would be bad for business for the American Millionaire-Doctors Association.

Why is everything but some things are illegal here in the United States? We should probably find new ways to treat people with mental illness. And this treatment should be legal in our country.

It's not _that_ bad. Harmine, the main chemical in ayahuasca vine, are controlled substances in Australia and Canada, but it's perfectly legal here. And Kratom is also legal (except in a few states), but it's illegal in Poland.

No. So many very promising psychedelics & dissociatives have been stalled for approval in therapeutic use in America. The absurd “War on Drugs” and the juggernaut of Big Pharma’s lobby probably have a great deal to do with this.
