I enjoyed my one afternoon there. Ky plan was to see the river but I was unaware of how big the levee was. Funny thing though, three days later the film I was working on shot right there on the river in a quarry there. It was meant to be!
I found myself there for a last minute job lasting only three weeks and did this episode on one of my few days off, did all the research the night before, so I'm sure I missed a lot. That's the beautiful thing about going out to discover the world on a day trip, you take away what you can and use that information to learn more. Thank for the additional information, keep it coming and I'll be sure to add it if I ever make it back to that part of MS.
I only had one day off and went to Friars Point on a lark only because it was raining very hard in Clarksdale. I truly wish I had had more time to explore the area. I'll just have to plan on going back again!

Whats amazing the videos never go where area people live in our town...makes you wonder why film if you only gonna show a portion of the town
