Hi Alex! Thanks for your tutorials, very clear and goor details! I learn so much about this big world of flyes. I live in the south of Chile and enjoy your videos!!
Nice job. There are so many fly tying videos out there but yours is above them all. Fantastic camerawork, great narration, and length. Thanks for the effort of producing a well directed and shot video!
Great looking fly! Never seen anyone wrap the post onto the fly like that. And also whip finish around the post instead of the hook eye. Gonna have to give it a try.

Definitely the way to go on parachute flies! Appreciate the feedback. Let us know how it goes.
When your whip finishing the fly I've found it a lot easier to face the hook point up so the fly comes at a right angle to you
Good call! Thanks for the suggestion!
Would cutting the post before whip finishing make whip finishing easier?
Yup! Great example of always more to learn in fly tying. Realized this a few months ago. Haha. Good eyes!
The hackle part took me so long but other than that i did pretty well, I hate everything about hackle right now
The hackle is a pain for sure! Just comes with a lot of time and reps. Even with experience it can be a bit unruly at times. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Where should I get hackel from if I don't have a fly shop near me?
J Stockard online is usually our go to place for tying materials. 😎🤙🏽 Check out the Whiting 100 packs.
@@venturesflyco Is that a good amount of hackel? Or is that a small pack?
