This was such a good scene. This movie legit made Mysterio a serious threat. Considering how dangerous techs like deepfakes, holograms and VR can be. The idea of Mysterio is truly terrifying

Everything looks smaller obviously if you watch IMAX on the same screen .

3:10 I have always adored that aspect ratio change. Completely fooled myself and the audience into believing the illusion (and the big VFX set piece) was over for now.
This scene is all CG expect the part where you can see the faces.
People will act like this isn't one of the greatest live action Spider-Man moments of all time.
It is because the villians always shine more in these movies more than the weakest and dumbest Spider-Man

I'm not really interested by the newest spider-man franchise but this scene contains many excellent ideas and i like it a lot.
Also in the scene where the spider-mans pile up, am i right to believe that the lesser quality of the cgi is intentionnal to reflect a reference to matrix?
That scene with with all the Smith agents piling up like this on Neo? It is a great reference in this context.
But that scene is the only foolish part. The drones can simulate vr thing and can fire, but cant create anything..

I see some wired artifacts in the black part of the picture.
I can see it only when I see that in HDR.
For reference I am using galaxy s10 to watch this video.
If I turn off HDR and take brightness to the maximum I get similar looking picture minus artifacts in the black part of the picture. Can one explain what is going on?

Where you get 1:85 screen mode?? On blu-ray, 3d blu-ray and 4K blu-ray there is only 2:34 mode.

why the hdr looks like yellow or pale? I don't know if it will be a configuration problem of my tv. but I don't see how impressive hdr is, I've noticed that a normal 4k video without hdr looks much better than 4k with hdr

Apart from writing out his "Spider sense" I'm sure SpiderMan would know if he was actually moving! If he was 4 stories high or hundreds of meters I think he could notice the difference unless the tech can manipulate senses. I'm a lazy 35yr old weed/drunk and even if you blindfolded me then covered my eyes then played all this crap I'd still know If you were flipping me upside down or make ne think the ground flew by me in an instant! But I'm bitter! And old so don't listen!😣 I actually love Spidey 😢
Deceiving the senses is very easy and that is something that you do not control, if they blind you and deceive you into believing that they will throw you off the cliff with the wind blowing throughout your body and the right atmosphere, you will feel that really You are on the edge of a cliff even if you are in the living room of your house.

He is only able to deceive people with sight and hearing. The reason why Peter was easily fooled is because he only used those senses when he could have simply closed his eyes and use his spider senses (which rely on feeling air move around him, I think)

I think this scene broke my Sony x900h. I’m not sure if it was too intense for the TV to keep up with or what. Funny thing , the movie crashed when I watched it in theaters during the same scene.
