I would see this working if you have a more sensitive, progressive and evolved Capricorn who has a heart for people. The desire to love, provide for and protect is already ingrained in a Capricorn by nature(providing materially and in duty or obligation) but nature of the Cancer as a water sign which is deeply rooted in emotions (think about a placid vs a rough sea) will require emotional intelligence and vulnerability while being steadied by the earth nature in a Capricorn

I agree with the OP, Capricorns come across as rude, unconcerned by the feelings of others and career-obsessed. That is great, as you say it helps to "provide financially" for others... but it also means you have a blind spot to the feelings of others. Exactly! Caps are more sensitive then cancers we are the biggest softies in the world but if we don’t trust u, u will never see tht. Cancers are so selfish and cruel. They are so judgmental and lie so much! I tried so hard and adjusted my loner nature to be who the cancer needed and no appreciation, he was the workaholic, such a liar. I’m a pure Capricorn and I am not boring. My fun is not partying and clubs it’s traveling and trying new things. I'm a Capricorn and my first love was a cancer. We dated 7 years ago and broke up 5 years ago.
Got involved again 7 months ago and then broke it off; he was still somewhat involved in his recent ex.
Well about a month ago we both stumbled into the same place at the same time and he apologized for us having to cut it off again the way we did. We started hanging out again after that and have been hanging out basically every day the past 2 weeks. Tonight's the first night we don't BUT we hung out this morning so in a way we still have hung every day.

aries with moon cap best friend is aquarius moon cancer. My family calls me a "Borg" from the star trek universe, sometimes a vulcan, because I am very focused and realistic and exact. Don't get me wrong..... Cancerian don't want to make fake promises to whom they love. Cancers always feel the other one deserves more or you can say they want to match with capricorns with great ambitions and career focused approach. I find this whole Cancer loving and giving ordeal just a sham as I have a Cancer sister who’s hell to tolerate. I’m older now but for all of my 60+ years, my sister has caused grief for my entire family. I'm a cancer boy and broke up with a capricorn girl only after 2weeks because she wanted to focus on studies (She said). I admit I was too clingy, but I thought it was necessary. She should've told me instead of being so inconsiderate. The problem is that I think she's considerate, so I'm starting to doubt whether that's the real reason for the breakup. I sworn to not have a relationship until I graduated in uni. But, we were too compatible when we met (when we were normal and naive kids) and somehow both of us got tgt. Even till this day I couldn't believe I broke my chains and accepted a relationship. Now that we broke up, we both are just trying so hard to ignore each other. I feel really hurt everytime I try to ignore her and a dude who had a crush on her before our relationship can get close to her again, now that we broke up.
Even until today I'm distancing myself from her so that she can focus on her studies. Even in class it'll be awkward but I'm just killing myself inside trying to not look at her. I don't know how she feels, but I just want her to make the right choices. I don't want her to be considerate about me because that will affect her judgements. I'll just die alone if anything happens. It's like I want her back and I'll promise to give her space, but at the same time I'm scared that she might reject me and we can't even be friends anymore. If I'm ignoring her, then there's a huge chance she might be with the dude. Sometimes I feel that my confidence to take the plunge is the deciding factor of our relationship. But I'm just too worried. I tried soo hard to forget her, but as soon as I encountered events that induced memories and worries about her, it like climbing so high and then dropping down again. The gravity of emotions will keep me down and its so hard to get up again. I'm not going to forget this for the rest of my life. I guess dying single isn't that bad after all. I'm too tired to even look at other girls.
I just hope fate exists and that we were meant for each other. This will be the greatest cure to my heart. Sometimes I feel so angry that I'm such an emotional person and that I'm a boy with so much responsibility that there cannot be space for emotions. And the more I try to defy this part of me and toughen up, it comes back biting me and it really really breaks my heart.

Tifani Pitts I'm in a similar situation. My cap man got me pregnant and when o had a miscarriage we broke up and within 3 months he had moved on and got someone else pregnant and now they have a baby together. Did you and cap ever end up getting back together?
