Cancers love unconditionally like a mother loves her baby. They'll shower you with warmth, love, care, patience, understanding and everything till the time you deserve. Once you show that they mean nothing to you, they'll withdraw from your life. That doesn't mean that they're not hurt. They'll kill themselves each moment just to stay away from you untill they die or make it a die hard habit. They're extremely forgiving and reciprocate love the same way if somebody dare or actually bother to come back. I personally have very hard time loving people.

@@HardyManful sometimes, us cancers have a hard time explaining how hurt we are even though we know exactly WHY we're hurt because our conflicting nature. We are very assertive but at the same time we genuinely hate being cornered/confronted. i'm very sorry, but i think you struck a very sensitive chord that made her back away to this extent. i'm not saying that all of it is your fault because i don't know your relationship dynamics but oftentimes cancers return to their shells when their biggest and most vulnerable weaknesses are slighted, insulted, disregarded, belittled, or made fun of.
one thing i can tell you is that cancers need time to heal and regain self-confidence. we are not as intense and confident as scorpios. we get suffocated easily if we are pushed to the limit, most especially if our partners constantly do things that are against our values. if you want, try to let her breathe and listen to her without interruptions (but only after some time). if you really can't arrive to a common ground, then i think it's best to just cut off the relationship even though it hurts, rather than grow to be vindictive of each other.

I reckon cancers are definitely crabs but more like the hermit crabs. I’m developing a bond with one right now and after having hermit crabs as a pet when I was younger, it’s amazing how many physical signs that I’ve seen from my friend that resemble that of a hermit crab. Very shy to the point where it felt like I had to do a lot of waiting and gentle coercion to get her to be tempted to come out of the shell. Then it was little baby steps where she would gradually decide to put more of herself out side of the shell with the more she began to sense that I am trustworthy, sensitive and caring. But as soon as someone else would come over to us to get my attention, she’d immediately retreat back into her shell and wait until after they left when she’d eventually come out of her shell again. It was even in the way she moved her eyes. Same curiosity where the body was only slightly out of its shell but the eyes were acting out as more of a curious feeler to decide just how much she could take the risk.

I’m a Libra in a long on/off relationship with a wonderful cancer. My huge mistake was telling him from the day we met that my family lives in a different state so I’ll probably be moving at some point. Huge issue when it comes to his need for security. Yeah my cancer was so insecure and scared of opening up that he would trip and create prob. Hence he keeps several women to avoid getting to close. It was as he said beyond amazing. Too much so I guess. He now has 2 girls that just had his babies. But still says he needs me and comes to see me. Well did until I cut him off cuz I need a partner who is only committed to me. Wow! I am a Sun sag, but cancer sounds just like me too! I don't recall having ANY cancer in my chart, though. I'm going to have to do my chart again. I was looking at this because I am interested in and have been for over a year with someone, but we live too far away to do much about it. He has been very in tune with me in such a personal and vulnerable way that its almost scary. Its scary how well he can see right through me. He also talks very deeply about many subjects and has told me many personal things. You don't get my love trying to be the right person when you realize what I need, you'll never realize what I need, you get my love by being the right person when I am. I am not as loyal as I thought. I met a girl who was spiritually beyond perfect for me, but not physically what I wanted, and I didn't want to continue with her cos I was so in love with my beautiful ex who was once spiritually perfect for me but now is just as bad as the worst of them. I knew she was the one I wanted, my loyalty is to her, but I was disloyal cos I told that woman I was for her and only her and was trying to commit but I probably felt my ex even trying to say that, but it got to a point where I began to ramble about her, then feel strongly, then I acted on it and just knew I'd rather chase my terrible ex than have a perfect relationship with someone I'm not that attracted to only being loyal because she was spiritually what I desired and satisfactory in looks, and was on the thicker side of things lol. She's loving, and sexual, and down for anything, too down actually, but down so much you'd know like "wow, she's real love" you'd realize it.

I find the lip biting picture funny cos that's what I used to do to my ex, and a lot of girls after her, if I really am in love with you, more than just tryna fuck lol. That bottom lip pic go crazy tho, then right after that you get into holding onto things and I've been holding onto people even harder nowadays, idk if it's cos I tried loving them instead of the usual we meet and either i fw or don't, making it a lot harder to leave when you know you wanna love that person lol and it feels more like getting them or losing them depending on if you express your feelings asap and if you get them out period. Idk but even if I wasn't trying to love them, love alone is gonna make it harder to let go. Idk. Trying lol. Yuh, I can become introverted and I guess that's going into my shell, but the more I experience, the more I grow harder, so it becomes more of a outer shell I guess than me going in, I'd say I'm more of a crab than a turtle, turtle's are pretty much offenseless, crab's have pincer's. My emotions, a cancer thing, tends to make me the kind to hurt, so I'd have to say my sign needs pincer's, definitely not one to let go when I clutch someone too unless I end up severing something, hurting them good enough to the point of satisfaction or triumph, I'm not really a revenge person either so I'm liable to destroy them as a whole.

I'm a leo and I was trying to get with a cancer and he could not speak his feelings EVER. it was painful for me since I'm in your face obvious and he couldn't ever say any true deep feelings, only superficial. I just listened to a video of "the dark side of cancers " .... every comment was a woman hammering on their "cancer man " . There was a couple of points that i could relate to but most was way off . Soooooo....when I saw your video i had to listen . I have to admit you surprised me and won me over with your turtle analogy . I've been using that analogy for years to describe myself - I'm like a turtle ....I stay in my shell majority of the time....every so often I poke my head out of my shell and take a look around .... and most of the time I see the same ol shit and the same ol people so I just go back in my shell . Thank you. I put no stock in astrology but listening to you I may be a little more open ! Final thought -moody - no .... "dark places " - for me so true . I have to keep my mind occupied- work , music , work , sleeping , kids , grandkids , work , music ..... if I'm not careful I can slip into some very dark places - one of the things I cant stand about myself!! I definitely could care less about astrology cos I'd rather fw a person, but just listening to this video and a few others I mean it seems about right.
Idk where these people get this stuff lol, not sure if my exes been out here talking about it, if people have just watched my relationships when I was in them, or this is just from other people born under the sign and it's actually true lol. It has to come from some observed point tho.
I am definitely moody, July 9th Cancer lol if that means anything. Also I have a sun and moon in cancer so I don't think it's really two polar opposite sides that-- signs that would dull out my sun sign or something. If you have dark places, you're just literally escaping from them through other things. They still can resurface potentially. -shrugs- I think it's terrible not to attempt curing those dark places and idk constantly trying to escape them. It's like me missing my ex and turning on music. That pain won't go away, and me doing what I'm doing ain't really a solution although if realized could help that whole ex situation when she realizes what I do. It'd be better to directly approach these things I guess which they say we don't, like we go sideways as crabs, another reason why the turtle ain't that great, but I love the analogy too, idk I have a kind of feeling I've grown with thinking about the spiritual or energy or whatever like me singing those love songs as the words come out and are true and felt that she might somehow pop up or something, never works lol, but damn sure was a life lived(real) and an atom bomb i guess of a thought to tell anyone, especially her, so this is probably why i didn't directly approach idk. Like a song might come on and I'd love it, and sing it, and the words match the way I feel for her, you'd think she'd be reminded of me just hearing the song, especially if it's popular like she can't escape the feeling of us cos it's everywhere, kind of things that makes you believe she'll come back lol, idk. Make you feel like if you feel it in your heart and really live that life that magic would happen, but it doesn't. Not for me. I could just be a fool singing how I love her lol, no telling how I was to her, but I felt I loved her. She's definitely a dark spot, and I think I get distracted a lot from that somehow, just by things in the world, but she haunts me, that dark space is something you live with unless you fix it cos it becomes a emotion I guess, like it goes into our turtle shell, cancer shell whatever. In life you cannot know what will be, I didn't know she'd have me literally pained by her being away. That dark space can eat you alive anywhere at anytime, and it only gets worse. She had my clutching my heart damn near in tears and ready to fall to my knees and actually down on my knees just from the pain on the inside of what we have become, and how much she fulfils me and every other woman fails to. She made me realize how disappointing it is when you find someone who fits you and all the people who don't, at least I see it from a physical standpoint, I know I'm not perfect so I know if anything, she see's it from a spiritual standpoint, like I could just be the average guy, with no appeal to her whatsoever in that realm, and yeah that just better not be the case lol. It's so upsetting to have love in your heart and to look for it and see less than her. Everywhere you look, every time you look. It begins to make the feeling of her gone even worse. Outside of the fact that you want to love and she's the perfect person for it and even proved it because you were in a relationship before so you know how it goes. She is the darkest space in my soul. I couldn't occupy myself if I wanted to, and it could get like that, you have to stop occupying yourself as a solution and truly be emotional, be the self. Say I am in a dark space. I am occupying myself to cure it because it takes my mind elsewhere. That's where you start. There's no other place to begin.
All of those things you mentioned no longer are as pure as they are, because they become tainted with the fact you use them for an escape, that is the true nature of those situations. That dark space goes into your unconscious but effects your conscious. It shapes it into leading you to do things to resolve it. There is no true peace.
And because you use them as an escape you're likely to fail to see how tainted it is. No clue, if I can see it, you should be able to too. I've fallen short in life, so there's things I'm missing as well surely.
Don't be afraid of those dark places, they come because you feel. It could be love. Those dark places only come from emotion I'm sure. You may not like it about yourself, but someone else might be completely in love with it although they want better for you. It's not about being careful of slipping into dark places, then they follow you in life, it's about fixing them, you will notice others in the same situation and be able to help, potential outcome if you're not the only person that needs fixing. Those dark places symbolize a problem you're not solving correctly.

Just give him both. When in his alone time he wants you to care for him in a not aggressive manner. Basically don't talk too much. And don't even try to get his attention when he's angry. Patience and you will get your reward.
