I hate to break it to you but American society sucks! A lot of Americans are sad & depressed that's why they turn to illegal drugs as a way to escape reality! The drug epidemic & gun violence in the US are off the charts compared to these Southeast Asian countries! You will never hear any mass shooting or school shooting in the Philippines unlike in the US where gun violence is almost a daily occurrence!
