Mick was brilliant, he was just so completely ahead of his time and way too sophisticated for the pop music world, not unlike Bowie. Musician, sculptor, psychologist... No one knew what to make of his genius, but I love him so much.

Mick's unique fretless bass playing stemmed from his clarinet playing. He wrote bass lines that he would normally play on a clarinet, thus why his style is instantly identifiable.

If Mick did not exist we'd have to invent him. A terrible loss but what a great legacy.

Think the music is a jam/ outtake from Dails car/ Bauhouse period..

It is Mick's work with Peter Murphy for Dali's Car.

It's an early demo of the track "Dalis Car" that was done before he met Peter Murphy. You can hear it here, but it's changed a bit.
