I actually only recently found XG as well and totally agree with the TLC vibes, they def give off those girl group vibes like little mix or the pussycat dolls! I immediately became obsessed

I was just going to be a causal listener, but after listening to Shooting Star, and Left & Right I just had to stan them. Jurin & Chisa are my biases, but I love them all. Too much talent in one group.

shooting star actually got me into xg as well! i listened to mascara for a long time and i loved it, but this comeback just left me speechless. it’s really cool to see a totally different concept from them and it’s a big risk to take, but they slayed so hard with this one so im really close to stan rn.
this comeback is literally perfection I'm not even exaggerating. from the song to the mv to the choreo to the styling even in music shows, just flawless. all it needs is the attention it deserves

As for the writing question, Chancellor (Korean R&B Legend) wrote and composed LEFT RIGHT which explains why it's so good. (It's also him doing the male vocals in the track)

Wait… so you stan NCT and now you stan XG 😭 If we were hanging out together, we would so vibe! Honestly, I just got into XG when this comeback came out, but I haven’t had a group chokehold me INSTANTLY since Blackpink debuted. I’m actually glad I got into them now and not last year cuz now I have four EXCELLENT (and different, I might add) songs to play on repeat. The rappers flow so well, the vocalist be hitting the notes & the dancing is the most clean and crisp I have seen in a long time. I’m 100% part of the Alphaz (name of their fandom) & I’m so glad I get to enjoy them with you. ❤

Its crazy that you mention TLC vibes. If I remember correctly, in one of their interviews they said they listened to TLC growing up or that it is one of their inspirations.
Side note: An XG marathon would be pretty cool. Their dance vids and vocal performances are top tier.
