Great review. I actually got the T8 same frame and tire size. I'm 5'8 and felt that the 29" tire would be too big and would weigh more. Besides you get more travel with the 27.5. I do love the schwalbe tires, but purchased a schwalbe nobby nic 2.4/2.35 width for the rear tire. Nobby nics have better rolling resistance and the 2.4 width is a little lighter and is a great rear tire. I also converted to tubless and it took off about 0.8 lbs. I'm sure once I put the Nobby nic rear tire it will be about 1lbs less. Also swapped out the grips and put on ODI elite pro...they are awesome. And put on fooker pedals. I was going to get the T7 but I knew that down the road I'd be swapping my front and rear suspension so forked out the extra $500 for the better fox 34 and fox float suspension. But can't go wrong with either bike. Happy shredding!
