Wonderful display of pots - it really lifts the spirits to see all those lovely bulbs! I fed all my bulbs with liquid feed after flowering last year and it made a huge difference to the health of the plants this year.
Hi Hugh the camellia looks fantastic, I don't normally feed my bulbs until January time but I'll definitely give them a liquid feed after they have flowered this year. Bloody vine weevil, although the robin will love them.👌💪👍🙏
Hi Nick, yes, feed the bulbs especially if they're in pots. For bulbs frowning in the soil, a nice liquid feed after flowering followed by some nice top dressing with organic fertiliser. Have a great week there 😊👍🏻

Thanks Ali, jeepers hope snow melts quickly and not too much damage. Good thing about vine weevil targeting the certain groups of plants is that they tend to leave other alone 😬😬 Have a great week there whatever the weather brings 😊👍🏻
Your display is gorgeous Hugh, no wonder you are happy with it 😊 Do you leave all the bulbs in the pots all year and just liquid feed? What do you do with your hebe? I have been gifted a couple of purple ones and wondered if they would do will in pots? Gorgeous display. Take care 😊
Hi Bethan, yes everything here is grown in pots. Bulbs are liquid fed and will give a good show for 3-4 years this way, sometimes longer, and then they're planted out somewhere different. Hebes will do well in pots for a couple of years, once there's good initial compost used and they get some care and attention. When you get to year 4 or 5, they'll need a complete overhaul or planted out into soil. All the best there 😊👍🏻
