As someone who has been visiting the Philippines since 1989 and who was married to a Filipina here's my 2 Pesos worth: Many, not all, Filipino men lack a serious sense of commitment and responsibility. Their actions ie getting a girl pregnant and then leaving her carries no social responsibility that is enforced and any law is not enforced. Many men cannot provide for their family but they will still produce lots of children that he can neither feed, clothe or educate properly. This is a vicious circle of life and society and sons learn from their fathers.
The government could do much more but chooses not to, I have my own theory on this and as to why.
The lack of male education, good paying jobs, accountability for their actions, drunkenness, abuse the lack of a sense of responsibility, immaturity and the apathy of society all lead to Filipino men being a poor choice of husband.
Some foreigners are no better than Filipino men and many Filipinas have found that out, to their personal experience and cost.
Most foreigners are much old, more mature and financially stable, therefore, they make a better prospect as a boyfriend /husband that a Filipino man.

Everything you say is true. I was with a poor province girl, who had a baby from a boy who left her. I met her on a dating site, travelled 8 times to see her in 2019, courting her like crazy, accepted her family and baby as my own. Everything was so wonderful... Until our 2 year relationship was ruined when I found out she cheated on me with a local boy when I was back in California, and also she was on multiple dating sites, still searching, when she had a good man and provider already. I believe that she must of thought that I was going to leave her, as you say, for another girl, but I was 100% committed to her. I found out she was cheating on me, the same day I was going to propose marriage to her. This was to be the happiest day of my life, but the day ended up being the worst day of my life. Next time I will be very cautious of the girl I date.

@@jeh1333 Yes I did thank you. I forgave her, for what she had done... Then she asked me if we were ok again, and I said no darling, the trust has been broken. During our 2 year relationship, over time, I started noticing a change in her attitude toward me, but had no idea she had a secret local boyfriend. She denied her behavior all the way, until her best friends told me. So basically lying on top of cheating. Her friends said to me (after meeting them in person, on Negros with my GF and her family) Rob, your such a nice person, we just have to tell you what is really happening here. I commend them for being upfront with me, because both of them were risking their long term friendship to tell me so I wouldn't be hurt more than I was. Oh, and her Boyfriend? He ended up cheating on her, and left her for another girl. What comes around, goes around. I am ready to move on, and live in the Philippines now. This summer, I will be there.

I think one of the bad things with the dating site is the good Filipinas have to compete with bad ones, and the bad ones have better prospects because they know they're not really looking for an actual relationship, just looking for the sucker to send money so they can be and say whatever they need to, as where the good ones have to be honest and sincere. It's sad some people can be so irresponsible some people can be, if you know you have no job or income and won't be able to support a child, then they should keep their zipper up and stop ruining other people's lives.
As always a very informative video, keep them coming and I'll keep watching. You are such a sweet, kind, caring woman and deserving of a better life for you and your child, keep your faith and you'll get it. Unfortunately too many Filipinas realized enough was enough after they had already gotten pregnant or have children, making their lives even more complicated, maybe time to sit down and close the legs until a REAL man PROVES his love for her and that he will be there to take care of her through the good and the bad. Many males (Can't really call them men), especially one that would hit a woman or child, will say anything to a woman to get what he's looking for from her, knowing he doesn't mean a word of it, and once he gets what he was after he heads for the door to fool another woman. Looks like you were having a difficult time talking about a guy beating a woman or child, getting a little choked up, as though maybe this topic was a bit closer to home for you, if so I'm so sorry, take a deep breath and keep looking toward tomorrow and not yesterday. Remember when your world seems the darkest, the sun will always rise.

When ypu go actively looking for something you're bound to make " mistakes" along that journey and a foreign country isnt the place you wanna go making a string of mistakes that have the potential to end your life. Yes, it's survival. PI is a 3rd world country, meaning it's a poor country. Basic income in PI is inadequate to live comfortably. Therefore, girls find someone who has stable and adequate income which is mostly foreigners. Also the conversion rate of pesos versus usd is high. It also apply to US, rich men marry young girls, 10-15 years younger than them, its all about money! Lastly, in PI there are no child support law, spouse support and community property (husband & wife) law...

Well Said Sir! I can't find a single reason to disagree with you. Men everywhere tend to be most attracted to women whose age and features suggest peak fertility. For teen boys, this is a woman several years older than themselves.
For mid-20s men, it’s women their own age. For older men, it’s younger women, and the older the man, the greater the age difference he prefers when selecting a mate . Larry King, 25 years older than seventh wife, Shawn Southwick-King.

This the second video I've watched of this woman. I like her because she speaks the truth. I am a black man from the U.S. and I met a Fillipina woman on a social site online. She didn't even have a picture but what was written in her profile showed great character so it got my attention. After we started talking I realized she had many of the personality traits I had been looking for. Just as Fillipina woman don't want to date Fillipino men there are many foreigners who no longer have interest in women of there own countries. It's an unfortunate matter but it makes things better for those who honestly want to be in a truly nurturing relationship with a Fillipina and that goes both ways. Love is what two people do for each other in a fulfilling way. This why we love I believe. We talked online for more then 4 years through the pandemic which didn't allow any of us to travel but now I'm here with her and it's like we already know each other. It's the best relationship I've ever had so I hope soon we will both live I the U.S. together.

You are right. When I first arrived in the Philipoines (4/65) as a very young man in the Navy, I was stationed Shore duty here. Shortly before getting my first set of orders coming out of my rating school, I received the good old Dear John letrer from my high school sweetheart of all 4 years of high school. We had planned our marriage a couple years prior and talked about it all the time. But Vietnam got in the way causing me to join the Navy before getting drafted into the human fodder brigade wading through rice pattys. She could not understand this move. I being a Navy brat growing up totally understood the method behind my madness. Anyway, to cut this short (too late for that), my first year here I hit the bars in the redlight district every chance I got and could afford. I was taking out my anger of being dropped and replaced so quickly. My supvr was married to a Filipina and had been for about 15 years. He pulled me aside one day and said he was going to introduce me to a proper Filipina, saying I had no idea what a good Filipina was like, and what the Filipina culture was all about. We dated, ALWAYS with a chaperone for about 6-8 months. I may have sneaked a few kisses in the dark theater a few times, but that was about it. without dragging you through more history, we married a few months later. It did stop me from staying in the bars shortly after I decided she was the one for me.

For me this was a interesting video I am an American. My wife is Filipina we’ve been married for 38 years and of course by now we have dozens of Filipino friends and family members that are males. For me they are some of the best men I’ve ever met. I understand what you’re saying and I can say that there is a lot of truth when you look at the reasons someone looks for a partner in another country after all when I Filipino Marries a foreigner foreigner is also looking for a woman from another country.
There are good and bad men in every country there are men that have grown up a certain way and they don’t know any other life, it’s often generational they just do what their father did and they also do what their grandfather did into them it is OK. They need to break those chains.
I would say that Filipina should look at Filipino men and find one that has dreams that has goals that wants to bust out of poverty just like they do.
There are plenty of Filipinos that move abroad and find out they’re in the same poverty that they were in in the Philippines. Yes they have running water electricity no more NIPA hut what the poverty remains the same just because you have an apartment in the city doesn’t mean you’re i’m not struggling. Life in America and everywhere can be very hard people have cars because it’s necessary jobs often leave you waiting for the next paycheck to be able to buy food it’s the same problem just with a different make up.
Anyways good video and God bless

I get why some Filipinas want to meet a foreigner. My filipina girlfriend is in her late 30s with kids. She wanted to try her luck with something different when she met me. I liked the different perspective and appreciation she had for me that the women in my previous relationships did not have. I get why there are a lot of Filipinas looking for foreigners and visa versa. Remember to be careful about picking foreigners as well. Some foreign men also have the negative traits you described in Filipino men.
I think it’s easier to find someone like-minded when you are willing go beyond your own border for a relationship.
    Best wishes in your future.

Hi Petite. Another good video. Does that type of roof keep the rain out when it gets heavy rain? I know it's cultural for Filipino men to act this way and the culture continues to allow this to continue because these immature men are celebrated and rewarded for their terrible behavior. Eventually this behavior will catch up with them. For now, you and other filipinas just need to do what is best for you. There is nothing wrong with wanting a better life and a partner who is willing to think toward the future. Your king will come. Be patient and keep moving forward one step at a time.

Always refreshing and encouraging to listen to an honest Filipino perspective on known facts regarding the majority of Filipino men. Filipinas must also remember that the majority of foreign men are not much different when it comes to proper responsibility for the family, laziness, vices (womanizing, smoking, alcohol consumption, drugs, gambling, sexual addiction (pornography), profanity, verbal, psychological and physical abuse, lack of education, values and etiquette.) The majority of foreign men either do not believe in God, or at best, have a half-baked notion of the teachings and principles of the biblical Christ. They certainly do not study, follow, or lead a life representative of disciples. When America and the Philippines claim 80% of the population is Christian, yet the people live in constant sin, corruption, greed, vulgarness, disrespect of each other and have bad behavioral attitudes, it is no wonder why relationships do not develop properly and turn out well. My advice to an honest and good charactered Filipina is take your time and be thorough in selecting a foreign man. There are decent foreigners out there, you just have to vet them carefully. Foreign men and women will lie and deceive, just like Pinays and Pinoys. If you use basic common sense and do not lead with desperation, eventually you will find a decent mate worth the wait. Also, stop putting so much value on the beauty of physical characteristics as that typically leads to relationship issues. As long as a married couple focuses on the immediate family's essential needs and well-being, with the comprehension that working together in love for the family's greater good, and not selfish personal desires, will serve the relationship well, whether poor, middle class or wealthy. Good luck.

I agree with most of what you write, accept that I am not religious. Whether men believe in a god or not, their actions speak louder than their words. It amazes me that the view of Filipinas on foreign men is as positive as it is, while they get the left-overs. Good foreign men may be able to find a good wife back home as well. The picture we see on social media is very positive, but I doubt it is that way in reality.

@@GerbenWulff I agree with 100%. I am a US Naturalized citizen, been here almost 40 years. Most of the American men that I worked with are good men, very close to their family. Most of them are married to the high school sweat heart. Only I see my Filipina co-workers are the worst kind. They always boast about having a relationship with a Filipina as half age as them, they visit their country every year to have good times with those girls. Their wife are not good moral at all. Both have bad sides. Why these American men go and marry these left-over woman in Philippines? These woman have many men at the same time. I am in this UA-cam channel because one of my love one got trapped in a Filipina scammer. I am trying to understand this Filipina culture and figure out how I can rescue my own kid. But even here in the states there are a lot of men who abuse their partner, worry more about themselves instead of their partner or are just less than perfect. One Big difference between our countries is that (correct me if I'm wong) in the Philippines there's fewer/less accessible options/services/programs or monetary support for the mothers or pregnant women vs say the U.S. Example: Welfare, Wic, local non profit healthcare, church programs, temp & part time work, daycare, government cash cards etc etc.
