- If you’re thinking about having a destination wedding IN MEXICO, here’s everything that you need to know about planning a destination wedding! On October 16th, 2021 we got married at the Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. It was absolutely beautiful and in this video I share my experience with planning this wedding, tips and recommendations, the Facebook group that changed everything for me, actual footage from my wedding day, reception, and trying on my dress!

Thank you so much! For children over 3, we paid $10 and adults $20!

I had a long list of pros and cons! Royalton was more aligned with our budget and gave us more freedom with their wedding package.

What type of shoes did you wear for your beach ceremony? What material was your bridesmaids dresses?
I wore bridal sandals that I got from Amazon! I can link them for you in the description. The bridesmaids dresses was satin material! They started sweating quick during pictures so wouldn't recommend in heat lol.

Hello! I got them from a vendor here in Michigan through my wedding planner. But I know they have plenty like them on Etsy.com!
How was the price for the wedding planner? Expensive? And how were you charged (like hourly or is it a flat rate)?
A flat rate and it was very affordable compared to my previous rates. Almost $4K.

For the regular wedding stuff, yes. Anything else like their flight and stay, no we didn't!
Where you worried about hurricane season?
I was for a second but I did some research and hurricane season usually ends in October anyway. So, we were in the clear! lol
