Hello pancake dive! See below :) sana makatulong!! -------------------- TIPS ------------------------ 1. FIND A COMMUNITY To be honest, hindi okay yung mental/emotional health ko nung nag-rereview. Although by God's grace nakahanap ako ng community to spend my time with (Christian Bible Study). So yun ung FIRST, maghanap ka ng community na pwde ka magbelong. Better if hindi nga College friends or anything about accounting para hindi ka pressured - during that time I was blessed to meet a Christian Bible Study group na nakatulong talaga sakin magkaroon ng focus. 2. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR FEAR BUT DONT LET IT PARALYZE YOU Important na iacknowledge mo na mahirap ang CPA board exams pero KAYA MO TO IPASA kasi 4+ YEARS MO INARAL TO. OKAY LANG KABAHAN. Pero CONTROL YOUR FEARS. KAYA MO YAN KASI PUMASA KA NG BSA!!!! Minsan, kaba lang talaga kalaban sa review. Wag ka magpapaparalyze sa kaba. Fight the fear! Be brave! Yung mere fact na magtatake ka ng exam is BRAVERY and deserves to be congratulated regardless of the results. Pero I believe na KAYA MO YAN IPASA! Just do your best! 3. REVIEW FOR A HIGHER PURPOSE BEYOND THE TITLE THIRD, remember na nagrereview ka not just for the CPA Title - nagrereview ka para sa future na kapag haharap ka sa client, kaya mo bigyan ng justice yung title mo. What I mean is that sa practice natin as accountants, important na alam talaga natin yung theory to the point na experts tayo. So don't review just for the boards, review for the ACTUAL practice. 4. DON'T STOP YOUR LIFE FOR THE CPA BOARDS Yes, need mo magbigay ng time for it at pagpuyatan - pero dapat may rest days ka parin na maeempty yung mind mo. Do the things that you love if music kahit nood ka ng concert once a month ganun. For me kasi, nakaktanggal ng kaba kapag nareredirect yung mind ko like nagValorant ganun. 5. NEVER DWELL ON WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESULT Useless pag-isipan whether papasa ka or hindi. Sa review phase, just do your best to study as much as you can and master them. ^_^ ------------------- MANTRAS ----------------- 1. God holds my future, whether I pass or fail, my purpose goes beyond the CPA title. 2. Yung mere fact na pumasa ka sa BSA program at yung fact na nagaaral ka right now is enough assurance for me na kakayanin mo pumasa. ^_^ May God bless you! Let me know if may questions kapa :) If may topic na nahihirapan ka let me know so I can discuss it sa future vids! Prioritize ko. ^_^
Hello Shiella! Of course, yung books na ginagamit ko for review are: 1) Paul De Jesus AFAR 2) Soriano, Laco, Manual RFBT 3) Valix FAR 4) Tabag TAX 5) Cabrera & Cabrera MAS 6) Ngina and Others AUD [yung kay Sir Binaluyo maganda rin kasi naging prof ko siya solid magturo] 7) Laco AUDT Hope that helps! :)
Tbh, yung books na yan laging LAST in order na siya sa review. What I mean is that nagrerely muna ako sa review school materials ko before engaging the books. May God bless your review =)
Hello, yes I had a study leave pero not sure if allowed ako to disclose yung specific but lengthy siya enough to pass but not enough to finish the entire review. Pero kasi sa totoo lang, before kasi ako nagstudy leave, nagreview na ako previously sa school and nung undergrad (pero di ko rin natapos). Kaya nung last review ko before boards may working knowledge na ako ng concepts. :)
Congrats po. Anyway, can I ask like how do you allocate your time in studying? What time po kayo nagigising para magstudy? and what do you do during rest time po?
Hi Ms. Luzzia! Thank you po :) Before I share, gusto ko lang sabihin na yung study habits depende po siya per person. Important that you know yourself and when you're optimal in studying. Always choose yung oras na kaya mo magabsorb and hindi ka stressed masyado or pilit. Anyway, good question! Ito yung gumana for me. Bali, I study in the morning from 10 AM to 9 PM pero may "breaks" yan including lunch and dinner. I usually follow 2 types of breaks. Yung first type is yung "learning break" wherein around 15 mins siya in-between lessons para ma-"DIGEST" lang yung lessons. In other words, nagaaral ako as much as I can tapos magbreabreak lang to either digest or kapag sawa na ako magaral. For my rest time (9 PM Onwards), to be honest naglalaro ako ng Valorant from 9PM onwards or read then sleep. Pero minsan kasi kapag may hindi ako nagets na topic, ineextend ko aral ko until 12 AM but NOT ALWAYS. Important na may rest parin yung brain and fully understood yung topics. However, need mo rin ipractice gumising ng maaga within 1 month before the exam since early morning yung Boards. If may time balikan mo , pero if kulang time mo, unahin mo lang ung di mo talaga masyado master nung undergrad then afterwards ung mga topics na hindi mo gets (if may time pa). OTHER TIPS: 1. 3. Sa isang araw, study more than 1 subject. So tandem dapat yan like FAR and Tax, or Tax and MAS etc. Yung reason dito is for RETENTION. Kapag inaral mo yung two topics, pwde mo kasi siya irelate to one another misnan thus increasing retention. 4. Ang goal mo dapat sa pagaaral is to MASTER. Do what you can with what you have and leave the rest to God. God bless! :)
@@KuyaLemon ommmmmggg!! Thank you so much po. Actually 1 month palang ako nagrereview and masyado ko ata pinipilit tapusin lahat ng topic to the point na minsan aabutin ako ng 12midnight kahit di ko masyadong nagets basta matapos ko lang huhu. I aapply ko po ito from now on, thank you po talaga.

Read books. Not just any books, but yung difficult to understand. Like for me, I read philosophy, theology etc as a hobby kaya mas madali for me intindihin ung accounting. Actually good question to will make a video about it.
Hello Rafael, For me, hindi kailangan magaling sa math. Basic math lang sa accounting (addition, subtraction, multiply, divide etc.) as long as okay ka sa ganyan feasible naman. Ang mahirap sa accounting yung logic on how you will utilize basic math to get the answer. =) If magaling karin sa memorization and reading comprehension I think kaya mo excel sa Accounting. Also, logic, memorization, and reading + hardwork lagi for 4-5 years if mag BSA ka plus sa review kailangan hardwork lagi. Hindi enough ang talino lang. Hope that helps!
To be exact, PEMDAS yung common na ginagamit. Sa finance usually complex ung computations tho so case to case rin. Check mo syllabus mo :) If ever naman mahirapan ka sa isang topic feel free to comment the topic para maturo ko.
For me buy an author's book. Di maganda ung random testbank na walang explanations or solutions. I have online sources rin pero di ko pinagtitiwalaan masyado tbh
