Interski 2023 Levi - Retro Ski Race - Hungary

The Hungarian Interski Demo Team at the Retro Ski Race at the Interski 2023 Congress in Levi, Finnland.
A new fun feature of this year's Interski was the Retro Ski Race. All competitors raced in old, traditional skis and attire and it wasn't the fasters who won the race, but the team of two skiers, whose time was closest to each other. Between the time of Kati Egri (20,39 sec) and Laci Szabó (20,34 sec) the difference was only 0,05 seconds. With this amazing result they came first among all other nations. Unfortunately due to a minor decimal point error they were not called to stand on the podium, but only those who had a 0,5 second difference. But no worries, this did not take anything away from the fun!
Kati and Laci were members of the first Hungarian Demo Team in 1991 in St. Anton and were competing in their very same uniform from way back then.

A Hungarian Interski Demo Team a Retro Ski Race versenyen a finnországi Leviben rendezett 2023-as Interski Kongresszuson.
Új színfolt volt az Interski kongresszuson a Retro Ski Race. A versenyen régi, hagyományos felszereléssel kellett indulni és nem a leggyorsabb nyert, hanem a kétfős csapat tagjainak egymáshoz minél közelebbi futamidőt kell síelnie. Egri Kati (20,39 mp) és Szabó Laci (20,34 mp) menete között mindössze 5 századmásodperc volt a különbség, így minden más nemzetet megelőztek! Sajnos a dobogóra mégsem őket hívták fel, hanem azokat, akik 5 tizedre voltak egymástól. Sebaj, vidám, jó kis program volt!
Kati és Laci az első magyar demo csapat tagjai voltak 1991-ben St. Antonban, és a versenyen az akkori egyenruhájukat viselték újra.
