    "Experience is everything." - I love this quote.
    I want to add a little bit on to it.
    Robby Robinson and Mike O'Hearn don't just have experience and knowledge, they have that the true value of the market place calls "Evaluated Knowledge & Evaluated Experience."
    We know that what's worse than someone that has read about how to do an exercise wrong is applying that and getting the wrong experience that helps position themselves as an authority on the subject and have an opinion.
    Look for those that have Evaluated Knowledge & Evaluated Experience through years, decades of hard-smart work and tremendous results, awards and market + community recognition to not only back it up but support it as a legacy moving forward.
    Thank you Mike and PB Team, thank you Robby for these amazing golden nuggets and massive insights.

    I was just wondering about the stess thing. I'm relatively new and there are weeks ill go lighter to give my body a "rest". Focusing on longer pauses. I feel like my joints haven't quite caught up to my strength. I'm just a touch younger creepin on 40 so I'm feeling it a bit more. But this machine idea is definitely something I'm going to implement.

    Expanding on the point from in the video where it’s said “people don’t like hearing the truth in terms of how to train to be the best” another area that seems to be huge is the amount of work and consistency that goes into Mike’s dietary habits. If mona is cooking for him (as an example) there’s countless times in just videos alone where Mike asks how many ounces of steak are in his meal. Not to keep on rambling but I do not pity those who figure mike is not natural, it’s just plain and clear those are the people who most likely won’t be high achievers in just about anything. Keep working everyone!

  • @alanfeuer6337
    @alanfeuer6337 4 роки тому

    I agree. As an Army Vet machines were considered a day to rest the joints for a day and to maintain. We learned that free weights, dumbbells and barbells put a REAL strain on the muscles and forces each of us to CONTROL the weight in the concentric and the eccentric which results in REAL muscle growth and increase strength. I continue to push heavy but I lighten up a little in the squats and deadlifts. For those of us hitting sixty, 50 pounds of extra fat or 50 pounds of muscle each put extra unneeded strain on the joints. Therefore I continue to strive to become a lean mean fighting machine who can move around easily pain free!

    I believe all movements are in some way great. Free weights, machines, cables and callisthenics all have a place in a lifters training tool box. I also believe that one needs to change the exercises regularly so that the body does not adapt to the movement. Also, changing the reps, tempo and adding HIT techniques are all useful when done strategically. So I see this workout as good.

    • @mikebrown7143
      @mikebrown7143 2 роки тому

      Thats the thing. If you only look at a certain body part he trains then you'll see how he cycles through the years. Ive noticed this because I'm working on a lot of the tips he gives. Extensions machines and compound lifts with variations and speed adjustments. At first I would just add an exercise he was doing until I was staying late as hell with a million different exercises until I realized he does these in waves. Now the time fram I'm not totally sure of. I'm assuming a few months.
