People are vegan for a number of reasons such as animal welfare, environmental and health. Check out a doc like Cowspiracy for an idea. Why does he sound like a massive cnut? He acknowledges he mentioned it a number of times so it's not like he's oblivious. Does it intimidate you or something because your reaction seems extreme?
Invictus Misery you don't need to shop in a fancy health shop to eat a vegan diet any old supermarket will do. Meat products are generally more expensive than plant products. What do you mean if they wanted to "do something about it"?
