The Moog K200863 is perfect for this, the new collar is actually slightly larger for a 1/2 bolt BUT! since the nut is welded on the Axle side you have to drill the nut through and use a nut on the other side of it. Good info for anyone who wants to save the cost a new trackbar and fix this issue for a while. Good video.
I took and changed from that lock bolt and nut to a regular nut and bolt and bolted it up and welded the nut to that plate so it couldn’t move in the hole no more
most shy away from drop pitman as it puts a lot of strain on the box and frame. Also messes with geometry of the panhard rod. The drag link and the panhard need to pivot and travel together to avoid bad bump steer. by moving the drag link down you change the pivots and geometry.
I am going with 6" Clayton progressive rate from springs, 6" rear. I am going to be making my control arms and such. Then lots of cutting and re-configuring to fit 35's.
I think this is what I have to do to my WJ. I just rebuild the entire steering on it and after about 100 miles she loosened up and gave me death wobble. I think its that trac bar mount causing it.
I can't remember of hand. I feel it was metric and I upsized to a slightly larger english bolt. I drilled out the inner sleeve in the bushing to match.
No you are right. I got carried away filming. I couple weeks later I took it all apart, did ball joints, brakes and a few other things and held the axle up with some big stands to set it at ride height. This would be especially important with rubber bushing control arms as well. Good catch dude.

Yes i raised it up a bit with a custom mount to help keep it closer to same angle as steering tie rod.

did you also put a plate on the back hole?
No I didn't. It was not wallowed out. But I think I will when I lift it. Maybe a side plate too.
What thickness of steel did you use
1/8" and a thick washer on other side if I remember correctly.
How much lift are you putting on it ?? I've got a 2002 WJ AWD that I'd like to put a 4" lift on but having issues with the front drive shaft.

I just installed a REDTOP steering box last week. Made a big difference.
