What do you focus on in osu?

Discussing the different playstyles people choose to focus on in osu and providing a few tips and whatnot. I know there's a few things I've left out, such as medal hunters and.. i guess developers/staff/mods or whatever, but these can fit into the other ones i guess..

I like to try to have a balance between all of these. Although I would like to get better at accing faster patterns so that I can be better at dump maps.

As someone mentioned above, it show up for incomplete/failed score. This could shown on your or someone profile by installing osu!plus extension

I stopped working on my rank or pp, i mainly play graveyard maps, i just try to improve my skill sets, rn i am working on hybrid. And I personally dont like to compete because it can be very discouraging and makes me stressed so I play solo and like to share good scores in discords

I used to go for high keycount leaderboards but now I play other games besides osu so it's very casual. Sometimes I decide to try beginner ish tournaments despite being rusted as hell. (I try to staff tournaments as well but only tournaments I'm passionate about.)
I've been playing DP BMS and Pump it Up a ton.

Go online lobby --> play songs you cant pass --> play those maps solo on repeat for hours --> pass the map --> do more online (i used to play geometry dash)

I usually play for SS farming and accuracy and for me, the game is fun when i do this. but well, everyone plays for a different reason.

Very useful video. Nice idea showing the different stuff players focus on. This just goes on to show how diverse the o!m community is. Everyone enjoys the game their own way and that's most important when you're a part of the community. Banger video man 👍
