Hey Raf, nice to hear your change in attitude about Earts,,,I have the EGLP 610,,honey burst..(remember?)...anyways, I'll do mods on guitars if I think it will make them better,,,,although I like the pups and tuners,,,I'm thinking bout upgrades,,,but truthfully,,,I'm really content for now.....any guitar I can play for hours ,day after day,,,makes me happy......& that Tele is on my list....thx
Great video! I had to laugh after seeing five springs in the trem cavity. I have their 335 model and it's fantastic. I have my eye on this one at well.
Is this the same as Eart T-380? I ask because the Amazon page for T-380 lists the pickups as ceramic, whereas you mention this as having Alnico pickups.
@@AceBambam Everything is big compared to an Ibanez Wizard lol. But I have a 550 and an Axion Label and I don't feel weird at all.switching back and forth between my ibbys and Earts.
Better than the Musi you reviewed a while ago? I saw some UA-camrs saying the pickups in the Musi sound great, I think Philip M. didn't like the pickups on this Eart.
@@matthewstearle7395 I like the Sire t7 pickups for more pop/funk stuff but the Eart does gain better. I think for $200-$270 less the Eart is a better value imho.

@@RafsGearReviews BTW, do you have a chance to compare this one with the Harley Benton Fusion Series with HH pickups? They have an US warehouse now, so I am on the fence.

it's here and getting tweaked a bit. I have to say it sounds dark., pups look low to me, or better strings maybe ? Overall it's a beautiful guitar and if I were Fender or others I would be concerned.
@@RafsGearReviews THANK YOU. Disclosure, I'm a drummer but play and sing so it's been fun getting back into strings. I have GHS DG here and EB, will swap out asap and raise the pick ups a bit. I got the natural finish and it's flawless.
Eart guitars are the best guitars for the cash the industry has ever seen. Only my PRS S2 comes close in playability. Change the pickups and you have a serious player. I must stress that I'm speaking mostly of how well these guitars play and not how they sound before any upgrades.
Agreed. They are amazing and like you, coming from a guy with kiesels. In my case I even like the pickups. I was impressed that while they are clearly underwound and probably have low quality pole pieces, etc. they do have a rounded pleasant sound. They have a sound that while flawed, I kinda like. Raf convinced me of getting one and I ended up leaving the original pickups in. Go figure
I got this exact guitar for $250 today in a box on my front porch. My thoughts on it so far. 1. Keep your expectations reasonable and you will be very happy! 2. It's not a wolf in sheep's clothing. It doesn't look or feel like a $1000 instrument. It's feels like a well made guitar that is also a little too affordable for the quality. 3. The neck is unusual for someone that isn't used to a neck that changes shape as you slide towards the body... and that is fantastic. 4. The neck finishing is really really good, but the frets are not quite the "medium jumbo" you might be used to. 5. The body finish is perfect yet also seems a little thin. This is a guitar that will probably wear and relic wonderfully. 6. The tuners are cool looking but feel "meh".. 7. The tone and volume knobs feel excellent, the 3 way switch kinda sucks. Overall, I'd bet that if you put a set of locking tuners, better strings, and swap that 3 way for a higher quality one, maybe spend 150 bucks in total, this is a monster guitar for around $450 bucks. Zero regrets on the purchase. 😊
@@scottbryant9425 Well formed! I concur with many of your sentiments on it. I will say the neck feels much micer than most huitars sub $500. But yeah the upgrades are spot on. I have a diffetent one I just put hipshot locking tuners on and will be putting seymour duncan pickups on it. Can't wait.
04/26/2023: I bought one in white, and I love it. The only thing that I would have liked more would be rolled edges on neck wood. Also, the rounded end on fret wires actually hurt my first finger. They are too high. But, I can fix that with a jeweler's file myself.
@@federictella that's a tough one because one has a rosewood fretboard, which I prefer snd the other roasted maple fretboard. I'd give it to the Eart for being more oiled/less dry and the compound feels nice but it's very close. Overall I think the Tl380 is the better guitar but the Fusion is great too.
Well you can't simply discount your history as well as all the other histories in the comments that were negative of the guitars. The great thing about your other review is that it was negative and still it attracted a lot of positive reviews. So I think on balance given Amazon's return policy, you are still in decent shape. Although the possibility that some of the electronics can wear out in the future I don't find that to be much of a problem. What we're really looking at is are the frets good when you get the guitar. And it's sort of easy to replace a pickup or a jack or something like that in the future.
They should knock a few bucks off and sell the guitar without the pickups. At this price point, everybody's already thinking about replacing the pickups anyway.
Amazing review Raf
Thank you!
Excelente reseña como siempre. 👏👏👏

I own three Eart guitars and apart from the PU on two of them I love this brand, they ere keepers even at the additional cost of changing PU.
Agreed!
Yeah dude I just bought their 335 and put Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups in it and it’s a blues/classic rock monster
Just ordered the Pink version. Got the last one available on Amazon. ( at the time I ordered)

Good review; Eart is making some terrific guitars. Just can’t get enthused about that headstock…
