Scott Joplin is loved the world over for his incredible ragtime compositions. The Entertainer is one of his most enduring and popular pieces, usually taken at a steady pace in typical two-step style. This exciting arrangement picks up the pace a bit and adds in variation and stylistic flair, Sheet Music Boss style! Recommended for upper intermediate and advanced level pianists, this piece will be recognised easily and would serve as a great alternative to the original version for a concert performance!

My dad recorded me playing that easy version of The Entertainer back in the year 2000 and I'm glad he did! That was a long time ago but I've kept it on my computer for years! No one else has heard it until now, hope you enjoy! It's the earliest recording I have of me playing the piano. :) -Andrew
Wow Andrew. You accomplished more stuff than I do in that age.
*AND IS THAT BABY ANDREW PLAYING THE PIANO?? AWW THAT'S ADORABLE*
Today is good Friday especially watching you all day
Sheet Music Boss Russian
Sheet Music Boss y’all better make this russian
Sheet Music Boss THIS IS AMAZING
Scott Joplin was such a genius. He knew this song sounds so good so he named it "The Entertainer".
Piano must have been so hot back then lol
Being a piano man was also a ladies man.
I dunno, I literally can't stand the sound of this song, came to see if anyone else feels the same about it :D
Atriya Koller if by "i cant stand" you mean
Its fucking awesome
then me too
@@atriyakoller136 Say it isn't so!
Well uh thanks
You already had it nailed at 8 years old ??
Haha, I could play the easy version! And my dad got me to do SO many takes to get that! XD -Andrew
Alex no. just no.
poyoll278 That spoke to me on a personal level. In more ways than one.
Well, yeah. He's Sheet Music *Boss* for a reason.
I only put it into 2 speed and it sounds even more like the entertainer
This has got to be my Scott Joplin song; it's so light-hearted and jumpy!
Elijah Kornbau no shit😂
Its not meant to be this quick
generally people who are 'jumpy' aren't light-hearted, but I won't mention it :P
Maple Leaf Rag is amazing too
@@R_-qs4foI think they mean bouncy
This is a great friday.
Huh, it's Friday in my time too.
Nice.
TheNamesGames + Honestly not that great. TB disease is so annoying *cough cough*
The bright side is I don't need to go to school so it's worth it lol
Aw thats too bad. But, atleast no school.
TheNamesGames You: *Mumbling*
"This is a great friday."

That chromaticism is just amazing. Joplin was a genius who knew exactly when to put in those notes to sound so light-hearted and happy.
Well it's called the entertainer cuz of how entertaining the piece is
This is one of those pieces that I never really get tired of hearing... and I always love arrangements of this piece :) Well done!

Scott Joplin is someone from that past that I would love to meet. Just to shake his hand and tell him how much his music has spread.

Beautiful piece! Looking at Andrew playing it when he was just 8 is an amazing evidence that these days, even young children can become great masters!😊
Don't forget Mozart composing pieces at the age of 5!
This is an awesome arrangement of this...absolutely love it...I learned your version of chariots of fire and played it at my brother's wedding..long story short I couldn't walk two feet without someone balling into my shoulders lol..very cool
HA! Nice surprise!
first to see the surprise!
JamesETHD It says in the description, man.
I hear this every Wednesday, my grandfather plays it always on a Wednesday to commemorate his 60 year marriage, and this was the exact song that was played at his wedding, so it’s a common thing.
One of the greatest pieces of piano music written.
I like this because it takes the piece seriously, not as a musical joke like so many. Ragtime is an expansive genre with a lot of really good music. I get annoyed when people seem to make such a joke of it
im pretty sure that anyone that has learned the piano, has encountered this song in some shape or form... this brings back a lot of memories...
I have but the easy version
Aww this brings back memories of when my great grandmother would play this for me and i would play along side her before she passed away!
Estonia's 100 birthday is today and tomorrow. Estonia is now 100 years old.

Happy birthday from Norway! :)
I’ve had this on loop for around an hour and a half now. I freaking love this song!
This was named by Scott Joplin as the Entertainer because it really entertains the audience.
That version right at the end was the best thing ever!
NOW CAN YOU MAKE THIS RUS....
no, wait
The Entertainer in russian is Аниматор wich is Animator. But animator in russich is мультипликатор wich is
multiplier. Multiplier in Russich is множитель wich is Factor. The end.

Huh
@@aleryaniahmed5972 Seriously dude, Papagaio calls my nickname!
If you ever hear this banger at a bar, you know stuff is about to go down.
such a classical song and i absolutely love this version of it!
Truely entertaining
0:29 - 1:10 is my favorite part.
0:04 to 3:23 is my favourite personally
Today is my b-day and I love this song. Thank you Sheet Music Boss!
Better than the original :) also #restinpeacescottjoplin
The Entertainer is one of my favorite rag music by Scott Joplin. Nice video!
_"You know I ain't allowed to think."_
I watch it everyday because it makes me just happy :)
Andrew playing it when he was 8 was so cute.
Could you do Curb Your Enthusiasm theme please?
Nice touch at the end. Talent appears at a young age, evidently.
Some classics from a time ling before us
I used to play a more intense version of this piece and god it was fun
When this plays after a person says "you wanna tussle punk?" And then this song goes at a comedical speed while they beat the living shit out of eachother
This was.... Entertaining!
Yeah I know it's bad.
ScottySquatch I actually laughed for some reason.
@ScottySquatch - I would like to entertain the idea of telling more puns.

One day I am going to make a super boring piano music and name it "The Healthy Sleeping Pill"
You are the best piano player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this song. This is a Classic western bar fight scene
For some reason I read the title as “Joseph Stalin” on first glance
Awww hearing little andrew play is so cute.
Scott Joplin was probably like the 70s heavy metal God of the early 1900s.
OH THIS IS MY FAVOURITE!! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!

What a great way to start the week end
It looks hard until you try to play it...
Then it's impossible
I think it's not bad, it takes time though
The funny thing is, ironically I'm learning this song and im about a minute in
Good luck and it's worth it, it's so fun to play
Yeah, it's not as hard as it looks
I'm learning maple leaf rag too

Bro was destined to be a Pianist of the magnitude he is today.
WAIT.... Thats from Scott Joplin? I didn't know that... Huh

Anyone else feel like this sounds a bit like Steamboat Willie
Thanks be to God (and this channel) for bringing back this heavenly song😂
The author of this music, however, is not Joplin, as much has been redone here. But this music sounds amazing.
I like Joplin's version better
This is awesome! And a great surprise!
Even though it is normal 'entertainer', it sounds like Russian Entertainer as you arranged it; lol
One of my favorite songs, EVER.
No way is 8 year old Andrew better at piano than I am at 15
Truth hurts pal
That was after 3 years of lessons every week though XD
I am after 5 years of lessons and i am not 10% this good, guess i am practicing not too much xd
My heart melted when I saw the ending
Could you do Boku no Pico theme song next.?

Interesting, The Entertainer was the first song that I remember playing back when I took lessons. I must have been around 8 as well. Too bad I quit lessons after only a year of playing. This brings back memories, thank you SMB.
Can you make this russ... nevermind
Yes , I liked my own comment
Lost count of what day of quarantine it is but listening to this hoping to be entertained.
Can my comment be pinned because it's Friday?
This song was what played out of the ice cream truck that would always drive through my neighborhood growing up. Fond memories of spending the weekend at my grandma's house... I'm getting a bit misty-eyed.
But will it Russian?

Great piece! I remember writing this
I love the recording at the end! I'm currently learning piano and I love seeing what can be done with passion and a lot of hard work, just gives me some motivation, you know? I regret not starting sooner but hey, it's never too late, right? Anyways, thanks for doing what you're doing, guys. I appreciate you :)
A very good accomplishment!
