How well does the brightness compare to other flashlights? I have many Sofirn flashlights and use them for work everyday. Never had an issue other than some have overcomplicated UI
I just ordered one to try out. I was on their site buying other flashlights and figured what the heck? For about $35 my curiosity wouldn't let me not get one. Seems like it could be a good option for those on a really tight budget who still need a light on their home defense pistol. I imagine that the mounting and ergonomic interface will be revised eventually with customer/reviewer feedback, im not sure what degree of hands on testing Sofirn is actually able to do with real firearms.
@@thetexasgunvault Mine got delivered today, luckily it actually fits perfectly snug against the trigger guard of my TP9 SAmod2 so that's what it will live on while I test it out. (Which is very fitting being that it's my cheapest pistol) First impressions of the fit and finish is decent. Fit snuggly on the rail with the QD lever, no wiggle or slop. It does feel kinda cheaply, but I can't really quantify what exactly. Definitely not comparable feel or finishing to Streamlight, Holosun, or even Olight. It has a very floody beam, no really well defined hot spot but I don't feel like that's going to be an issue at all for indoor use. Definitely won't be using this light outdoors to punch through other sources of ambient light though, not nearly enough candela (which I couldn't actually find listed on their site anywhere strangely). Just my first thoughts after opening it and playing with it for 20 minutes or so, but as long as it doesn't grenade itself or just die under recoil immediately I really can't see it not being worth the cost.
I have a Sofirn headlamp and a couple hand held flashlights. They make some good lights for an affordable price. I especially love their D25LR headlamp. I don't know if I'd trust their weapon lights though.
I understand. Sometimes flashlight companies really need to make sure they test their lights under pressure before offering them for sale as weapon's light. They take so much more abuse under recoil.

It is pretty good. Not the brightest though.
Fair review, ergonomically it comes up short. Sad because price and performance are excellent.
I agree and thank you!
Brother, do you know some gun holster for this light or maybe know other flashlight with similar measurements
I do not. I would check out a few universal ones and see if they would work.

I agree and I hope this one works out for you.

Nice review, brother. Can you try remove the screws on top and use closer to the trigger, maybe Will help the mount problem.
I did try, but it won't go any further.
For $35 it’s worth a try.
I agree. Sometimes, you find a diamond in the rough.
I just got it for $22 free shipping on AE.
@@avgrim7729 what's AE?
Is it compatible with safariland holsters?
