Wow, there are some great recommendations here, & mostly of books new to me. Great video - thank you. I will track down 'Wild Horses', that one especially appeals to me, you have me very curious.
I got Maja Lunde's The History of Bees for a while now which I have not read and browsing her other novels I think it's interesting that she often has animals in her books. Your review of The Last Wild Horses reminds me of the Bee book and I look forward to reading it when I get home some time in the future.
I agree, the mystery of the cat prescribers should have been left a mystery. Too bad First Test isn't working for you, but it is difficult to follow up on a series. Five years instead of 15 sounds more reasonable for a time lapse.
Yeah, normally I want to know everything about a story, but the cat book would have been better with the mystery maintained! I'm almost finished with the 2nd book in the knight series I mentioned, and it hasn't gotten better. Oh well. Good to hear from you, John! I hope you're doing well.
100 points for your house for having a cat slumbering while recommending a cozy cat book! 😂❤
My cats support the channel, lol!
Travel is an excellent way to get more reading in!
Absolutely! I've traveled so much the past few months that I'm really looking forward to a slow winter at home. But I will miss my reading time!

Thanks for watching! Wild Horses was absolutely delightful, and a very interesting way to think about approaches to conserving single species.

Yes, I think she has a strong focus on the natural world, it seems. I really want to read more of her books!

Cat distribution system is at it again. 😹
The best!
