Lyrics
I crave more luxury disposables, a beautiful gym to have a heart attack in. Human life and burial is as important as survivors make it. Take my skin and make something. Burn the waste, leave my bones naked. You ate at your desk, life-wide pressure, stress-induced aneurysm. Dark spots cluster, a no-edged sword like an ATV on fire parked indoors. Human life and burial is as important as survivors make it. Take my skin and make something. Burn the waste, leave my bones naked. Everyone on my block who speaks English is drunk. Submit to the virus, un-bless yourself with luck. A rhizome of frayed nerves as the market bell sounds, dully wrapped in 20 suits stuffed with phoenix down. No church, no pews, no walls. Feedback drowns all of your calls. A curse on all our lips for the king who only sits. Deep breaths on a discount bus, ignore all else, put the price on us. The brain inside your phone knows how to get you home. Which of the three will you work for? Do you remember the name of the store? Rent space in a minimalist grid and dig for the treasures they hid. Which of the three will you pray for? Have you recalled the name of your lord? Tell the world how much you pay the man who prays for you. To Anne-Marie on my birthday, said she could help, but just sent money. Get an hour out of town, thought the state would turn around. Thought the job would work for you, thought the sky would still be blue. 23 by 84 by 28 turns to hope for peaceful death, evoked potential in droves. 23 by 84 by 28 turns to hope for peaceful death or at least two days off in a row.

Epitaph Records is an artist-first indie label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist, Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights helped launch the 90s punk explosion. Along the way, Epitaph has grown and evolved creatively while sticking to its mission of helping real artists make great recordings on their own terms.

The lyrics "hope for peaceful death or at least two days off in a row" hit hard.
The world has a lit bonfire and I'm no longer afraid to die.
Art Thoust a Darkmoon Blade, Diana?
Came because of the Dark Souls reference, stayed for the wonderful music.
I saved this to my Spotify and 2 weeks later i started playing ds2 and this song played during. It all came together
@@sirnastyrips hope you enjoyed your ds2 playthrough and if you’re playing Elden Ring I hope you love it!
I came to this band years ago for one pretty album cover. Stayed ever since :D
well, this is maybe one of the best songs they ever made
Definitely heavier than I expected but it works so well. So good.
Sitting here just listening and all of a sudden a light goes off in my head and I google "original casket dimensions." 23x84x28. Mind blown.
23 by 84 by 28 plays in my head all day long. TWIABP went nuts on this album, it really might be their best.
What does that saying mean? 23 by 84 by 28?
Also holy I haven’t listened to this band in ages but this shit SLAPS
@@oOXIED8Oo apparently, it's the size of a standard coffin.
duuude this album is so good. they released it towards the end of the year and it still somehow ended up my most played album.
This is the best song they've released in a really long time.
Praise the Sun! 🤲
This is wild, thats my old therapist Wataru as the actor. Love that man to death. Wow! This is incredible!
Interesting career path!
@CIA As opposed to figuratively being a one time thing
He looks like an older Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Praise the sun
this song is a beautiful reminder that the world isn't frightening and i'm happy to be alive
One of the best songs ive ever heard in my life
@Ashtray Comms what did they do to u
Lordran is a beautiful place and I am prepared to die
The production quality sounds dope as hell
Never expected a music video for this song. But its great!
Jesus it's been 4 years since always foreign, I'm glad they're back😍
four years??? good gracious
Loving this song and video, first I’ve ever heard from them
same. the band name was super memorable to me so i decided to check them out, very interesting sound
Definitely start with their earlier works and move forward from there.
You have an adventure coming your way if you check out their earlier work. My favorite album of theirs was Whenever, If Ever, but this new album is also growing on me quick. Everything TWIABP does is awesome.
@@oozePOP I’ll check that album out tomorrow when I go for a run. Thanks for the recommendation :)
This is so so good
🔥so good!
Loving this!
Wow that guitar work!
Finally
Dark Souls
Great track, great band
Hot damn, this is absolute fire.
Incredible
Damn, this song is super good, hyped for a new album.
Solid video, music, and acting!
Such a cool sound! I can't believe I haven't heard them before.
What a wild trip this band has been man 😂
Listen to their deer leap split. They didn't sound Like this at all.
This just keeps getting better as I keep listening.
4 year wait and back with a bang
Sounds so fresh, like a new subgenre to me
I dig it!
I love it
HUGE Mars Volta energy here and I’m all for it. Massive tune 👏
Dude i was thinkin the same thing
This song reminds me very much of The Sound of Animals Fighting, The Ocean and the Sun album.
I see some based comments here
Circa Survive + Mars Volta + Arcade Fire + Silversun Pickups = this song
In some of their other works I hear Explosions in the Sky and Sonic Youth
I want a live session of this song!!!!
Favorite song yet besides getting sodas. I've been waiting for so long!!
they are so underrated
Swear this song has been stuck in my head all day
I ballroom dance to this song by myself in my living room.
Ahhhhh
Great get on with it !
I’m a simple man. I see a Dark Souls reference and I smash like
An unexpected surprise. The sound is mature, inviting, and makes me hyped for this new album! Cant wait!
I wish this could be true for when they perform live. But they NEED a new drummer because he’s so fucking loud you can’t hear what any of the other bandmates do except the bass. Literally 0 dynamics.
Never heard of this band before. Great discovery
This is a shift but not a bad one. I dig it.
It's like Baroness and Mastodons chill cousin.
This is both a wonderful composition and production ⛳
Lindíssimo
i cant believe this,
can't wait for the shows with bent knee!!!
Great💓😉
can I coll you z
Aaaa pq eles são tão perfeito ✋🤧😔❤️🛐
né
This track slaps. Am I nuts or does anyone else hear Circa Survive by way of Mars Volta? So many cool layers and textures happening and I'm here for it 🔥
I was also thinking Circa Survive - I'm here for it!
Definitely some Circa Survive.
I'd say it sounds much more like The Sound of Animals Fighting than Circa Survive - The Ocean and the Sun in particular.
this title sounds like a dark souls reference
Beautiful abstract sounds! (Ghost vocals?) Love it!
you should do a split album with and you know us by the trail of dead
Is that a Begotten reference?
;)
I Digz it with a big ass snow shovel!
Fuck. Yes.
Excellent. Cave In, Castor, Centaur, Coheed vibes. I'm with it. A return to form for the band imo. Last one was kinda weak but this one's got it.
💔💔💔
I just want to fight Ornstein & Smough
Their sound really has matured a lot, this is darker and heavier like the later albums from the band "the brand new" but also very progressive with the sorta math-rock undertones
Weird but good...I think....🤔
Teddy is that you?
sounds circa survive af. Dis cool dis cool. Especially the chorus
Fuck I never even knew this was a song. Fucking A!!! Don't you dare go hollow
Dance Volta Survive
What a long band name lol
I wonder how many people recognize "Invading the World of the Guilty" is a Darkmoon reference lol
thank you random quin chatter
there's no way that doesn't say "inbading" @0:11
Nice unexpected 30''.
This band is legit. They are emo legends. Please do not slander them!
This is not emo
@@moriyokiri3229 All their albums before this are.
Slience is goden
Sometimes benarh the moiss let the dust setill down
5 piece not 7 piece??
they've been a 5 piece for a while now, since dyl and tyler left in 2018/19
"A curse on all our lips for the king who only sits" are we talking about who I think we're talking about ;)
Who?
ATDI vibes anyone?
Slightly Mars Volta too in ways but i do enjoy the track though.
Rush vibes
More of the Volta
The Sound of Animals Fighting
The World is Twinkly Winkly and I Am No Longer Hanging Out With Shitty Greg
The world was such a horrible place before hearing this
Did you hack into my pc dude? Every time I check out new vids that interest me you are among the top comments lol
@@treesfallshort1650 LMAOOOO 😂😂 Yeah I'm everywhere
@@treesfallshort1650 Also I like your profile picture
@@JuanCruzFabi YOU ARE ALIVE IN EVERY VIDEO YOU WATCH xD
@@treesfallshort1650 Lmao Is that a Silverstein reference?
e
Dude looks like a strung out Elon!
Circa Survivish
I thought the same! But like... filtered through Frances the Mute.
yeah the guitar riff near the start reminds me of in the morning and amazing
Am I the only one that misses etf on this channel
Not at all, those were the days for sure.
Seems so long ago a simpler time
Lmfaoooo, been at least 13 years since that band was worth mentioning. They definitely did hairmetalcore better than anyone else tho, save for maaaaaybe Blessed By a Broken Heart.
@@kage6613 etf is still good one for the money is my jam
@@sethmarshall3123 eh I don't like their new radio rock style but if it's your jam go off. I like the old stuff with Monte's hair metal licks and epic solos over chugga chugga breakdowns. I even liked the emo rock ballads like Ashley. But once they started writing songs like "City of Sin" I was out, not for me.
That band name tho🤣🤣🤣
Guess they couldn't think of a longer name for a band?
This is like the worst parts of Harmlessness expanded into a song. The shreddery is purposeless. It’s bad.
@Ashtray Comms yeah you phrased it the right way. way, way overproduced. weirdly corny
The sound of a gutted band with nowhere to go. Meaningless and meandering, milking ex-bandmates they'll never outgrow.
Finally someone with sense
This music is bad
OK boomer go listen to Quiet Riot then
