Thanks! Saved me from a service call as I had the same issue with the app showing windows not closed when they were and button calibration not solving the issue.
Glad it helped
Was a massive help thank you very much!
You're welcome! Glad it helped!.
I wish they would let you use this to change your tire size. I currently have a set of 20's for winter and a set of 21's for summer but it's super annoying that I need to schedule service with Rivian to simply tell the computer which tires I have.
Great point! 100% agree. They need to benchmark Tesla here and allow wheel/tire change in the UI.
Any tricks to exiting the RIDE menu?
Thanks for the video. Good information.
You're very welcome. Yes, just go into settings and turn off service mode.
@@ElectrifiedOutdoors Ok, thanks. Simple enough. I appreciate you explaining this menu. Good to know about.
Does anyone know what's under the "tools" menu? Man I wish I could program a couple other key cards.
Does it allow u to see diagnostic codes in the selected module?
Good question! possibly...I have not had the opportunity to test that. If it doesn't allow you to see the codes, it will at least tell you which module is faulting which I think is good.
What a wonderful information, do you know if it has any option like software reinstall? I’m working on fixing a salvage one and we need to install a new HVB I guess we need to do reinstall the software to learn the new battery like in Teslas.
Not that I am aware of. That function likely requires a Rivian diagnostic connection.
hey, I am trying to figure out how many amps the dc-dc converter puts out to the 12v system, would that info be in there?
Great question! I'm not sure on that. I'd have to go back into the service mode. If memory serves me correctly, it shows the current draw of the entire vehicle. I just can't recall if it shows the DC to DC inverter output.
Спасибо.
Добро пожаловать
It shows me a message service vehicle to change drive modes. How can i service it? Tried accessing this menu and didn't see any reset function.
Yes, that message most likely is an issue with the air suspension in the Rivian. You will likely need to schedule a service appointment to have that addressed. You can of course try a reset procedure to see if that fixes it. To perform a reset hold down the hazard flasher button and the far left button on the steering wheel at the same time and keep them held down until the truck reboots. Do not repeat this procedure unless more than 1 hour has passed.
I wish it gave more info on the SOH of the HV Battery. Mine shows 94% @ 28k which seems to be higher-than-average degradation. Fast charged
Yes never can have too much info on the battery. 6% after 28,000 miles seems normal based on my years of owning EVs. Something like recurrent will tell you how yours stacks up against others on the platform.
They should provide a read only version of the ride menu without passcode 🤷♂️
Great idea! Agree!
Is it not all available in the API? Something like home assistant can expose and show it. A lot of it is maybe not all but I have it available on my echo show 15
i have the same window sensor issue on my app
Did you fix it through ride menu?
@@gantal9393 yes. followed exactly what was in the video
