Got my Fleece lift pump this spring for my 01 from ya'll. Came with everything, easy to install and works great. I like not hearing it and not worrying about it freezing up during our -30 degree days.
I installed one of these in my 2012 LML GMC when the stock originally installed sending unit was having issues. So far so good the GMC dealer mechanic who did the install was amazed at the ease of install and the quality of the unit. I figure it may also extend the life of the weak CP 4 fuel pump. On my last long trip pulling travel trailer the truck did get slightly less fuel economy than previously on that trip. Over all I recommend this Sureflow unit. Throttle response is good and there is no noise from the pump.
I got Fleece intank with twin gear motor pumps at idle 21 lbs hard pulling with 34’ fithwheel 19lbs. The great thing is one pump plugs into factory harness and the other pump has a shielded wire to goes to a key on in fuse box it has a furs and relay so if one pump goes out you still have a back up pump and one pump will put out 10-11 lbs of fuel pressure it’s kinda pricey but you get what you pay for ant life time warranty.
I was just thinking about how to resolve my quarter tank issues with my 52 gallon S&B tank and Fass lift pump. This is a great design, can't wait to grab one and get the full range of my tank.
I’ve run into the issue of dealing with someone else’s very old lift pump install and they have modified the what looks like stock sending unit. Making my life hell installing the new fass pump. I think this is my solution
My mechanic told me my raptor lift pump is going bad and I need a new lift pump. Is this a lift pump or do I need a airdog or fass. I heard this will replace the need of needing to run a airdog or fass. But how cone this doesn't have a filter or water separator.
This does not have a pump, it is just a sending unit upgrade. If you are having a problem with your Raptor you will need to contact Airdog for possible warranty or buy a new pump.
Stock truck typically do not have ¼ tank issues, it relates back to the use of a draw straw and improper install of that or improper modification of the sending unit.
@@thoroughbreddiesel I think what happened with my draw straw is they set the tank on the ground and then measured. So then when they strapped it back up there the 1/4" gap turned into probably a 1" gap looking at how my tank is sagging. I'm going to take the bed off and fix it myself.
What happens if the sending unit is bad I just buy a fass pump from you store thinking the a have a bad fuel transfer pump because my filter housing is empty I install the new fass pump and still nothing any chance the sending unit is bad?
Still a, little confused. I have 2002 Dodge 2500 diesel. Years ago they did in tank conversion. I wasn't happy with so a year later I had a FASS HD system put in. 3/8ths fuel line. They also put in a sump with draw straw. My fuel gauge just stop working. I need to replace my sending unit, and no my return line does not go to fuel filler neck. Do I need to get entire Fleece send unit or can I just replace to float sending unit ? Will the Fleece sureflow handle 3/8 lines ??
The Sureflow will handle 3/8 lines with no problem, and now your return will be to the Sureflow as well. You will only need to block off your sump ports.
Can someone tell me if I’ve already installed a FASS TSS 95 into my 04 Cummins, and also cut into the filler neck for the FASS return, will I need any additional fuel line or hardware with this Sureflo unit to reroute my return line back to the Sureflo and remove it from the filler neck? Obviously I’ll need to repair the filler neck but aside from that, will I need any additional fuel line or hardware to hook up to the Sureflo? Thanks for any clarification.
That’s one of the great things about the Sureflow! If you don’t want to return to the bucket you don’t have to! You can leave the return to the neck if you want to.
Thoroughbred, I was under the impression they part of my 1/4 tank issue was because I was returning fuel through the filler neck instead of the bowl? I was told in one of your videos that the FASS empties the fuel bowl so fast, that it causes the 1/4 tank issue and the fuel should really be returned to the fuel bowl.
Has anyone had issues with 1/4 tank syndrome with one installed? My 2001 dodge just had on installed with a FASS 165 pump, I lost fuel pressure three times over a couple days showing 1/4 tank….truck actually died while driving to the fuel station….I drove final 1/2 mile with zero pressure showing on gauge. Filled the tank, took 26 gallons ( of 32). Turned key, instant pressure on gauge.Ran great.Next tank , same thing.Showed no pressure, truck took 24 gallons. Havent had a chance to remove unit yet, anyone have this issue?or know what’s happening?

A really nice feature would be a heater with automatic circulation upon freezing temps ……..
I was just thinking about how to resolve my quarter tank issues with my 52 gallon S&B tank and Fass lift pump. This is a great design, can't wait to grab one and get the full range of my tank.
Did this work? I have the same setup
I’ve run into the issue of dealing with someone else’s very old lift pump install and they have modified the what looks like stock sending unit. Making my life hell installing the new fass pump. I think this is my solution
Great idea!

Do you sell the flex lines coming off the sending unit? I went to your website but did not see them.
We do not sell the lines coming from the sending unit in stock form. We could get you the fitting to fabricate the lines however.
so do stock trucks have the 1/4 tank issue too? Or is this only people that install a fass or airdog that have ths problem?
Stock truck typically do not have ¼ tank issues, it relates back to the use of a draw straw and improper install of that or improper modification of the sending unit.

Does it remove air from the fuel?
Dont have to worry about aeration, due to it being in the tank.....apparently

Would this work for a 98 12 valve
Yes, they offer one for the 12 valves as well.

Phone... pick it up... dial their number... speak directly to somebody.

Do you have a unit/resolution for the 99 power stroke fords that have similar issues?
