I've lost track of how many times I have watched this because even though I have FOUR planners in hand, I still feel like something is missing..... loving all the tips and ideas here, Erin, super fun to watch and helpful at the same time 🤗
Yay, I am so excited for you and that hobo cat cover! I have been counting down to watch this video and see what your line up is. I cant wait to start the new year and decorate my cousin with you. Take care, Dani
Oh my goodness. I love your lineup! I currently have 2 weeks, 2 cousins, 1 pocket (Avec?). I won’t use them all and yet watching this made me just buy the same cat cover!! DANG IT!!!
I have loved all things stationary since childhood. I cannot pass up an aisle or store with it or pens. Love a good pen & pretty paper! Your channel showed up in my feed this morning & I'm now a subscriber. Loved this video amd hearing your ideas for 2024. I have a pile o books myself & need to sit down with them to think it through.
I have tried so many different budget planners for my weekly bills but I’ve found using the Hobonichi day free A6 works the best for me. I can decorate it to make it more fun to pay bills 😂
OMG. I go through every stationery aisle - even if I KNOW they won't have anything I would be willing to use. I just CAN'T pass it by! And I'm doing the Hobonichi 5 Year book this year and I love the format of the one you got. I love the thought of the questions! I like the journal in theory but I was thinking WHAT WILL I WRITE EVERY DAY? The question a day is BRILLIANT!!!
I'm excited to consolidate my journaling and planning into the Hobonichi Cousin Avec for 2024. I use a straight month at a glance type planner for bills...etc. $10 on amazon. I can see the whole month quickly and it has a notes area for anything I need. I've never been good at sticking with a theme in my planners. I just decorate with are things that make me happy. Sometimes that's Kawaii, sometimes it's floral, sometimes it's vintage. I don't like feeling locked into one shop or theme. I love watching planners that do keep to a theme, but it just isn't for me personally. I am just a hodge podge mess with too many interests to narrow it down :)
Oh goodness. Next year I'm going to try juggling multiple planners and I'm a little nervous. But here's what I have. I have a 7x9 sadies stickers coil planner for memory keeping/planning, a twines and paper weekbook on order for weekly planning and my to do list and on the back pages photo journaling, a papertessdesigns weekly on the way for health and wellness tracking, mini happy planner inserts on the way for budgeting/finance, and I also have an A5 complete vertical from aura estelle x annie plans that I'm not quite sure what I'll use it for. It's quite the stack. At least for me!
Funny thing, I actually was not going to get the Weeks... until I saw the cats. And yeah, I now have a Weeks book. Trying to figure out how to incorporate it into my life. I am just a one-book girl (more than one is just too much and I don't like to juggle them...) I have the Avec system for 2024, which I loooooove! The Cousin is pretty much my brain on paper. I love it and can fit everything I need into it: work, school, family, house, etc. It's such a great book :) Nice line up, Erin! Thanks for sharing and I will be watching to see how 2024 unfolds for you!! 🙂
I use the Erin Condren monthly planner with stickers from Erika Life Vlogs. This gives me the most flexibility to set the pages up how I want them using the stickers.
I’m def going to buy that 5 year question a day today. I have decided to only use one planner in 2024 the b6 from SI. It’s just to much and a job for me to tend to several planners. Also tcmc was how I found you but it is a lot
I have been using everydollar for a couple of years now and I make a quick monthly balance by hand. I have been using weekly envelopes for a while and I want to pick that up again. Then again I do not track every single thing I buy, just the total amount. I want basically everything in one planner, I have my eyes set on the A5 HON. I'm new at Hobonichi, so I took an old bullet journal to make the same layout and try it out. Now I'm gonna start documenting something to see if the 5 jaar planner would be a nice thing for me.
Budget mom is a bit overwhelming but I use her ideas for the paycheck breakdown without the cash envelopes because I can’t do those it is a fail for us. I decided to use the day free from Hobonichi for our budget in 2024. I do think I must be excessive in our number of bills and spending because I can’t find a budget planner with enough lines for either one. That’s why I decided to just use the notes pages in the day free next year and see if I can be more successful in the budgeting area
Only a few minutes in but I wanted to say this before I forget… 😊Have you looked at the Happy Planner’s (since I know you love that brand too) or Erin Condren’s budget planner (there are various sizes)? I use the EC petite budget planner I got off of Amazon years ago (the undated version) that I find works for me and it also has a debt section in it
I'm also torn - I bought the HON A5 with the botanicals on the front and it's the most gorgeous planner ever. I have it in the clear cover and I was wondering about the chonk and was thinking that I would use only pen and highlighters in it to minimize that. BUT that won't satisfy me for the year. I'm sure between now and the start of the year I can come up with something to use it for. ;-)
I use the organized money she’s in here and has an Etsy shop Alaina is great mine is the big size but comes in classic as well and it’s an undated monthly weekly disc planner - I was trying to see how to get away from and moving in to cousin I just don’t think it will work she sells a 12 month option among others - I have used it this will be my third year ❤
I am planning on using the Sterling ink undated yearly planner, because I think the Hobonichi cousin daily pages sometimes are not enough and sometimes is too much. And I'm like the pages are dated I can't use half a page one day and one and a half page one day so that the dates are not matching with the date I'm writing 😅 I'm also planning on using the Sterling ink week sized notebook and have already drawn all the weeks of the year like the Hobonichi weeks pages with a meal tracking spread on every other page 😄 Then I will also have a pocket sized notebook for my small purse. And a digital planner and a bullet journal for work 🤣
Funny you mention the colour of the pages….i always preferred white but finding the white hardcovers are just not right 😅. Enjoyed this video, I had to stop watching for a while because I’m tired of the cousin and weeks using TCMC lol
Congratulations on trying to get on track and being optimistic about your financial freedom journey. I’m also on my journey. (Feels like it’s been forever though, dang student loans! 😖) But anyway, check out the UA-camr “Dear Debt”. I have also felt overwhelmed by some methods of budgeting but I enjoyed her breakdown and I love seeing everything on one sheet of paper. Plain, simple and manageable. For me, the constant flipping in a notebook for budgeting was too much stress for me especially as it dealt with a stressful topic. But, good luck ~~!
Thank you! It’s definitely been a long road for us and definitely feeling like forever. I will definitely check them out! And yes I feel super overwhelmed at times because it is a tough thing already. I need to streamline it and also it needs to be functional and something I can be creative with to keep me excited about a not so exciting thing lol 😝
I am so excited for 2024 and love seeing people’s lineups for the year. I adore that cover, so cute. I went for the A5 Black Gingham HON this year as it is the same size as the cousin and has a paper cover, so basically a black cousin. I am planning on using the daily pages as my morning pages (or should that be morning page). I will be using the A5 Aura Estelle Complete Planner as my memory keeping/journaling book as I like the layout better with two blank grid pages between each vertical weekly, so it can keep everything together, and some extra pages at the back if I need them.
You could actually make the 5 year Hobonichi planner to a 10 year planner. Just make the same lines on the other side and you'll have another 5 years. maybe that will not be so intimidated?
Yay! I love your videos and always get excited when you post!!
Thank you so much! 💕
I've lost track of how many times I have watched this because even though I have FOUR planners in hand, I still feel like something is missing..... loving all the tips and ideas here, Erin, super fun to watch and helpful at the same time 🤗
Lol Amy there is always a need for more 😂💕 😜
Yay, I am so excited for you and that hobo cat cover! I have been counting down to watch this video and see what your line up is. I cant wait to start the new year and decorate my cousin with you. Take care, Dani
I’m in love 😻 very happy I went for it.
I’m so excited for 2024. Thank you me too! 💕💕
I'm so excited to see how you're going to use/decorate all of these!❤❤❤
Me too! I have some ideas but nothing final yet 💕😃
Yayyyyy! I am so ready for 2024!
Me too! This has been a great year but I’m ready for some fresh new planners 😍😍🙌🏻
Living vicariously for all of your Hobonichi cat gear.
Would love to see a set up video of your weeks cover; you are the first person I’ve seen use a TN cover to house multiple weeks….genius!👍🏻
Stayed tuned I’ll be doing my 2024 set up in the next few weeks. 💕💕
Oh my goodness. I love your lineup! I currently have 2 weeks, 2 cousins, 1 pocket (Avec?). I won’t use them all and yet watching this made me just buy the same cat cover!! DANG IT!!!
Thank you! I’m really excited about it. Just play in them all 💕😍😆

Happy you are here with us welcome 🤗 💕💕

What great obsessions - Hobonichi and cats. Me, too.
💕💕🙌🏻
Totally picked up the 5 year book from walmart after I saw you had that. I like that is has prompts... and it was budget friendly to buy!
Yay! I’m so glad I shared it as part of my line up. Definitely budget friendly. 💕

My planner line up is a Weeks for health, financial, and meal tracking. My A5 Cousin will be for personal planning, and a bullet journal for work.
I love it! 💕💕
I’m the same - I can’t walk in any store without visiting the stationery aisle! 😂
Lol 😂 it’s a problem 😂😂
However if you ever lose me in a store that has stationery you’ll know where to find me 😂😂🙌🏻💕
I have the bunnies 2023 Weeks and love it! I will be ordering the cats for my 2024 Weeks, like you, I just can’t say no to kitties!
It is so cute! Kitties are the best 😍
That Hon is beautiful!!
Thank you! I’m so glad I chose this one. I love it 💕

I have tried HP I wasn’t a fan but I haven’t explore EC. Maybe 🤔 I should…. 💕

Have you looked at the alister method? I’m wanting to try it because it cuts down on repetitive entries
No I haven’t I will look into though 😃
I like your planners. The Tarot stuff scares me though.
💕🙏😃
I use a hoho wks for my financial planner.
I’m still debating on whether I’m going to get a classic Cousin or a Hon. Ugh!!!
I’m in planner peace with my cousin. I am curious about the Hon so I’m excited to use it this year. 💕
Funny you mention the colour of the pages….i always preferred white but finding the white hardcovers are just not right 😅. Enjoyed this video, I had to stop watching for a while because I’m tired of the cousin and weeks using TCMC lol
Well, Etsy enjoys a very large chunk of my paycheck😅
