Nah ... just murders, people dying of cancer, teacher-student relationships, breakdowns, mad police officers going on rampages with a digger and golf club, explosions, teachers falling off school roofs ....... it's a lovely show! :D
skitzofrenia a vareity of things, mainly voices in your head telling you do to things to harm yourself or others, someone with the illness needs 24 hour supervision
+Kaiser Zephan no thats just being deprived of your sleep, you dont hear things your brain makes you hallucinate it plays tricks on you so you think your hearing things but really your not your just sleep deprived
+callum paget not necessarily. Schizophrenia has a wide variety of symptoms other than auditory hallucinations. But someone with the condition is capable of having a normal life.
I keep watching this over and over again I love Josh. He's my favorite. I wish more scenes like this with Josh occurred in the show. I had watched season 8 hoping there would be then I find out he's not in season 8 I was pissed.
He has schizophrenia, which started to develop slowly. He started getting paranoid, and when he was given the task of showing kids out for a fire drill he went to pieces. That's when they thought maybe something was wrong. In this episode, he stops taking his medication which controlled the paranoia, voices and so on, hence the breakdown.
First of all, Josh had a psychotic break before and Tom took him to the gp who referred them to a psychiatrist! They were suspicious that he did have schizophrenia, but weren't for sure because Josh had only had one psychotic breakdown. This right here is his second psychotic break so no its pretty much guaranteed that he has schizophrenia. That's why he was taking the medication, it was preventative. Second, while Josh was in the testing room before he laid on the floor, people around him were starting to notice something was wrong with him. Did you see that they were all staring at him like something was wrong.
glad they done this acuratley instead of going ott. They shown how hard it is to actually cope with paranoid schizophrenia. and glad they didn't miss the hard reality that comes with it
This makes me cry every time i watch this, my brother is gay and he has Schizophrenia so josh has always been my favourite charactor as he relates to my brother so much, hes a fantastic actor! Portrayed it brilliantly!
I'm 43 now and rapid bi-polar OCD but coping barely. Wasn't diagnosed till my mid 20's but by then it was too late. The damage had been done. The future that should have been mine was stolen from me. I've been at war with myself for so long now feel like butter spread over too much bread. I'm just really tired.
This happened to me probably around 10 I thought I was melting crying to my mum to help me. Before that in my bed I saw trains Moving about in the air above my bed, Cars driving about etc. It was scary and very hard to explain. This video really showed off what its like your completely in a world of your own. For me it wasn't that bad never took any meds (if I did I don't remember) and it rarely happens sometimes it happens but it still feels like I have control. Now age 17 never happened for 3 years... Yay i guess
I was watching that episode a few days ago :P Yeah it was Cassie, who got Sambuca, Lauren, Amy, Siobhan and Michaela in trouble because she said they were all bullying her. Turned out she was just hearing voices. It was pretty sad :( They used to have a lot of good episodes back in the day. After series 7 it kind of went crap :P
so ive been trying to find the songs and just found them :-) At 06.51 it is "Fall Creek Boys by James Blake & Bon Iver" and 11.00 its "young blood blue by hurry for the riff raff" hope this helps :P x
yeaah, i was watching it thursday or friday on cbs drama...showing all the old episodes...they were sooo much better........iknow-.- ive hated it since the move to scotland....denzil dying...although, smiley did come back :) i think they should have brought chlo and micka and josh back when tom died, or atleast get them all to meet each other...plus i wanted to see odnte and the baby ahaha
+deanna wagstaff I should imagine he'd need a psychiatric assessment to determine whether he'd require in or outpatient care, and if a section would be appropriate for his own safety if he was at risk of harming himself.
This was so well acted, props to the kid who plays Josh!
He's called Will Rush
This episode never ceases to bring me to tears. God this is great acting. I miss Waterloo Road!
Taylor Jones wish there was bloopers for this episode as I mean they must be really funny
Ive never watched this show. But just by watching this...
This show must be dark as fuck.
Nah ... just murders, people dying of cancer, teacher-student relationships, breakdowns, mad police officers going on rampages with a digger and golf club, explosions, teachers falling off school roofs ....... it's a lovely show! :D

No problem :) I've got a few other clips of it on my channel, and I think someone has been uploading full episodes, so you've got plenty to watch!
When I had my nervous breakdown in 9th grade just got up and walked home.
Hm this was a little more than a nervous breakdown :) Hope you're feeling better now!

I love Waterloo Road but I found this to be a trigger for my own mental illness unfortunately. xx
Emily turned quite evil and mean when her sister left
Yeah and her sister didn't leave, she ended up in jail
I thought she got out of Prison and then didn't come back when they held that party for her, so Emily ran away
