This is why there will never be a show quite like Waterloo Road. The material that they examined and used. Just an absolute pleasure to watch and at times very difficult to watch but made it all the more effective
You will never be alone. People like you I cannot begin to imagine what you go through. Waterloo Road taught me that. You are all so strong with what you go through. You are all amazing. I mean it!
@@James-q1u1z thank you, appreciate that enormously. I feel like I am not a genuine guy at times, I have been in a very bad place over the last couple of years. Mental health has been extremely exhausting.
I got really emotional when I saw this when it first aired. I'm not schizophrenic, I have experienced psychosis and I can relate so much to some of this.
Oh my goodness, this is one of the most touching things i have ever watched in my life! Will Rush is a fabulous actor and really did well with the schizophrenia storyline!:-)
The people who wrote this show really knew what reality looked like. No one deserves to be kept hidden away. In life we all want to hear the truth and be able to understand what goes on in the world 🙏
The thing when the girls tricked him hit home to me, some girls in my year tricked me into selling my soul and making me think I was possessed by the devil
William is a sensational actor it was really believe able but feel sorry for him because he started off meeting his dad who didn't want to know then drugged his dad and nearly lost him then he was gay then nates dad hurt his dad then his heart was broken then he took drugs and couldn't quit then he became scitsophrenic then he failed in school then he got shot in the arm :0 poor josh
My dad have schizophrenia, I recently witnessed his first psychotic episode (don’t live together). I never understood why he drank on meds, the things he would say never made sense. When I was really young, I would believe it. Now, I know it was all in his head. Watching it is scary and it’s not like how it is on TV. Waterloo road (Josh’s character) is the best representation of schizophrenia I’ve seen yet.
@@jonashee8794 My favourite Waterloo Road era is the one with Bolton, Paul, Philip, Michaela, Danielle, and Aleesha. But a close second is definitely this era, with Finn, Josh, Lauren, Sambuca, and also Ronan, Vicki, Jess, and sweet little Harry.

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder. It can make the sufferer delusional (they believe things that can't possibly be true), paranoia and hallucinations. Basically his thoughts are all muddled up and he doesn't think things through like you would if your mind is healthy.
How stupid do others need to be, to not know that something is not right about him? The teachers are an absolute example of stupidity. I care to much. Those that also go through animal situations. Like other people.
