Can the vet make it worse by moving the knee too much? I took my dog in for a popping noise, and after the exam, she has been limping since.

This question is best answered by your vet.

I took my dog in for an 7 week evaluation for his ccl suture surgery. And they had him screaming while saying the joint is moving too much and he needs the surgery redone. He's been on strict leash walks and followed all instructions. He's walking on the leg. I feel they should have never even suggested surgery on a 8 pound yorkie to begin with.

I look at it this way, should a doctor manipulate your knee in such a way to determine it it was unstable? Hell no, the drawer test should be banned!
