I had it last year and it was way busier. It was one of the best dinners I had the whole trip. THey had sirloin, beef stroganoff , mahi mahi, orange chicken. Many things you shown and more. Everything was delicious. my server had her sections drinks always full and cleared. Plus you get a discount with players club card. It was very enjoyable.
Now that's a depressing buffet.
Danger Zone I didn't care for this buffet as well as Circus Circus buffet. The place looks empty meaning to me that the food has sat out there for awhile.
Yeah. The steamed broccoli looked like the bags of frozen stuff I can get at the grocery store. Not impressed at all.
Yeah, it does look pretty depressing. Somehow, I knew this guy would find the fried chicken the best part of the buffet. 😁

Straightforward reviews are the most useful tool for anyone who fancies a Vegas buffet, and you are the best in this field in my opinion.
That arcade pizza looked straight out of a freezer box. The hybrid chicken piece you got was a fried bat. It’s the chicken of the cave.

I loved the stratosphere buffet.. I stayed there and the buffet was always free for me... They have great food all meals of the day.. I will be back June 10-14 2019

I had no idea Stratosphere even has a buffet. It looks more like an employee dining room.
This is a buffet which will be great for someone who has just been out of prison after 20 years inside.

I think the Stratosphere Buffet is one of the most underrated in Vegas. I always get good food there and it's not high priced.

Hey Derick, I don't know if this is beneath you but, what about a comparison video to Golden Corral?
The best thing about this buffet is the lack of people/customers .. looked clean, nice presentation (without customers making a mess) .. Meat selection a bit thin (but in the low $20 range for dinner) but everything else was there .. I'll keep this in mind as the out-of-the-way, not crowded alternative

The thing to keep in mind here is you can get a free buffet easily if you join the players club and play a few slots. And this is what you get. It's pretty typical throughout the casino industry. The best you can hope for is to find a few dishes you like, load up on them, and enjoy the soft-serve ice cream and churros at the end.
Going to Vegas for the first time next month. I'm using your reviews for where not to eat or where to eat. Thanks for these videos!

Yes it tastes better than it looks..not too pricey. It started out as a $6.99 buffet. Unfortunately it's still a $6.99 buffet. Pricing has gone up but the quality is still the same. Circus Circus is the same.

Agreed!! We ate here with some friends before our flight home a couple years ago- what a mistake!! It was just a depressing end to a fabulous trip. We won't need to go there ever again.
I was thinking the same as others... to start.......... its empty, only a small amount of choice.............. but then I saw your reaction to the food, and it was positive............ and at that price, quite frankly is a bit of a hidden gem, albeit not a shiny one.............. I would defo go here, especially to avoid the much busier ones if I wanted some more relaxed quiet time.

For the money, looks as good as it can get. I've always liked the Strat. So underrated and unappreciated. Have you tried Roxy's Diner. Maybe do a video on that!!

Buffet snobs don't like this buffet but i came away just as satisfied as when i went to the Aria. Sure it has no crab legs bet then again it's $16 cheaper.
So glad you made this, I'm staying here in a few weeks and wasn't sure how the buffet was. I'll be going to the sterling brunch, the bacchanal buffet, and the Wynn buffet during my stay in Vegas! Thanks for all of your reviews, It's helped me plan my vacation better and feel like I'm not wasting money or time when I'm in Vegas....I'll be doing plenty of that at the casinos lol

I stayed at the Stratosphere in Vegas so ate at this buffet twice it was pretty good for the price point.
MY wife and I stayed there in 2017. The food was decent as buffet food goes we went to the Sunday brunch which included all you can drink champagne..

Thank you so much for reviewing this buffet. I requested for a review of this buffet a few months back. I am glad that the Stratosphere still has a buffet. Looks like they have changed the name. The last time I stayed at the Stratoshpere about 5 years ago, the name of the buffet use to be called the Country Buffet. Even though it is one of the smaller buffets on the strip, you can at least still get a decent meal for a fairly low price.

do you have any hook ups at sterling brunch buffet. I'm coming in july and want to film a video there but it's all booked! is there a stand by line or anything ?
Probably the only way around the wait is trying your luck with bar seating. Or if you have a casino host!

I've been to Sterling Brunch about 4 times (going there every year when I'm in Las Vegas). I normally reserve ~3 months in advance. You can get into Sterling Brunch without a reservation. You just need to show up there early (I suggest ~9:30am) and wait for a bar seat. I always reserve for 9:30am (which is their opening time) and at 9:30am, there is already a line of people without reservations waiting to be seated at the bar. The later you show up, the less chance you have of eating at the bar so my suggestion is to show up for ~9:30am.

the BBQ ribs were great the last time I ate there on the dinner buffet. sounds like they still are. in fact, they were so good I have no idea what else I ate when I was there that night.
"That was fantastic!!.. My friends Joel & Steff are in Vegas now & ate at the Buffett there last night ..& said it was the best.. Great food!!.. Fantastic price.. Plenty of fantastic quality food..& my friend Joel is a big 6 foot guy..& if he says the food is fantastic!!.. Then it is..We will be there ourselves in Dec / January..So we will definitely been eating here when we are visiting ..$22-95.. That's a great price!!.. Here in Surfers Paradise in Gold Coast, QLD..our Buffett is $50.. & that's only for about 3-4 hours eating.. Where as there.. You can eat for the 24 hours period.. Massive!!.. That's us..
