Maybe, but we used to pay $1.99 in the early 80's for a buffet in Reno Nevada.
Reno ... even in the mid-90s the Circus Circus buffet was always under $5 for dinner ($3.99 lunch / $2.99 breakfast) and many 2-4-1 COUPONS at the time. Ha!
let's see.....Saturday lunch and the place isn't crowded? get right in and seated? all kinds of ice cream, cake, desserts? made to order mongollian with shrimp or beef? $7.99? all the ice tea and soda I can drink? Ok, who do I gotta kill?

8:02 I loved my elementary school pizza! We would get square pizza for lunch on Fridays. I also loved the sloppy joes! I've tried recreating the sloppy joe at home but it never tastes the same as it did back in elementary school 🤣

Good deal for $6.99 considering you can pay that at Portillo's for a dog and fries! If you are doing a budget Vegas trip, this is the go to place until you are ready to hit the elegant dining on the other days. Thanks Derek and enjoy!

What I said about Vegas buffets for years. OK but just that. Good deal at the Suncoast butdon't be prepared to be awestruck by the food. It's OK though. I've been to much moreexpensive ones and thought the same. Thanks Derek for the honest reviews.
if i lived there i would probably eat here every other day for lunch. the salad alone is worth 6.99... decked out salad with carved turkey

ok. $6.99 is actually cheap. I just paid $9.99 for a salad and bread. Probably I could have built a better one myself at this buffet, plus ice cream. not bad for people on a budget

$6.99 is super cheap. But ironically the salad there is probably the best thing to eat. Looked fresh. If they had a deli sandwich bar that would probably be better.

I stayed 4 nights there last May, and liked the Suncoast a lot. it's a stand alone way out in Summerlin. The rooms were large, clean, nice. the pool and jacuzzi were great. i liked having the theaters Dupars, there is a small store for goodies to stock your in room refer just before you head up the elevators. the buffet was fine, and well worth the price.

The mashed potatoes and gravy were WONDERFUL. Instead of dessert I got more mashed potatoes and gravy. I never touch any potatoes or bread on a buffet so it was weird that I even tried them. I did take a soft serve cone back to my favorite slot machine to eat while I played. If you don't finish your beverage you can take that with you too. The Mongolian BBQ and the spaghetti and meat sauce were really good too.

The prices went up. $7.99 is the cheapest for breakfast and lunch. That's still a good deal. I'd visit just to eat the cheap buffet. I'd find something I liked there. Thanks for the review.
if I ever make it there, I am getting 2 chocolate chip cookies (preferably pretty decent size) and a scoop of real ice cream and making myself an ice cream cookie sandwich.
This is my go-to for buffet food. The mongolian style grill is worth double the price you pay by itself. It's just basic food but it's infinitely better than a burger joint. It also gives you the chance to eat much healthier for a small price.
For 6.99, that's good value. I would go there for lunch at work.

I love catching up on you older videos and got a kick out of the beef and broc, where only broc was left and no beef. lol
I went today and this buffet is delicious but I notice each food section is small compared to other buffets like the red rock. They don’t have a lot of selection. I found myself mixing up a lot of the different types of food on my plate but I guess that’s why it’s a bit cheap. Still good though.
Always nice to see a new video from you! What I find most disappointing at las Vegas buffets that the food is not even warm. They should install these heaters above the food to keep it at the right temperature.

Its nice to see they still have Lunch Buffets under $7, those those other people paying $32-40 for lunch buffet at those fancier places, even though the selection and quality are higher will be so full they dont have to eat dinner.

Just the ice cream bar alone is worth 6.99! If you are traveling with tons of kids, its budget worthy. Cheaper than McDonald's.

Looks like a lot of good choices. I know the food may not be up to famous chef level, but it looks great for the price. Are drinks(non alcoholic) included in the buffet or do you pay extra for them?

I had an amazing Sunday at Suncoast when the St. Tropez Buffet had its champagne brunch - just over $15 including tax! It's an easy commute taking the WAX bus to the final stop ($2). The food was fine for my taste buds. After the buffet you can see a film since the Suncoast has a move theatre that shows more than a dozen different films.

It may be ironic to say but for that price I'd probably spend most of my time eating the salad bar. It's probably the freshest and best tasting part of the buffet. Salad bar usually is the best but people won't eat it to stuff their face with all the other stuff.

I think you're missing the point of buffets. It's quantity over quality. This is not to say the quality of the food so bad it make you regret going to the buffet. But, it's to provide the patrons with enough food, at an acceptable taste, that they reach their fill. If the taste of the food is above average, it's a bonus.

(After seeing your reviews of the M Resort's Studio B Buffet) I see what you mean.
If 70% of what I put on my plate stand out on their own in taste without seasoning or condiments and if the remaining 25%-30% non-dessert items can be salvaged with sauce, gravy, or salad dressing...that buffet would be a winner.

I think you should change "Buffet review" to "What I like to eat" Fish sections are never shown except for shrimp, I'm sure each buffet has more than shrimp, and more ethnic food than Chinese. Try doing the entire buffet once.

I feel like your videos have great content and very informative but it's too short. Why just make a full length vlog and not just highlights? I won't mind watching a 20 to 30-minute vlog full of food and you speak good 😀
