This should be must viewing for everyone who subscribes to beauty channels. This is how to do makeup girls. Soft, natural, easy, inexpensive products. And no expensive brushes and applicators either. You are living proof that we don't need hi-end products to achieve a beautiful look. I haven't used lipstick in 20 years. I do the same lipliner and a lip balm technique that you do. I loved everything about this video! Laurie
Thank you so much Laurie!!! I'm extremely frugal, always have been. I'm sure my husband appreciates it. Lol! But especially if you can achieve the same...or simliar look withut having to spend a fortune. :) However, with eye shadows I happen to prefer building on a color, rather than applying one that is highly pigmented, leaving no room for mistakes in the application process. I'm a newbie with eye shadows so I make plenty of mistakes. Ha! That's neat that you use a similar lip liner and chapstick combo. It's so easy and semi- natural looking. :) Thank you for your sweet comment! :)
I really enjoy watching your videos! You're so real and genuine; it's refreshing! I'm 45 and I love watching skin care and makeup tutorials/videos, and am so glad to have found someone in their 40's who is so down to earth. Keep doing what you're doing! You are truly a blessing!
I love watching your videos, you are like a breath of fresh air amongst the other You Tube women. You seem so real, not fake and that makes you enjoyable to watch. I also love the fact that you are showing that you dont need to spend a fortune to look good. Your style videos are awesome. Thanks for making this videos :)
I so so soooo enjoy watching you! You're vulnerable, honest, humble, and very likable. Thank you for showing gals that you can break all the "make up rules" and make it work just beautifully. I think us women get trapped, but you've shown us the meaning of 'do you' in a positive way ☺ Thank you! I'm older than you by a few years, and love women encouraging women ♥
I like that you show drugstore brands! Not everyone has the money to buy high end products, so this kind of video's are more than welcome. 😃👍 Nothing wrong with drugstore. 😉
I love your videos an tutorials. I'm only 23, but I dislike how most girls my age seem to be using/teaching how to use the expensive palettes and brush sets. This is exactly the kind of tutorial I was looking for!
I was glad to come across someone a little older doing makeup. I'm 39. I use that foundation and wedge sponges so You are not alone in this. You look beautiful!! 💕
I remember using those wedge sponges to apply my foundation back in the 80's. I think you are right that they probably work as well as the "modern day" higher priced ones. Thanks for reminding me of those! I am going to try them again.
I'm so late to the party, but this is such a wholesome video of you. It's adorable seeing you do your thing and be honest about not being an expert or above any brand. Idk, i think this is a cute video of a woman being her authentic self and I appreciate that you decided to share with us. Thank you
I agree with a lot of the posts here. Your look is natural, minimal , yet cared for without all the crazy shiny highlights on the cheeks and contour powders , 7 different eye shadows, caterpillar brows etc. I love your look ! Thanks for what you do!
I loved this video so much. It's not about the expensive products, not about trying the newest thing out there, it's your favorite things that you use. Thank you very much!
You're so very refreshing to see that you are very comfortable in your own skin and don't try to hide the fact that were getting older, also it's lovely to see someone do their makeup very well without spending thousands of dollars on makeup and brushes, love your channel and subbed to you definitely, thank you!!
Very well done! It suits you perfectly! You should do more videos about how you are caring for your beauty. I would love to see your daily skin care routine for example. You keep it simple. That is what I like about! Have a great day! 💋
On youtube nowadays we see products flying left right and center. It is refreshing to see a makeup look which is subtle along with small tricks to correct tiny flaws we might have. Thanks for being so honest about not being a pro.
Hi, really loving your tutorial. So refreshing to see someone real that doesn't pay a fortune for makeup. Finally a mature girl after my own heart and I also have hooded eyes. Audrey from Scotland 😍
Just turned 50 and it is so refreshing to see a beautiful mature woman do these tutorials. Newbie here from Toledo OH and will keep watching. Thank you for being real. :)
Hello! I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did! I am 48 years old and found most of the "mature" beauty UA-camrs are using high priced products. I find it refreshing that you use drug store makeup like I do. I used to have poor vision so I wore glasses at all times (awake of course). I couldn't see my face clearly, especially to apply makeup well. My glasses covered all the imperfections. I just had LASIK and can see clearly now. The morning after I looked in the mirror and said aloud, "Who is this old lady?" Now I can see all my problem areas clearly-the puffy, discolored eye bags (I always had some degree of dark circles), crepey, wrinkled under eye skin with "tear troughs," all of which show worse when I smile. Plus, like you, I've always had hooded eyelids, but now that issue is more prominent. One eyelid droops more than the other too. Also, after Lasik, you have to buy all new makeup, so I'm starting out fresh. Because I have to use eye drops about every 50 minutes, long-wearing or waterproof is the way to go whenever possible. Thank you for revealing what you do to minimize your problem areas without breaking the bank. I do not have the fantastic cheekbones and face shape like yours. Instead, I had full cheeks when I was young that gravity is taking its toll on, accentuating the other flaws. Again, thank you for making your videos. I very rarely comment and I'm sorry this is so long (I hope you see this). I look forward to checking out more of your content and I will definitely be trying out your tips and techniques.
And I love that dollar tree eye shadow because it is subtle and I need that to go with the bright red lips I wear every single day. Thanks for a great video, Jenifer, you did a wonderful job and you look beautiful!
I just can't get over how this technique for your eyes , just like mine I may add, truly works, I'm so very thankful for your eye tutorials, please please do more if you find the time
Just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love watching your videos. I don't have a TV and watch a lot of UA-cam and you are just my favorite because you are so real. I look forward to every new video. Please don't ever change.
I love the wedges!!!! I just recently got a bag of Beauty Junkee beauty blender sponges. They are really very nice, but I will always love the wedge. I love that you can buy a bag a Walmart for a few bucks and it lasts for months. I am not using concealer any longer either. It makes me look older and settles into my fine lines and wrinkles. I'll take the slight darkness instead. I am resigned to the fact that I hate concealer. You did a great job on this. Thank you for showing all the youngsters that you don't need $1,000 worth of makeup and tools to do your face. You look fabulous.
So for the past few months I have used this as my reference video. I wrote all the products down and I keep the list in my purse. Thank you for keeping us "not in our 3o's anymore" ladies with our overall beauty and health! You're my guru!!
You're welcome!! I agree, its so wonderful to have someone around my age that I can still look up to for advice. I have watched everyone of your videos and i have your youtube page in a separate list on its own. I reference and recommend you all the time for friends that are around our age. Everyone just loves you and your beautiful spirit!
I have just recently found your videos, and I just wanted to say I love them so much!! You are absolutely beautiful without makeup, but I love the way you do your makeup and how you admit that you don't do things like everyone else, you do it how it looks good to you! That is great to me, because when I try to watch other makeup video's I get so confused because they use a million different products. Also, I LOVE all your anti-aging video's. I'm 38 and all of your recommendations are great!!! Thank you!!
This was very helpful. I don't wear eye makeup mostly because I don't know how to apply it on without it looking over done. Your makeup here looks very natural. Thank you.
(I'm commenting as I watch)...OMG...I'm like you with the eye lids...and I've always wondered why I can't do my eye makeup like the videos online! This was so helpful! I can't believe I've never considered looking up "aging" makeup tutorials! THANK YOU! GREAT TIPS!
Jennifer, you showed how to save a bundle and still look great using these products. You have got the application down pack. It's the kind of look great for daytime. You look naturally pretty, energized and confident. I share your feelings on wearing false eyelashes. If you don't need them don't use them. The application seems tricky too.
I remember watching your under eye tutorial, it's amazing you don't even need concealer since the injections. Not that you needed this before. I am so self conscious about my under eye hollows. I've had them all my life. I really am going to look into this after watching you. Love the tutorial.
Your bruise....I thought it was make-up swatches gone awry! Eyebrow "Spoolie" I'm surprised too; I've been using powder for my brows more lately, and it does last. As you, my right eye's hood is pretty heavy, while my left eye is hanging on to its hood! :D I also have to bring my transition shade from my hood into my inner corner because if not, then my 'fat pad' is highlighted in a bad way. When you feel like playing a little, think 'upwards': sweep your transition shade up toward the end of your brow to create a little lift. And if you ever wear eyeliner or a darker shadow on the outer corner of your eyelid, sweep that color upwards also. Keep it subtle like you do. See if that helps with creating the illusion of lifting the hood of your eyelid. Your techniques are definitely working for you. Your placement of shadows and highlights work well. I fear false eyelashes, too. But I sure would like to see what I look like with a few wisps on my outer corners. Cool! The sponge wedges can be used dry without any problems?! They're going on my shopping list. Take care, Jenifer. Always enjoy seeing you! Blessings!!! Denise
Thank you for this GRWM....your so funny and natural... and I love that you don't act like you know everything about make up....your real!!! Plus your beautiful.... with or with out make up!!!
I've been watching a lot of makeup videos on hooded eyes...after losing a lot of weight my entire face has changed and now I need to figure out how to put makeup on it! I love how natural this look is and your advice on "patting" instead of "sweeping" should be well heeded by those young girls out there! I have recently purchased the Sonia Kashuk "perfectly neutral 10" pallet from Target---it's all mattes and I'm loving it. Sugarpuffandfluff does a lot of hooded eye videos (I'm sure you've watched her) and what you're doing is basically what she does, just toned down a bit. One thing I will say...try not to change. Keep it real. Us real people out here can't afford to spend literally thousands of dollars every few months on products (some we end up never really using). I know there's many great and affordable products out there. I'd much rather sink my money into skin care than the icing that goes on it! Your makeup always looks great...who cares if what you do isn't what "they" do? It looks nice on you! (I do that same thing with bronzer in the summer! lol) And the eyebrow thingy is called a "spooly" or "spoolie"...who knows how it's spelled? LOL A great video! (I wish I could wear more E.L.F. but their eye shadows really mess with my eyelids, so watch that. And the powders make every wrinkle show :( )
Now this is REAL hooded eyed tutorial ... 😀.. I have hooded eyes like you and this is how I do my eye makeup too! Love it... And Your beautiful with & without makeup.. Thank you for this.. 👍🏻💕
I also agree, you do not have to use high end skin care or make up products to achieve a beautiful skin care look. You don't have to spend a lot of money to achieve beautiful results. I love your videos.
I am a mature woman and appreciate your views. I have gone overboard buying high end products and should have done exactly what you did. Continue to do as you are!
Thank you Robin! 😊 For some reason I just cannot justify over-spending on make up items. Now skincare...that's a different story. But even then, I rarely find it necessary. 😊
I'm glad you brought those angled sponges to the worlds attention. It's funny that if you go to Sephora they apply our foundation with those very sponges, and then we go buy a beauty blender! I'm getting myself a big ol bag of those sponges! I'm tired of washing my Beaty blender! Love the inexpensive, natural look! Beautiful!
You look great!!! Great tips for aging eyes! I'm going to get fillers tomorrow morning to help with my bags under my eyes and I'm only 30 so I feel you on the whole aging thing! I hope I look as good as you do at your age. Wish me luck and keep making videos!
I'm not shocked at all i love using the cheap makeup sponges there's no need for expensive sponges love your look so beautiful and pretty i just use drugstore makeup too xxx
This was so fun to watch, Jenifer. You look beautiful before the makeup and your after was super, too! Gorgeous! It really enhances what you already have, and in a very natural way. Also, so glad to know someone else who is a "dabber" with makeup brushes. I am, too. Especially around the eyes, it just feels so uncomfortable on me to "sweep." It sort of burns, almost? Thank you for all your tips! ~Janis
Lol!! I'm a "dabber" for sure! When I watch some of the younger youtubers and I see how long they sweep and swish and blend their eye shadows, and the way they wipe to remove it later, I just think to myself that they are going to regret that one day. I could be wrong, but the skin around the eyes seems to be the first to go, so I just think we should be gentle with it. :) Thank you for your sweet compliments!
I use those wedges too. Swisspers are the best! Used wedges back in the day and loved them because they're disposable...recently have used brushes, Real Techniques sponges (which are a beast to clean...but love them) and now have gone back to those simple little wedges which apply make-up so well.
Ouch! I hope that bruise goes away soon and that you have a speedy recovery! Beautiful makeup look! I love the soft, natural colors too and think they always look great (especially as we get older). I will have to try that trick of putting the shadow color up above. I usually just either do one light color all over my lids or put a pop of color on my actual lid which is shrinking in size as my eyes get a bit droopier. You look gorgeous as always!!! xoxo
Aging eyes are such a pain! Lol! I don't think I'll ever do any type of dramatic looks with eye shadows...mainly because I'm a newbie and I'll wind up looking like a crazy lady, but I've definitely gotten to the point where some sort of camouflaging is necessary. All I can say is Thank God for Makeup! :)
Old school gal right here! Lol I too place bronzer on the apples of my cheeks. I'm sure there are some that would cringe at our techniques! I've tried doing my makeup differently, contouring, etc. I look older! My husband doesn't care for it either. Hey I love it and I'm 42.
I agree. I've tried contouring before and I wound up looking gaunt and older. My goal is to just look like I've been sunkissed. And yes, I'm afraid others may cringe when they see this video, but it's they way I do it, so I wanted to be honest and authentic. :) Hope you have a fabulouse evening!
I loved this video Jen. As you know, I also use mostly drugstore makeup. I have always believed that you don't have to spend a lot of money to look great. You just proved it! Much love...Laura
I'm totally with you on that! I think there are just as many great drugstore products as there are high-end products....and just as many NOT so great ones too. I could never look at someone and tell if they were wearing high end or drugstore, so why overspend? ;) Hope you have a fantastic week!
I really enjoyed this video-you crack me up how you second guess yourself & how you look into the camera like "are you still there?" LOL...love it. You are REAL and naturally gorgeous with helpful tips for a naturally-not over done-makeup application....I'm subscribed! ;) great video. (p.s. I don't think I could EVER do the false eyelashes...I'm like you...it feels like it's just trying too hard. plus..who wants to have to peel that crap off every day? Don't get me wrong..they look great..one of my favorite channels- with Tati - she's GORGEOUS with them...and she wears then daily..but it's just not "me"). HUGS
Great job. I appreciate that you stick to a natural look. It seems like I look older the more I try to update. One thing I would like to share is ELF has a great skinny angled brush that is great for brows. It has helped me not be so heavy handed with my brow color. Your brows are great but I think the brush is more comfortable too. Btw, I am a Marshall's/TJMaxx fan too. 🙂
Awe...thank you so much! It's funny because the higher-end palettes are supposed to be highly pigmented which is why so many people like them. I actually prefer to have to build the color, otherwise it can get really messy and I end up having to start all over, so a lightly pigmented shadow seems to work better for me. Hope you have a wonderful evening! :)
I love watching your videos and the way you do your makeup. I have always preferred a more natural look and am not good at all of the fancy contouring. I just think it looks healthy. Please don't ever apologize or be embarrassed to be yourself. You seem to be a pretty down to earth and nice person which is another reason I like to watch your videos.
Awe, I think that's my favorite compliment...when people say I'm down to earth. I really like that, it means a lot, thank you! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Hi Lisa 😊 You can also buy it on Shopmissa.com. It's an online dollar store. Someone had mentioned it on their Channel and I quickly went there to see if I could find the colors that I used in this video because they were no longer at my local dollar store. Just thought I'd pass that along. 😊
Jenifer just checked into your very first blog and love all the videos that you have done. You come across so natural. Love to hear some of your thoughts on nutrition and how you keep your weight down. Going to make sure that I see every one of your videos. Thank you.
I had super short lashes till I started using rapid lash! I've been using it for almost two months now. I get mine at bed bath and beyond and use the 20% off coupon. It's not as expensive that way and each bottle lasts for two months! I found my lashes are long now but not thicker. Again great job on this video!
Very beautiful and natural look. Just down my alley. This angled brush is very multitasking. Seems like perfect for hooded eyes. I must get one. P.S. Hope you will recover soon. Look after yourself.
Very true, I need to pick up a few more of the angled brushes becasue it seems to be the one I always reach for because it somehow gives me more control of whatever I'm applying. Thank you for your kinds words! Hope you have a fantastic evening!
great tips. I also have hooded eyes that are kind of wide set. I'm def going to try your methods. I also just found a bag of cosmetic wedges about a month ago and have been using them since. I actually wet mine and they work as good as any of the more popular sponges. 😊
hi jenifer, I love your videos, you always look very put together and beautiful no matter if its high end or low end make up- skin care .. I cannot believe how well you do your hair color and high lites....I just cant do my own hair color anymore just too darn hard.....thx again and take care.
I literally LOVE your video! you really do things to help a person my age get it right! I love the elf products..you're awesome..thank you for the video! :)
You're so cute and down to earth and real...this GRWM was super cute and your techniques are what work for you...it's not silly, or ridiculous. Make up is such a personal thing...don't ever feel the pressure of all these modern day trends...I, too, am 42...I'm really into skin care, way more than I am make up...but enjoyed this just as much as all your other videos! You're beautiful no matter what!!!
Awe....thank you for the kinds words! :) Yes, I'm with you...skin care is my therapy! I am definitely going to be making day time and night time skin care routine videos here soon. I'm way overdue, and I'm always changing things up, so it's about time. Thank you for your comments! I hope you have a fantastic evening!
Great video!! I found your eyeshadow technique very interesting. My eyelids are drooping a lot, and I stopped wearing eyeshadow a year ago. Then I recently stopped wearing eyeliner because the skin on my eyelids seems so bumpy now...and I use creams, primers, etc to keep my eyes smooth. It has been so frustrating. I wear glasses full time & without eye makeup eyes will not pop behind the glasses which I am noticing now too. I will try your way & see if it helps. Thank you for being encouraging about keeping the old school aspects part of the process...too often the new things are expensive & disappointing. PS-I have been using bronzer as a blush for years...it is the perfect, subtle glow for my skin. You are beautiful...always remember that!!
Aging eyes can be so frustrating!! I'm just now, at age 43, beginning to experiment with eyeshadows and applications just to disguise and camouflage them. I seem to have the best luck with neutral colors that are NOT higly pigmented. I prefer to build the color, so I don't go overboard and wind up looking like a crazy lady. ha! And yes, I do prefer some of the old school applications. I attempted to contour once and it was not flattering on me at all. Made me look older actually...and as if I had on a ton of makeup. But I do like to add a tiny bit of color for a more healthy look and like you said, subtle glow. Thank you for watching and I hope you have a wonderful evening!
You look Absolutely Beautiful, I have just subscribed to your channel, and one big reason, is because, you use affordable drugstore skincare, and makeup products, instead of all high end products. I really appreciate that, and love the results. I only have 2 high end products, the rest are all drug store, which I prefer, and achieve the same results.
hi Jenifer thank you! I love your natural look! You have beautiful skin, gorgeous complexion! Please don't cover it up with lots of makeup powders and such, I like little, just what you do. Looks good! Love your channel
yes that elf correcting powder i use and i usually will hoard them and but 4 @ a time....im gonna go old schoo back to the 90's but it reminds me of a kaleidoscope powder i use to wear from adrienne arpel...😂 keep up the videos...really enjoying
There is nothing old school about it. As long as it works for you, it's okay. 😊 You're such a beautoful woman and this makeup looks great on you. will try it too. By the way - I'm pretty "old school" as well (48 years young). 😆
Awe, well thank you! I just can't justify buying expensive eye shadow palettes. First of all, I'm still learning how to apply eye shadows at the ripe old age of 43. ;) And secondly, out of every palette I've ever purchased or have ever been gifted, there is usually only 2-3 colors that I like and the rest end up going to waste. :)
I am experimenting with under eye stuff. It seems my eyes look WORSE if I do concealer. I don't necessarily have creapy skin but when I add concealer, it shows up! Which makes me feel weird cause of such a BIG deal about baking! But learning that my way is MY way! I don't have to be like all the others! I am still old school! I have always applied my blush where they now do contouring. But it works for me! I too use ELF setting powder and tone correcting powder. You and I do a lot of makeup things like Carmidy. ( 5 minute face ~ she is wonderful!! ) And you do GREAT on your hooded eyes! tweezerman is the bomb!
I agree with you 100%. When I wear concealer, I look older. I've tried dozens of concealers high end and low end, and they all look the same. I've tried baking, not baking, different primers, different eye creams alone and with primers, etc. you get the idea. I stopped using concealer and just use foundation instead. I have some darkness under my eyes but every fine line and wrinkle isn't exaggerated by the concealer settling into the lines. So frustrating!!
Yes! Am about ready to toss out all concealer. This week, I have started using ROC retinol treatment for under my eyes and they look even better. So to me, using concealer just gonna work. Especially now that i found something to make the skin look better. When the skin looks good, you use less to cover it so...yep. No concealer here anymore.
I'm over forty also. The best inexpensive ,anti aging, instant gratification, big impact, and totally worth taking the time to learn how to do it trick is..........false lashes!!!!! It makes everything come together. It can hide hooded eyes and gives a more youthful appearance instantly. I've been wearing them daily for about 3 years and I'll admit it was a struggle to get it right. However, it is totally, completely, absolutely, one hundred and ten percent worth it. I can put on lashes in less time than it takes some people to put on 2 or 3 coats of mascara . And it looks a thousand times better than just mascara. If I could only use one beauty product on my face it would definitely have to be falsies. I can't stress enough ladies, if you're aging or you're young and you're wondering why your makeup doesn't look totally pulled together, learn how to apply false lashes. Once you get it , you'll never go with out. I promise.
Bunny129 what eyelashes brand and kind look the most natural? I have small eyes and most of the strip lashes look huge and ridiculous on me. Would love to find ones that don't
+Jeepgirls 1978 Ardell makes some very natural styles. You should be able to find them in any Walmart or drugstore. If you find the strip too long you can cut them down a bit. Just make sure to cut from the outside corner not the inside corner. I hope this helps! :)
Bunny129 I have to try this again. I tried once and failed horribly. I'm 52. My friends have been getting lash extensions, and look great, but I'm afraid they'll ruin my natural lashes. I wish I were more adept at the false eyelash thing!!
I just found your channel and I love it. I just turned 37 this year and feel like I'm noticing all these changes in my skin at once it really feels like it happened overnight : ( lol anyways I'm with you on the makeup I watch so many videos and the younger girls eyeshadows look great I try it and look horrible but I've found in the last few years that I prefer more of the natural look also but definitely can not go with out makeup I always have had to wear it or I just don't feel put together. I'm with you though heck I use my fingers or the wedge sponge for foundation and even use the sponge that comes with my eyeshadows lol I have never had a skincare routine and am sad to say I think I'm paying for it now I just don't know where to begin. My mom has been telling me for years that it's better to start young and I didn't pay any attention to her I wish I would have now but I can hopefully help prevent what would be to come. Thanks for the great videos ! By the way you look like a mixture of Cindy Crawford and Niki Taylor you are just gorgeous and definitely look much younger ! Please keep the videos coming !
I enjoyed watching you do your makeup. The thing that looks like a mascara wand is called a spoolie. :-) I have hooded aging eyes too and I have to create that illusion of having more eyelid. I think you would benefit with a different brush. Investing in a couple of good eyeshadow brushes can really create the look your going for. I've been practicing and practicing and I've about got it down. The brushes make my eye look amazing.
It does take practice doesn't it? Lol! I've just started experimenting with eye shadows, so I'm still a work in progress. ;) What brush would you recommend?
Hi Jenifer! I was wondering if you might have any tips/techniques/suggestions you could give us for gently removing eye makeup without pulling and tugging on the fragile eye skin area. Also, what do you use for makeup remover? TIA! Btw, I am loving all of your videos. You are just so sweet! I am very much a natural makeup girl...the less, the better and I also refuse to spend tons of money on makeup. I am SOOO glad I stumbled onto your channel. You have a loyal follower in me. You are so inspirational and just freakin awesome!
What E said! Your all those things, but so perfectly. You pulled off the elf make-up and made it your Bobby Brown! You look fabulous, I wouldn't change a thing. Here I spend tons of money on high end stuff I'm not even happy with. NO MORE! I think you should be an elf representative..Someone needs to contact elf and show them this video!! Mary
Oh my goodness, thank you so much!!! It didn't even occur to me that I used so many Elf products until you mentioned it. Ha! But you're right. Thank you for your sweet comment! Hope you have a fabulous week!
Your very welcome..I as of a month ago have stopped purchasing the high end stuff. I have found, and was told about so many dupes...no reason to spend all that money. I had a UA-cam friend that gave me so much great info on antiaging face creams, and make-up dupes. it's been a hot minute, I'm trying to locate her and share all her wonderful info! So ya, no more high end, unless I just have to have it..lol
I totally agree. Less is more. Jenifer looks so pretty and natural. Just the right amount of make up.
I think us women get trapped, but you've shown us the meaning of 'do you' in a positive way ☺
Thank you! I'm older than you by a few years, and love women encouraging women ♥
Thank you for leaving such a kind a beautiful comment! It really means a lot and it's incredibly inspiring! Hope you have a fabulous evening! :)
Jenifer, please do not apologize about any of your choices or techniques. Your videos are good, let your confidence shine through!!
So refreshing to see a GRWM that is realistic for every day. Beautiful!
Thank you so much! :) :)
I will repeat this over and over again: i am so glad to have found your channel. xxx
Awe...that makes me feel so special, thank you!! I'm glad to have you! 💗
I'm almost 44 and I'm really enjoying your channel, which I've recently found. It's nice to see someone do their makeup simply like us average women.
And I love that dollar tree eye shadow because it is subtle and I need that to go with the bright red lips I wear every single day. Thanks for a great video, Jenifer, you did a wonderful job and you look beautiful!
I just can't get over how this technique for your eyes , just like mine I may add, truly works, I'm so very thankful for your eye tutorials, please please do more if you find the time
Great video! Appreciate how real & honest u r. Thx for the excellent eyeshadow techniques! 👍🏻❤️
Just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love watching your videos. I don't have a TV and watch a lot of UA-cam and you are just my favorite because you are so real. I look forward to every new video. Please don't ever change.
Oh my goodness, what a sweet thing to say!! Thank you so much! Hope you have a fantastic week!! :) :)
Oh wow, I'm so flattered!! Thank you for coming back to say such sweet things! We're all in this boat together! ❤️
Oh my gosh, I almost feel embarrassed. Thank you so much!! 😊
You are very welcome!! :)
I am so glad I found your channel. You are so lovely to watch 🤗
I love how simple your makeup is, I'm the same way with makeup. You don't see this anymore these days. I enjoyed watching, Thank you. 😊
Let's hear it for the wedge sponge, hahaha! So much more sanitary and economical =)
Hahaha! I agree! 😊
Economy for sure!
Even though this video is old, I’m so glad I found it. This helped me with my make-up. I’m currently 48 and oh was I struggling.
Denise
Yay let's hear it for makeup UA-camrs that are over 40 and go for natural easy looks we can do!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🎊
Lol!! Thank you! ❤️️
Thank you for this GRWM....your so funny and natural... and I love that you don't act like you know everything about make up....your real!!! Plus your beautiful.... with or with out make up!!!
I am a brand new subscriber to your channel and I love how authentic you are :) Thank you!
And the powders make every wrinkle show :( )
No fuss beauty. When your gorgeous on the inside and outside it doesn't take much to emphasize it! Go girl!
Now this is REAL hooded eyed tutorial ... 😀.. I have hooded eyes like you and this is how I do my eye makeup too! Love it... And Your beautiful with & without makeup.. Thank you for this.. 👍🏻💕
Great tutorial. I really learned a lot and I love the fact that the products were drugstore.
You did a great job with your look! Gonna try that lip combo. Sending healing prayers to you! Lisa
Beautiful!
Great job showing how you apply your makeup. I even learned a few things that I am going to try. Love the lip liner and chapstick look. Very natural.
Oh good! I'm glad you enjoyed and I'm glad you were able to pick something up that might work for you. Hope you have a fabulous evening!
Thank you!! Its all about what works for YOU!! And love the drugstore.......
You look great!!! Great tips for aging eyes! I'm going to get fillers tomorrow morning to help with my bags under my eyes and I'm only 30 so I feel you on the whole aging thing! I hope I look as good as you do at your age.
Wish me luck and keep making videos!
I'm not shocked at all i love using the cheap makeup sponges there's no need for expensive sponges love your look so beautiful and pretty i just use drugstore makeup too xxx
yes to the wedge sponge that's inexpensive and does the job!
Omg! you're back, awesome, great video!!!! Thanks for sharing.
You are REAL and naturally gorgeous with helpful tips for a naturally-not over done-makeup application....I'm subscribed! ;)
great video. HUGS
I still use these wedge sponges! Solidarity :) !!!! Great video Jenifer
Jenifer, you are living proof that one doesn't have to use high-end products to be beautiful!! Loved this video!! Big hugs!! Lorraine
Jenifer, Thanks for your videos. You are real AND beautiful. I hope you are healing and that you hand is no longer bruised. xo
Thank you so much! Such nice things to say! Hope you have a wonderful evening! :)
I found LA Colors bold eyeshadow at Dollar Tree, it's my FAVE! Glad someone else likes it, thought it was just me!
Thank you! A great makeup video for the rest of us that are not beauty gurus! If you ever change it up😂 I'd love to see more videos like this.
Lol! I've always considered myself makeup challenged, so assumed there must be others out there like me. 😉. Thank you for watching!
You are so much fun to watch! Really enjoyed your video. Thanks for letting us get ready with you ;)
Oh how sweet, thank you!! :) :)
I love this video! I like your honesty about aging. You are beautiful.
Thank you so much! We all go through it sooner or later. ;)
hi jenifer, I love your videos, you always look very put together and beautiful no matter if its high end or low end make up- skin care .. I cannot believe how well you do your hair color and high lites....I just cant do my own hair color anymore just too darn hard.....thx again and take care.
You're so pretty even without makeup. Always a joy to watch. 😊
Oh, you're too nice! Thank you so much! :) :) :)
I literally LOVE your video! you really do things to help a person my age get it right! I love the elf products..you're awesome..thank you for the video! :)
Thank you for saying such nice things! :) I'm glad you found something I said helpful.
I have the same hooded eyes problem and you just saved my life !!!!! Thankyou 💖🙏🏻
Oh that's great! Glad you were able to pick something up! That makes it all worth while. :)
I love how simple you are ❤️
hi Jenifer thank you!
Beautiful final look, I love it XOXO
Your makeup looks just as good as so many other's makeup that is a lot more expensive!
April Jo I'll have to look into the ROC. Thank you!

its working for me. Good luck!
I promise.
Bunny129 individual lashes are also great if people don't want to do a full lash.
Bunny129 thank you!! I will have to try them.
So glad I came across your channel......loved your GRWM, you look so beautiful, thank you for this video.....xo
really want to try the elf bronzer now! thanks for the tips!
Bless your heart. My daughter played basketball for years and tore her acl while playing and it was a horrible experience.
Watch Stephanie Lange! She does a lot of hooded eye tutorials! I do my eyes very much like yours since I am older as well! Great job!
Love your look. I was surprised you didn't use blush.
I LOVE the wedges! They work great. I thought about using a brush or the new applicator. But didn't.
Hi Jenifer! love your hair and your eyelids! :) you're beautiful! Thanks for doing this! Lori

I actually like putting it on the apples of my cheeks too. One more way that I don't follow the rules! Wishing for you a speedy recovery. :)
