This song is just so fun! The drum solo in the middle is cool, but the way they transition from the drum solo into the guitar solo is the part that gets me, just awesome. If you really want to hear some impressive drumming listen to "Secret My Lips" her drumming just drives the whole song! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂
Totally agree with you about the drummer and lead guitar player. In fact, every one of the band members is exceptional imo.... There's some videos where the base player also gets to show her stuff.

You may *Rock My World* but you shall never take my *Freedom!!!!* _(See you hovering over that space bar to comment on _*_Akane_*_ drum solo but then _*_Kanami_*_ came in with that guitar solo)_
Band-Maid, by the chance like 99% of the time, brings their MV audience big smiles on his/her face. Maybe you’re shy and you showed a little. As a native Japanese, I think this Freedom has a J-Pop melody line and taste, sensed form the good-old SHOWA era (Japan’s calendar: 1926〜1989), and depicted with their contemporary arrangement, thanks to Mincho (ld gt), MISA(bs), and Ahchan(dr).
Well, it isn't Kayōkyoku, a la Miyuki Nakajima, but it does show its roots. There is a lot of jazz influence in Mincho's composition and playing. They do not tie themselves down to any one genre. The fact that they are all excellent musicians makes them great as performers as well...and, they bring something back to rock music that has been missing for a long time...FUN.
Nothing to be compared. They are completely different. Not the same type of music at all, so maybe you should just keep your nonsensical fan advice for yourself.
@@bohoghjensen3168 No worries. Rest assured I am not offended at all. It’s just that I don’t think it does make sense to say A is ‘better’ than B, when A and B cannot just be compared, as not belonging to the same category. It is perfectly fine that you claim to ‘prefer’ one group amongst others, but it is eventually just your own musical taste involved.
@@septimusseverus7237 But i don´t understand that? They are both Heavy Metal, i agree that it´s not all their music that can be compared, but in my opinion they are the same category? Have you heard Fate gear´s "Scars in my life"??
Sorry, but again,I have tried to see what the hype about this band is all about (I've honestly tried to watch them more than a dozen times now),and nope - I just dont get it. They're talented no doubt, but those outfits cant be taken seriously (yeah,I get the maid connection),but nah,I'm a firm Warning fan, they're the real deal to me - this J-rock stuff has its fans,I'm just not one
the hype about this band is because of 90+ songs, produced in a (short) span of 7 years, and not a single one is bad. or mediocre. or so- so. no. every song is polished to the last note, with a lot of dedication to their fans opinions. also, they write their own music and texts, ergo, not a project of some old geezers... it's about their stage presence. i've never seen a band smiling and being happy just playing, while not being "up in smoke". it's about their background story and their personalities. it's about their skill. for me, these ladies are superb musicians and yet, they themselves are not satisfied, so they study, train and work really hard to be better... yeah, the dresses can be distractive. it's a japanese thing, but not much different to some western examples. at least they don't dress up like demons and shit... now, i'm not trying to convert you or criticize your opinion. just pointing out some of the aspects (and probably failing miserably) of the hype. cheers, mate!
Aren’t the girls of The Warning fans of Band-Maid? Or maybe I’m remembering wrongly. But it’s true Band-Maid isn’t a traditional rock band so those only expecting certain things from them would be disappointed. They are even “pissing off” some Of their so-called fans because of some of their choices in music-writing, apparently. So it depends on what your impression and expectations of “the real deal” is. I am grateful that more people are finding Band-Maid to be “the real deal” every day.
I'm happy you found your band *The Warning* they are a very talented 3 piece band. Like myself I found my band and I'm happy you gave *BAND-MAID* a chance. _(Rock On)_

That transition is definitely a killer, effortlessly smooth. Kanami working her magic as Akane sets the stage for her.
Blooming and Dice are probably their most popular songs.
MISA MISA MISA!

Great reaction...and awesome t-shirt.

@@bohoghjensen3168 I think we just don’t agree on the meaning of ´better’. Also, Band-Maid is not a metal band.

It's ok, not everyone likes the same bands. I guess AC/DC are grateful that people weren't worried about Angus Young dressing up as a schoolboy :)
