Very helpful… just getting started 14 days in.. I guess you just have to switch it up until it works for you.. I was hoping for a natural solution. Someone needs to figure out something that works for the majority of carnivores.
There are people who have tried all the things you mention. But still suffer constipation. You didn't mention magnesium or taking more salt, but even that does not solve stubborn constipation. Carnivore doctors have to go back to Square oblne to get to the bottom of this.
I carnivore diet I don't go to poop for several days and the stool becomes very hard and comes in the form balls. These balls are joined together in a lump and it doesn't come out. Couple of times I had to use my fingers to take these balls. One time maybe my nails did something and it started bleeding and then it remained soar for several days. I have to use laxative 'to keep going regularly to avoid these painful episodes. What can I do
Viel Fett.. damit die Gallenblase endlich besser funktioniert, dann klappt es mit dem Stuhlgang jeden Tag und das ist normal, alles andere ist Verstopfung .
Taking magnesium and moving more also helps with constipation, if you spend most of your day sitting, try to go for a 30 minutes walk. Also, for people with SIBO, taking a glutamine supplement could help
Thank you for this video! I just got functional labs done and I am very low on T3. My husband has been very regular so I knew there was something wrong. Also, I have no gallbladder and I was formerly a vegan, ughhh. I suspect I have low bile.
Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet : I am now over 100 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else 400-500 g of cocked meat plus 7-8 eggs a day. Divided in 2 meals) I am now 34 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-20%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss) I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems. I lost about 15 lbs in the first 6 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 6 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements) I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor can I change my body composition. So I would like to ask more experienced Carnivores: 1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnviroa diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat) 2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you? 3- When should i just start using the CICO model as a Carnivore? Thank you for your attention!
1 - If you don't have underlying health condition, carnivore may not be ideal. Add honey, maybe some fruit. 2 - it varies widely, but I'd say 6 months 3 - we don't bother with cico model on carnivore diet.
Eat boiled egg White and chicken breast for around 5 to 7 days to kick start fat loss again and remain in Ketosis and that 15 % BF will come off very fast.
Hey there. Carnivore is not a tool to reach your imagined best body. 15% body fat is kinda arbitrary, isn't it? Yet another modern day goal far removed from nature. Carnivore is a diet to make your body reach its potential. Eat carnivore, work out, and your body will land at the body-fat percentage that's best for it to function in your specific situation. That might be 10%, it might be 25%. I would say that you are not eating enough. You are barely functioning, and your body is preparing for that: Holding back emergency fuel. 500g of meat and seven eggs, that is a massive deficit. You are starving yourself. Your body can't repair and manage shit while starving. That is like just 1800 kcal. A sedentary person would have that as their TDEE, certainly not someone who trains, and certainly not at your age. Those 1800kcal should be one of your two meals per day. Make it 80% fat! You have to UP your fat intake considerably. A good 1000kcal more. At least. Maybe even 2000 kcal more. It sounds strange. Yeah. But in many cases, not being successful on the carnivore diet is because of eating too little. It is not a standard diet where you would just eat less.
@@notjustforme First of all, i eat 500g of COCKED MEAT (500g of COCKED fat meat it is a least 2,250kcal). Now if you are trying to say that i should be ok beig over 20%BF just because i eat meats and eggs, like that make me a better person or special, than i can be 20%BF eating other foods This is a diet not a religion. How much food should I eat for body fat and how to calculate this when a majority of the carnivorous community just claims we eat should until we are full and everything will happens as a magic?.
Interesting. It was never an issue for me. Definitely reduced volume from the reduction in bulk, but frequency remained about the same after the initial transition into ketosis.
I have SIBO with constipation and been eating carnivore almost 11 weeks now. I had great results (although looser than I would like long term) for the first 7 weeks and was able to successfully wean off all magnesium and other regularity products I had been taking prior to carnivore! I was so happy - Then all of a sudden I’ve been having major constipation issues again.…in spite of eating lots of fat, etc. Any thoughts why this would happen after carnivore working so well at first?
I started using Mannatech digestive enzymes. I'm normal now for 3 months!!! After 2 years of torture. Strict carnivore. For 2 years I struggled with hard/impacted stools. What a relieve. And I used enzymes before but different brands. All those helped for 3 weeks most then back to constipation.
Take a capsule of Manesium Citrate before bed every night. That solved my constipation problems and gave me a restful night's sleep! Hope it helps you as well. Best wishes!
I heard an interview with dr.elizabeth bright, and she states that on the carnivore diet, you should still have a bm daily. That is normal… she says if you don’t have a bm every day or at least every other day, you likely have a thyroid issue
That’s interesting. At first I had diarrhea, and thought I may have oxalate dumping, so I added 2 small pieces of fruit daily. Now I’m hardly going at all. I feel stuffed. I have SIBO, too.
Everyone quotes this one study where 100% of the patients resolved 100% of their constipation symptoms by eliminating all fiber. This one study is the basis of all arguements for rempval of fiber from the diet. The results appear to be statistically impossible. If this conclusion is accurate, why are there no other studies that confirm this?
When you eat material which is completely useable by the body, why would it expel it as waste ? It doesn't. If you are eating the correct food you will rarely poop This is called NORMAL not constipation.
i thought so too but the truth is if you dont poop then you didnt process it. the body works more like a juicer. once we the get liquid from the food then we need to get rid of the waste just like a juicer machine. if no waste comes out then its a matter of time before things start malfunctioning. It doesnt matter if all you eat is meat and drink water.
I’m just starting week 7 of Carnivore. At first I had diarrhea that felt like I was passing shards of glass, through my urethra, too, so I thought I may have oxalate dumping, so I added 2 small pieces of fruit daily. Now I’m hardly going at all. I feel stuffed, and nauseous at times. I have SIBO, too, and no gallbladder. I did add 2 small pieces of fruit daily, mostly clementines, so it would hopefully counter the oxalate dumping. I guess it worked because I’m not going. I’m now trying increasing my fat intake, so we’ll see if that works. I am eating a little cheese, a couple of eggs, and heavy cream in my decaf espresso (one cup/day). I don;t want to quit the coffee, yet, because I bought so much of it. So should I get rid of the cheese or the eggs, or what? I also hav That’s interesting. At first I had diarrhea, and thought I may have oxalate dumping, so I added 2 small pieces of fruit daily. Now I’m hardly going at all. I feel stuffed. I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and other autoimmune diseases.
Im sorry . I m not a doctor , and i don’t want to give any advises , but how come people can’t refuse drinking, or eating something, cause they « bought a lot of it “ . It’s your health we are talking about …

I agree. It's frustrating. We need hard science, none of this "you're doing it wrong".
Take some Epsom salt that worked well for me just stay close to a toilet

drink kefir. two glass of kefir in the morning and you will go.
