Where is this location? Have been watching your videos for couple months now and me and my pops have gotten into surf fishing for stripers. You have a big influence on us.. we have tried Malibu twice and now Hollywood beach in Oxnard. Would love if you can recommend a beach or area to try out we have been skunked all 3 times 10 hours each casting all day

Great catches of nice fish!! The surf along side looked to be lined with other fishers. What type of rod is that with a grip away up from the reel seat?
@@HuyNguyen-lu3zj Maybe, with tension on the line the cranking and circling bail can twist the line. Crank when the line stops going out or set drag higher?? It seems, if the fish is pulling out the line cranking is not gaining anything but maybe twisting the line? No?

I have a 2500 stradic and I use 10lb. Im not sure how much line the bg holds. But Id say 10-15lb should be good. Depending where you are fishing.
