Try the pipes on a good tide at the Fisherman's park incoming tide on lagoon side is hot. 1/2 oz silver/blue back rattle traps never Fale. Lucky Craft LV 500 3/4 oz when the wind is blowing.
What’s your preferred time to go fishing in the bay? I’ve always heard either 1-2 hours before high tide or no matter what tide just go during sunrise and sunset
@ethankirkpatrick6039 I usually go early morning no matter what the tide is because in this area the wind kicks up to 12+ mph at around 1pm on most days. I've also caught stripers at high and low tide so I can't explain it! 🤙🏼tight lines
@@gc_in_dc I recommend Berkley X9, its super smooth and silent. Cheaper "chinese" Amazon braid isn't smooth and the braid pattern and material they use to manufacture the line is inferior.
What part of the bay is this? I dont need any specific spots, i am over by Emeryville/Berkely and cant quite figure where to go for good clean access to the water
Nice stripper there!! LOL. I had guessed that was off the 101 in South City. I fish the Petaluma River sometimes around Shollenbarger Park. Very relaxing.
@petekraus5067 not at all! I have a skin condition on my left hand and salt water irritates it so i wear the glove. I use the lip grip so I don't get hooked when the fish thrash around!
I laughed right away as you said no wind. 🤣 That NEVER happens for me!
🤣
Nice catch on a pretty morning!
Near oyster point
Nice one🎣👍👊

Thanks. I wasn't sure what the best way it is to retrieve a calista.
@peterbedford2610 I don't know that that's the best way but I sometimes switch it up from slow to fast to jerk, etc.
I subscribed nice videos man I' need some good luck this video will get me in the mood
@1luxuryliner440 good luck and tight lines! 🤙🏼
Is that lucky craft? And where did you buy mage speed?
Good stuff my man! You briefly mentioned it, but what rod/size and reel are you rockin?
This one is the 10' Okuma Rockaway with a Penn Pursuit 4000. Not a very expensive setup and i like it a lot!

Brisbane/SSF!
This looks amazing. I live in SF and am trying to find cool spots that aren't just the pier. Do you think you can drop the location ?
@@clydev7512 brisbane/ssf. Pier fishing isn't my thing!
Some noisy braid, whatcha using?
Yeah I had to get off the vid very annoying
That one is the KastKing braid. Not sure why it makes that sound? I'll have to try a different brand. Any rec's?

Brisbane/SSF! I've been seeing a few guys catching stripers on that side. Shorebird/Cesar Chavez park or the Bulb.

Thanks for the pointers! I'll have to tie on a swim bait and do some leg work!
Looks like the oracle building
@billlaflaur1120 oracle is about 15 miles south
Looks like Brisbane

Except the kayaks don't care about you fishing!!!!
That the first fish you caught is illegal to keep since you hooked it by the body and not the mouth.
Interesting, didnt know that! Thanks for the heads up.
Action bradda! Howzit? You from da islands? 🤙
@AK47_seekndestroy unfortunately no 😢 my fam has lived there for many yrs so I try to go couple times per yr 🤙🏼

@@lucascalavita5474 come on man, you know i cant spot burn
Should’ve let that fish go back home.
It was foul hooked not even in its mouth.
Don’t eat fish caught in the Bay.
