@@lucyclark1301 I agree, Jeff does a lot things wrong but he was not wrong for firing her. She told him in front of the entire office that it was humiliating work for him. He has feelings and could only imagine how he felt then when he didn’t go along with her Nicolas Cage story, calls his boss and went after the show.
There's something psychologically very sick about Jeff -- he is clearly twisted from some sort of past trauma . He perpetually tests all his employees loyalty by essentially abusing them verbally and mentally with sporadic praise. His complex often depraved bipolar nature is unpredictable and insufferable On one hand - he appears to be charming , witty , generous and displays some sensitivity. And on the other hand - he is petulant , sarcastic , immature , vindictive , highly controlling , constantly seething with underlying anger ... and can be utterly ruthless . His hypocritical ego demands constant adulation but his paranoia won't allow him to trust anyone because he himself is incapable of what he demands . He can dish it out but can't take it. He is untrustworthy , fickle .. a walking contradiction . He wanted to administer the maximum amount of pain and humiliation to Jenny on camera because this consummate business man would sacrifice his Mother for ratings . That's probably where all his issues stem from. I hope this is the end of him because Jenny was a Saint and the one and only person who stood by him and put up with his BS. for far too long . He didn't deserve her loyalty Shame on you Jeff .And Jenny this is probably the best thing that's happened to you.. you didn't deserve to be treated so badly by this pathetic excuse of a human .

@veronica carlson The show was originally centered around Jenni and she's an executive producer. Jenni would have had a job/got paid regardless but the focus of the show was Jenni and Jeff's relationship so Jeff was not going to fire her.
He was so awful to her, but karma got him in the end. His life FELL APART.
Exactly. I literally had to just stop watching the show early on in that season because I just could not watch him do that to her. After how he tested Zoila, and losing her you would think he would have learned. She and Jenni were family more than employees at that point. I use to like him but I'm disgusted by who he really is.

Did you see how and what Jenni had to do to keep the show going, and there is a reason why the show is called what it is you really might want to watch the old shows, it wouldn’t have made it this far without her. bsr8129 I think she helped build his company to where it is and has he hired more employees she wasn’t needed as much, because of her children and he was ok with that, really I thought when they were eating they would work everything out but, to get the boot it was harsh. Yes she carried the show for years because he lost it on a lot of employees and the people he was working for now that he has a staff she isn’t needed cruel she has invested a lot of years like Zola only to be put out my opinion Jeff also thinks the show might suffer from this move
DrMario Pepper I think he said all the positive things knowing full well what he was about to do was wrong. Jenni showed her true love for Jeff and apparently even finished lunch. If the roles had been reversed I’ll bet Mr Wonderful would never have been so gracious and kind.
Jenni has way more class than Jeff ever will. The way she’s carried herself while Jeff bashed her in the media with lies about her filing a complaint with Bravo, only for Jeff to backpedal when she finally spoke to deny that accusation amongst others he made, shows what a class act she is.
@veronica carlson Jeff most certainly backpedaled on his original statements that Jenni filed a complaint agaist him and other statements he made. Furthermore, once the season ended Jeff said on his radio show that he handled himself poorly and that he regretted embarassing Jenni in front of clients and co-workers and for letting their friendship end. Also, it was Jeff not Jenni who initiated their big fight which resulted in the two parting company. Let's not forget that horrible scene in the car where Jeff is making fun of Jenni and calling her a liar in front of a client. But before all of this, there have been years and years of Jeff belittling Jenni and other employees in front of clients, so it's ridiculous to say that anyone embarassed Jeff in front of a client.

I feel bad for them. I think it cut him deep that she said he was holding her back, so he let her go. I think what she said was out of anger. Instead of apologizing and trying to work it out, they both had their pride. So sad.

he is such a bad boss and a friend , she clearly is going thru a difficult time after giving birth and he is so blind that he makes everything so much harder for her by bulling her until she breaks ugh l really hopes she comes thru and that she realize that no amount of money is worth going thru that sort of treatment that just gives you bad mental health and lack of inner peace
What you ppl didn’t realize was that he let her go because she called the executives at Bravo(way above Andy) and filed a (Me-too) complaint against Jeff. Jeff found out right before their meeting.
After all her years of service and loyalty to his company, I think she deserved a full discussion before arriving to that decision an hour before.
Jenny was ready to grow. It’s annoying to hear Jeff do so many interviews that are negative about her and she’s never said anything negative back.
Jeff said in an radio interview he is regretting it, too little to late, she was always there for him also on a personal level, like a good friend would do, poor Jenny, I still cry when I see this scene

Jeff is so wrapped up in himself that he can see nothing else. It is sad to think that Jenni is gone, but - hey - maybe this is the best thing that has happened to her in 16 years. I know you will do well Jenni - you are a wonderful person and anyone would be thrilled to hire you work for them. All the best .... for the rest of your life. I can see great things in your future.

When Jenni came back from maternity leave she found out in the car that her position was taken by that guy. The look on her face then spoke volumes. She had been demoted....in the car of course. I feel sorry for Gage and for every single employee he’s had or still has. He says there’s a right way (his way) of doing everything. Well guess what Mr ego, there’s also a right way and wrong way to treat and talk to people, and it’s not your way. Jenni smoothed over one situation after another for Jeff thru the years when the hole in the front of his face was rude and horrible even to clients. I think you’ve really screwed up Jeff.. I think you blew it. And BTW, Jenni says she DID NOT go to bravo or Jeff’s bosses etc. Remember, all along Jennifer has stated she was fired or let go. Jeff on the other hand has claimed to be innocent of everything. I think Monroe is a doll but can’t help but wonder what Jeff is really like as a parent? One has to question that with the short fuse and disposition he has.
She didn’t even work for Jeff at that point! It was an act. She worked for Bravo. The rest was real but Jenny’s part was fake. She only showed up for filming.

This makes me so sad I was really loving this show !!!! I liked that it was a unique show and Jeff and Gage are a stunning couple with a gorgeous little girl !!! But what made the show was the dynamic and special bond Jeff and Jenni had they were more than coworkers it was actually a really beautiful friendship!!! And now I'm not excited for the show I'm just sad and was it worth it worth throwing away something so beautiful? Really ? Because at the end of the day when family fights noone wins ! And they were basically family. 😥♥️

Jeff stated on a radio show that an hour before he met Jenni at this lunch, he found out she had went to Bravo complaining about him and her job. He initially hadn't planned to fire her but felt he had to to protect himself and his company. He did what was best for both of them in my opinion.

In a morbid and ironic way, this is Jenni’s best acting gig, pretending to be amicable with Jeff Lewis. Still heartbreaking...

He has a good heart. Yet that heart is being pulled like a puppet and on a string by so called entertainment, friends, lovers, etc.

Jenny, like a director stated to me once, upon letting me go, he said: 'you will be okay' & to this day I am ok and semi happy.

Jenni's career is not about to take off because the truth is that her failure to land any acting jobs had nothing to do with Jeff. She has no more excuses and I think it's going to be a tough pill to swallow.
Mandlakazi Ngumbela I think Jenni actually loves this whole charade of being Jeff’s “employee” and then blaming him for her acting career not taking off. Then she doesn’t have to admit that she’s just a failure as an actress and it’s no one’s fault but her own.
Poor Jenni. Poor Jeff. I feel sorry for both of them. For Jenni for being sabotaged. I don't know how Jenni was able to eat after receiving that bombshell from Jeff. For Jeff, because he has built a wall around himself. The problem with building a wall is it keeps the bad feelings out but you are also trapped within a wall. Reconcile your differences.

She kept eating because she knew she didn’t really work for him, but WITH him and probably thought it would be an issue on next season for Bravo’s storyline as that’s who she really worked for. I mean you make a business improvement seminar about you, you mention the business in question as an embarrassment to you, you attempt to get your co-workers to side with you against your boss at lunch, you make up a lie about an acting part (one that made no sense when you know she doesn’t work for Jeff, so it wouldn’t be him to give her time off, and she only works on the show 12 weeks an yr), you FORGET the planner (the closest she’s come to being fired in past was that thing specifically), and she clearly kept in touch with office staff ripping Jeff as she knew about the changes. She’s “surprised”, no she thought her part in the show was changing

I was never so happy to see rubber lips finally done with TV . I just worry that the little girl should really be watched very closely. This man has not attain the level of maturity to be looking after a child .

Watching this, none of it sits well- not in 2018.
The way this was handled during their lunch, came across highly impersonal and careless /. I expected more from Jeff especially due to their longstanding career together.
