One, she’s putting on a show for the camera. A) we all now know that she doesn’t work for Jeff. B) let’s be REAL here, she makes a lot of money as his “assistant” on this show. C) she’s married to a doctor and has a generally great life. D) she blames her failures on Jeff, who is no angel, btw. E) her interview on WWHL was very telling as she side stepped answers and was very evasive. F) painting herself as a victim is not a good look considering that she was granted an executive producer credit for flipping out.

I can feel Jenni so much, it's like a depression, you just pile on so much shit that when you finally explode your head is so all over the place that you no longer know what's really the root of the problem. Just watching the show and seeing his behavior and outbursts is enough reason to have someone call him out. I like the show but he’s out of line. If this is how he treats a “friend”, I’m glad I’m not one to him. He’s a jerk and he’s totally trying to cover his a@@. Look how he treated Zoila, he spoke horribly to her. You only work for Jeff 5 months out of the year, you have a whole 7 other months you could be working on your acting career, what a drama queen.
Jenni absolutely blames Jeff that her career isn’t more of what she wants it to be, which makes it really hard to be friends with someone like that. But there’s no chance she had an opportunity to develop sitcoms and she put it aside for Jeff-look at her book, she wrote things he didn’t like and he had to sue her to get her to take things out because she wouldn’t put their friendship, the show, anything over the chance to get ahead with the book.
Watched the episode last night and I think Bravo would’ve edited the episode so everyone, if not Jenni in particular, got a good rap due to Jenni’s complaint about abuse but that edit made Jenni look BAD! She clearly started the argument by saying she put her career on hold for Jeff’s business, when asked for a particular example she said she had an offer to be in a Nic Cage movie that would require 2 weeks off, when interrogated by Jeff she admitted she actually hadn’t even auditioned (which was actually a video not in-person audition) but she “felt she would have been given the part which would’ve required 2 weeks off to film so she didn’t even send the film”. The only offer was for the video audition. She refused to see/ admit that she did not, in fact, have an offer and Jeff’s business didn’t get in the way as she never told him about it-and minus the reality cameras we now know she doesn’t work for him but Bravo, so it would’ve been Bravo she asked for 2 weeks off filming “Flipping Out”. I think he had every right to fire her and say “go for it, you say I’m holding you back well now I’m not” and since she’s married to a doctor she won’t miss the paycheck. Moreover the ep started with Jeff having a seminar to better his business and when employees were asked to input she talked about HER career as an actress not his business, how rude and a waste of his money for the seminar. Then she forgot his planner in the restaurant which has caused insane fights on previous seasons. I mean if she were working for him, I’d def fire her for her lack of having her head in the game

It is apparent that Jenni does not communicate well. Jeff cannot read her mind. When he apologized she did not say I don’t want to leave but I want to be able to audition and work something out. This is not his fault he didn’t ask her to make any sacrifices.

Bravo pays jenni not Jeff...she could've left a long time ago. I also believe she was getting exec prod credit for flipping out as well. She could have gotten into acting if she wanted to, flipping out was a safety net. I think jenni prob grew tired of jeff in a way but he has been the same for years. She has to take some ownership of her decisions. Jeff can be difficult but it is his business....too bad she couldn't have moved on prior and at least salvaged the friendship.

And now that Flipping Out isn't on as often or for as many episodes per season, she's creating this farce that Jeff was somehow an abusive boss to her because she sees that the fame train is leaving the station. Whoa is me, Jenny. I don’t think Jeff is necessarily the easiest person to work for but she stayed on for 10+yrs. I just read an interview where Jeff stated Jenny was no longer his employee and hadn’t been for quite some time. She was employed by Bravo, 6 months out of the year. On a limited basis; days/hours. She had over half the year to do whatever it is she wanted. I don’t feel badly for her. She has so much to be grateful for.

paridso paradise the problem for Jeff is that she blames him for not being more successful-at the beginning of the clip you hear part of the conversation where Jeff won’t allow her to claim that she turned down a show at NBC to be on his show. Now we know, she’s not employed by him but by Bravo and only “worked” for him during the 5 months the show filmed. It’s impossible to be a supportive friend when your friend is 1. Blaming you for not getting her dreams and 2. Deluding herself that she could be some big shot if certain people weren’t in her way

Jeff lives in a tangible world for him. His perception is his own reality. People want to expand and live their lives. Jeff is selfish for not letting Jenny grow. Instead of not subscribing to her narrative. He should understand that fear keeps us back. Jenny is comfortable but probably scared of going forward. But I think she’ll be ok. She got her back bone and can finally leave Jeff. Who is her employer, a friend would encourage the best for you.
