Kunjuannande Kada in Kollam is one such shop that specializes in seafood delicacies. കൊല്ലത്തു പോയാൽ കുഞ്ചു അണ്ണന്റെ കടയിൽ പോയി നല്ല നാടൻ ഊണ് കഴിക്കണം എന്ന് എന്നോട് ഒത്തിരി ഫുഡ് ആൻഡ് ട്രാവൽ സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ഇപ്രാവശ്യം അവിടെ പോയി. വല്യ ആർഭാടം ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു സാധാരണ ഗ്രാമീണ കട. സീഫുഡ് ആണ് അവിടുത്തെ പ്രത്യേകത.
വാഴ ഇലയിൽ വിളമ്പിയ ഊണിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സാമ്പാറും മീൻ കറിയും അവിയലും എല്ലാം ഉണ്ട്. സ്പെഷ്യൽ ഐറ്റം ആയി മീൻ പീര, കൊഞ്ചു ഫ്രൈ ചെമ്പല്ലി ഫ്രൈ, എന്നിങ്ങനെ മറ്റു പലതും. എനിക്ക് അവിടെ ഏറ്റവും രുചികരം ആയി തോന്നിയത് ഭീമാകാരൻ ഞണ്ടു തന്നെ ആണ്. വളരെ അധികം സമയം മസാലയിൽ കിടന്നു വെന്ത ആ ഞണ്ടു അടിപൊളി ടേസ്റ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. ഊണിനു പുറമെ ഇവിടെ കലം ബിരിയാണി, പൊതിച്ചോറ്, ചിക്കൻ ബീഫ് വിഭവങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയും ഉണ്ട് കേട്ടോ. ഇവിടുത്തെ ഭക്ഷണം ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ കിലോമീറ്ററുകൾ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു വന്ന ചിലരെയും അവിടെ കണ്ടു. When we were in Kollam, we went to explore a traditional seafood meals from Kunjuvannanade kada. It was a tiny shop devoid of any luxuries, but the food was tasty. The shop is known for its seafood specials. We tasted meen peera, konju fry and a few more special dishes. What I loved most was the crab roast. Crab was slow-cooked with plenty of masala. It tasted awesome.
