"Look at them running around, looting." "Yeah, ever been to the British Museum?" It's full of ancient artifacts from all over the world, hence the reference to looting.
Lots of artifacts were rescued, fact is if the locals had got to them 1st they'd have been melted down like the looted stuff from previous tombs etc. Stolen, looted, whatever they're still here for people to see & learn from unlike lots of stuff NOT in a museum 🤔
Steve is a leftfield.. intellectual comedic genius. Please react to his 'Offended' routine. You will appreciate it. Keep up the great work guys.. love you two.
Gotta say, thanks for introducing me to him. I really like his way with comedy, quite a unique style. Never seen him before. I loved it, used to be in a rock band myself -I always say 'singer, not a musician'! Cos I'm crap there, that's where the pie deflates -like it's been in a cold oven too long. The band would joke with me "Hey, Owen, what key is this?" .... "It's one I can sing in... um," then try and make G sound a bit like C so I cover two at once. Can say, "yep, that's what I said". Anyway 2nd time watching this but must've been rushing or something last time cos forgot to like and comment. Weird. So, hope you're both doing well, chat to you both soon. (well I'm rewatching quite a few of your comedy vids right now, so don't be surprised if that's very soon!)
I was lucky enough to see him twice in my hometown in the UK. He tones it down a lot for this because it's on the BBC but he knows how to swear really well at just the right moment for maximum impact. If you get chance check out Steve Hughes talking about Jobs 😂
You may not realise, but "Live at the Apollo" was a weekly Saturday Night TV show on the BBC, not a private/DVD show, so the comics couldn't be too rude!
There is a funny story shared by Steve and Jim Jeffries and Brendon Burns, while living together in London some guys broke in and held a knife to Jim's neck and proceeded to rob them in their own home. I can't remember exactly who uses the story in their act but all three were present.
Meanwhile I’m sitting at home with a candle and a shopping bag for life lol 😂 love it 👊 Then the goth on the dodgem car.. He has some real great points..

Steve Hughes is a diamond. He does a great piece on homosexuality, although of you search 'Raw' I think it comes up with one he did in Sweden which is brilliant and includes that

Steve Hughes is hilarious but all he seems to have is the same 2 hour show, it hasnt changed for 10 years, he really needs to write some new stuff.
