Work on your game sense awareness and positioning, also what sensitivity do you play on you were missing a lot of cards as kiri lowering that could help tremendously as well

The problem with elo hell players is the fact that they get away with bad positioning and game sense in their rank giving the illusion that they are better than they are.
Well as lucio you can be a pocket but your tank needs to be good, of course if he is slow but jesus christ im in silver 3 and he is my average teammate when we get rolled thanks to their feeding

I peaked masters in OW1 and averaged high diamond solo queue, got back into OW2 recently did my placements and am hard stuck plat 5. Most games I win come as “expected” im guessing due to my high MMR, then I get a widow bot teammate who doesnt switch, or a doomfist/winston going in and dying every teamfight. So i’ll get 2 or 3 good games in a row, but those wins get offset by throwing teammates and lose more SR than I gain due to most wins being “expected”. Not saying I dont also make mistakes which cause us to lose teamfights, but elo hell in OW2 is unlike anything i’ve experienced in any other FPS.
It’s like that for most players what Overwatch does is when you go on a 2,3,4 or sometimes 5 game win streak they then put you in games that you have to carry to see if you deserve to rank up so I wouldn’t beat yourself up on it just keep playing and eventually you’ll get good enough and can carry those games

I’m now low diamond and even high plat at times… I am in elo hell because of players like him. The reset royally screwed over masters players by putting us all in plat lobbies for placements rather than just lowering us one rank. Why does every single plat and low diamond tank think they are Doomfist mains who have to 1v5 every fight and blame the healers? Then I’m on DPS and have to deal with these awful tanks who don’t know what they’re doing.

I was trying to figure out why and also asked if playstation had a way to connect to discord through the console as I don't own a PS5.
Low rank high ego is actually pretty common in OW2. I don't play comp at all now but when I see somebody complaining about enemies counterswapping, being so toxic and cheezy as if they're an ow2 champion in QP, it's 100% gold or lower. I was gold myself several seasons ago when I tried comp, but have never had the wish to bully someone for their in-game performance, I'm not experienced and skilled enough myself lol

This is not a bad day. He's clearly a Gold level player and that's fine. But there is a pretty big jump he needs to make to get to Diamond. High Gold is like 50-55th percentile. Low Diamond is greater than 80th percentile. The difference shows
Dude i've been playing OW for less than a year and I've hit mid plat already. Sure I have other FPS games played, but OW is much different to anything i've played (Rainbow Six Siege mainly which is all about holding angles and gunfights rather than wacky abilities). The mindset of "I think i'm a higher rank than I am" is what screws this guy up. He thinks he belongs higher and carries his team every time so he doesn't try as hard and ultimately doesn't play his best and rank up. This humbling against diamonds will hopefully show that a little bit. The gap between high gold and low diamond isn't an awful lot.

I'm a diamond Lucio one-trick on console, and I started playing a year ago at bronze. Took forever to get out of bronze/silver. I practiced a lot and climbed up to where I am by myself . And I will say this guy is in the opposite of Elo hell, he should not even be in Gold because I was literally gold just a couple of months ago and he is lower skill than 99% of golds lol.
The guy goes Lifeweaver on a map where he really doesn’t need to help give his team vertical movement. There’s no point to play Lifeweaver then, especially if he’s not going to be doing good dmg. You can never carry your team if you just healbot.
