even though I didn't play the best, it was still fun. I learn a lot; I was able to climb to gold 1 on tank and support in about 3 hours due to this experience.

2:27 I've been in gold for a while, people do ult track sometimes. If my team is on comms, then ult tracking is definitely happening, but if I'm the only one talking, no one else seems to care about it lol

I peaked masters in OW1 and averaged high diamond solo queue, got back into OW2 recently did my
placements and am hard stuck plat 5. Most games I win come as “expected” im guessing due to my high MMR, then I get a widow bot teammate who doesnt switch, or a doomfist/winston going in and dying every teamfight. So i’ll get 2 or 3 good games in a row, but those wins get offset by throwing teammates and lose more SR than I gain due to most wins being “expected”. Not saying I dont also make mistakes which cause us to lose teamfights, but elo hell in OW2 is unlike anything i’ve experienced in any other FPS.
It’s like that for most players what Overwatch does is when you go on a 2,3,4 or sometimes 5 game win streak they then put you in games that you have to carry to see if you deserve to rank up so I wouldn’t beat yourself up on it just keep playing and eventually you’ll get good enough and can carry those games

The problem with elo hell players is the fact that they get away with bad positioning and game sense in their rank giving the illusion that they are better than they are.
The absolute lack of respect for Widow’s sight lines is as gold as gold can get. Lost so many games because no one would even acknowledge her even if she wiped the entire round.
I assume it's because not only is he gold but he's gold on console. I dont think a gold console widow is hitting anything so probably just isn't used to seeing widow as a threat
I mean if people dont respect the enemy player no matter the hero - its bad... but with Widow its the worst

If he didn’t say he deserve diamond you should’ve put him in plat otherwise that explains why he died so much as he never experienced diamond players. If you put him against PC players then that’s unfair for someone with Gold skill
I ult track in gold-diamond but it’s usually just stuff like reaper ult, genji blade, grav because I haven’t played since OW1

placements have very little to do with ur rank, its all based on mmr. one player going 10-0 in placements could get gold while another will get diamond. it means very little.
also do yall not realize ur doing the same thing as this dude? "this dude is blaming his teammates, but me, nahh, my blaming of teammates is actually justified" you are in the rank youre in because of you, not anybody else.
As someone who has been gold/plat for years (I've entered Diamond recently, it might be partially because I don't play comp but I'm definitely no higher than diamond), my friends and I do ult track, we just don't really apply it. We'll be like "Oh I bet so and so has ult" but we won't communicate what we should do to counter it.
People talk about elo hell but i had a guy playing who was on a 13 lost streak, it went to 14 but he probably still kept playing when i went to sleep

This man is NOT in elo hell. He’s actually too high for what his skills are. I am a console player who was masters for like 4 seasons prior to season 9 rank reset. I’m now low diamond and even high plat at times… I am in elo hell because of players like him. The reset royally screwed over masters players by putting us all in plat lobbies for placements rather than just lowering us one rank. Why does every single plat and low diamond tank think they are Doomfist mains who have to 1v5 every fight and blame the healers? Then I’m on DPS and have to deal with these awful tanks who don’t know what they’re doing.

I play on console. Stuck in plat right now. I rage when I see players like this on my team. He can get better over time but as it stands right now this dude needs a lot of help. I'm surprised he's actually gold. Should be mid silver at best.

@itsOZone I'm not in discord in comp I go into team chat. Pretty sure they used discord when making this video is my point. They said he was in discord on his phone while playing. I was trying to figure out why and also asked if playstation had a way to connect to discord through the console as I don't own a PS5.

Elo hell is real cuz I remember being gold where everyone is feeding and then I had a gm friend boost me up to diamond. After that I solo queued in diamond, carried and won 8 games in a row and now I have a 76% win rate in ranked this season.

Low rank high ego is actually pretty common in OW2. I don't play comp at all now but when I see somebody complaining about enemies counterswapping, being so toxic and cheezy as if they're an ow2 champion in QP, it's 100% gold or lower.
I was gold myself several seasons ago when I tried comp, but have never had the wish to bully someone for their in-game performance, I'm not experienced and skilled enough myself lol

I'm a diamond Lucio one-trick on console, and I started playing a year ago at bronze. Took forever to get out of bronze/silver. I practiced a lot and climbed up to where I am by myself . And I will say this guy is in the opposite of Elo hell, he should not even be in Gold because I was literally gold just a couple of months ago and he is lower skill than 99% of golds lol.
